Cats are my favorite animals, so out of curiousity, what cat breeds do you like?
I really like Ragdolls and Birmans. :P
And for those of you that don't know cat breeds, a Ragdoll is actually a type of cat. :sarcasm:
I actually have a Ragdoll, and she happens to be around three years old.

I like Persians, blue persians, and Egyptian Mauls. I don't have any cats at the moment, but I would love to have one or two. My landlords don't allow pets in our house.

Both cats are passive, and nice, of what I heard. The Egyptians mauls like to run a lot though.

Maine Coon they are fluffy and kick ass, like fluffy chuck norris cats yeah

That's my kitty. His name is Bean. He's a Maine Coon mix breed. I'm not sure what the other breed is. I found him as a kitten in my yard one day. He mewed at me and I kept him cause I'm a sucker for a crying kitten.

i like the Egyptian Maus and the Ocicats, they are probably the closest thing to owning a tiger or lion that will ever get.
i've actually considered study zoology just so i could work with the "big" cats.

XD I love the kitties that you can hug and cuddle.. I don't care about breeds, I love them all...

is there a cat that is "mini" like they have in dog breeds. that would be so awesome, i'd be like a kitten but not really

@Kaylesha Blackheart, I think that the other breed could be a Turkish Angora. I learned a little bit about them on Cats 101 on the animal planet. I could be wrong, but that's what it kinda looks like from appearance.

He's cute though. Makes me want to pet him now. =3

@Sindima, I like to cuddle with them too. But they're such finicky cats. :P They like to be petted when they want to be petted. But oh well, at least they have a mind of they're own. That's what makes them interesting.

It's so interesting how everyone seems to have a very different opinion on cat breeds. ^^
I find it very unique that most cats have very different characters, even if they happen to be of the same breed.
My cat, a ragdoll, is technically supposed to be very loose and "floppy". xD
However, my cat isn't "floppy" in any way. :o
She's a very hyper and active kitty who has loved to play ever since I got her.
She also doesn't enjoy being held, which is something the breed itself tends to be known for.

i like all breeds of cats. all the cats i've ever owned are mixed breeds, but i think that my special cat could be a type of Egyptian Mau. I also have a type of Siamese.
the feral cats around our place seem like pure breeds. there is one mau out there who looks just perfect. there also used to be this calico out there who looked like she could've been an Angora. her fur was so soft and she was so beautiful with those siamese blue eyes.
i'd have to say, tho, when it comes to looks, i think tortoise shells are the prettiest. i used to have one and she was beautiful with that big orange spot on the middle of her forehead. =^_^=

my cat never liked being held, which could be a result of a young child rough housing with her. we got my cat when i was 7 so i didn't really know any better. however, since then we've got a dog and she craves attention. its actually really cute becaue she goes around the house mewing looking for someone to pet her.

@cbrstrshp, Munchkin cats are probably the breed you are looking for. Here's some examples:

Someday I want to have one of those Sphynx cats that don't really have fur. I think those are really neat looking! Ragdolls are hella cute. A couple of my friends really want those!

maus are really cool. mine isn't a full mau of course, being a mixed breed. she's built just like a mau, has the right type of eyes and meows, but she's not a common mau color. i heard most maus silvery or gray and stuff like that. my cat is this pinkish cream color. and she doesn't like to be held that much either. if i pick her up, she automatically climbs onto my shoulder. she may be a brat, but she is still loving. =^_^=

@cbrstrshp, I know right? I just looked up the breeds, cause I was curious to see if there was a toy cat. Well, I found one.

I wish I could keep one, but my landlords don't allow pets. Which bites, even if they did my Mom won't allow me to have another pet. Unless we get rich, so I told her to win the lottery or something. I can still pet my brother's cat Ash, when he wants the attention that is.

Sorry to say, nope. It's in the lease, if they find out we have any animals it's out we go. But like I mentioned before, I can just bug my brother's cat for attention. When he wants it that is, but I'll be happy if he lets me pet him. Sad, I know, owned by a cat. I'm ok, with it though.

Mutt cats! I have never owned a purebred cat once in my life. Every cat I have ever owned as either been rescued by my family as an adult or kitten or born from one of our barn cats.

Though I am partial to black cats as the majority of the cats I have owned have been black.

i like dogs. ok fine so cats are cute too but DOGS...oh dogs...they are SO FREAKING CUTE >.< lookie <(^(o)^)> its a corgi i <3 corgis....

I had four cats overall, and only the cat I have now is actually pure breed.
Ragdolls are so adorable.
Especially my cat.
