Char [[Short for Charlie]] was a simple, quiet girl how had a huge thing for "Punk Fashion" she was the stereotypical femme at times, but also a butch. She grew up in a small town, surrounded forests and lakes, on top of her rebellious style, she was also a lesbian. Which made her the talk of the town. Like every girl, she had her secrets, this one was about her best friend, they had a been best friends since Char could remember, but this girl was special. This girl was the love of Char's life, and she had yet to tell her.

I really should tell her, Char thought to herself. As she stood in front of her best friend, and the most beautiful girl in the whole world. Char couldn't help but stare at every inch of her body, the tail.. I love the tail, I just want to run my fingers through it.

Is, short for an unusual name, ishtar, stood in front of her friend, lived in a simple town, same town as char. They grew up together, she was a gothic japanese lolita, she had a slight asian air to her, which, attracted most guys to her-- since she wasnt attracted to them she usually just giggled and wandered away from them giving them something else to make fun of her for. She didnt care though, why should she?

while she talked to Char she smiled "you know what i mean?" she suddenly asked, they'd been complaining about homework, about how after high school they wouldnt see eachother much, Is was staying at home to go to the local academy for art, where as char, she didnt know what she was doing "what're you plans?" it was halfway through the school year, their senior year and the girl was nervous, scared. she loved char, with all of her heart in fact. There was no denying that. But-- how could she tell her? she didnt want to be rejected and ruin their friendship..

Char knew, she had no idea where she wanted to go, or what she wanted to do with her life, all she knew was that she wanted to be where Is was. How could I ever live without her? I don't even want to think about my life without her.

Char knew that Is turned down guys all the time, and saw how she looked at her, but Char wasn't sure, she was scared and didn't know how to say it. She didn't want to kill the friendship they had, though she knew how strong it was, but it was no where near as strong as the feelings she felt for Is.

"I don't know Is.. I don't want to rush into something, then it turn out something that I don't want.." She only told a tiny white lie when saying that.

she smiled and nodded, she approached char with open arms sweetly pulling her into them. It was something she could no longer avoid. she smiled and bit her lower lip slowly swaying her tail "you'll get accepted somewhere extravagent" she giggled "you always get the better end of things" she spoke with a slight accent, but, nothing to drool over

she wanted to kiss char, wanted to confess everything but-- couldnt bring herself to do it "i know what you mean.. if it hadnt been for you i wouldnt even have filled out the application" she smiled even more revealing her feline-like canines.

Char loved when Is hugged her, she got to smell that oh so sweet scent of her, and she could feel her chest against hers. Why can't I just tell her god, she means everything to me, Char had been arguing with herself about this for years now.

"I don't ALWAYS get the better end of it" Char admitted, to her Is got the better end of everything, the looks, the smarts, everything, she was considered the 'Golden Girl' and Char, well she was always the outsider to everyone.

"I really don't think I'm good at anything in particular, I just kinda float through things.." Char wanted to pull Is closer and never let go, but she knew she just couldn't.

Is smiled and laughed "yes you do. People leave you alone, they dont hover over you because you're different" she sighed "i'm really like everyone else.. but with different ears and a tail" she giggled, her laugh was enchanting, she blushed though and lightly kissed Char's cheek, they were at the park, talking, but she coudnt hold it back any longer.

"when you float through things" she smiled whispering into char's ear now "you always float with grace" she smiled and pulled back ever so slightly, looking into her eyes again.

Char laughed a little, "It's not cause you are different, it's because you are beautiful..." she said as she touched Is' tail gently. Char went a deep crimson when Is kissed her cheek, maybe... maybe.. there is something.. maybe there's a chance, her thoughts got cut off when Is brought her face back and aligned it with hers.

"I... I.." Char stuttered, she blushed even more, she didn't know what to do, what to say, and at first she wasn't sure exactly what was happening. The whole world had disappeared, it was only her and Is, nothing more, nothing less.

is smiled and moved her tail so it was in Char's hand, she never let anyone touch her like this before, not even Is, so, it was new to her, she blushed a deeper shade of red then she previously was sporting and pushed herself forward lips just inches from her best friend's she didnt know how to confess her feelings verbally, so, why not make a move?

Char knew something was up when Is let her touch her tail, she never allowed that, ever. Before Char knew it Is' lips where inches away from hers, and she couldn't resist anymore, and she kissed Is back, the kiss was more passionate then anything either had seen. They sat like that for minutes, not even talking a second to breath, finally Char pulled away.

"Wha... What was that..?" she asked, her face a fiery crimson, and tears building in her eyes. All Char's feeling started to flood out of her. She dropped her face into her hands and cried, for some reason she just couldn't stop.

"a kiss" she smiled, but, when the woman began to cry she blinked and lightly wrapped her arms around her again, this time letting her head fall onto her shoulder, tail wrapping around her "please dont cry" she begged "please-- i-i really like you" her voice trailed off, suddenly nervous, she blushed a deeper shade until the pigment began to fade she just continued to smile "i-i... i'm sorry did i upset you?"

Char breathed, and composed herself a little, she smiled at Is, "No, no you didn't upset me, these are more like tears of happiness," She paused for a minute, then continued, "I've been waiting for this moment for years, I just could never tell you that.." Char began to stutter again, then regained composure "that I love you Ishtar, I love you more than anything in this world"

"i love you too Charlie" she smiled and looked down into the woman's eyes, her glistening with pure joy "more then so many things in this life" she nodded reassuring her, sweetely wipeing her tears, kissing where they had fallen. Her tail wrapped around them each, pulling their slender bodies closer "i-i.." she giggled "i've liked you ever since we met" she admitted, it wasnt easy for her though, it was in fact very difficult, but of course she didnt avoid it any longer.

I love you too Charlie, echoed in her head, "You wha... love me too?" Char said looking deep into Is' eyes, "You really do? I just.. whoa" All she could do for the moment was hug Is like childish young girl, she held on tight, not enough to hurt her, just enough to hear her heart beat.

"I want to be where ever you are, If you stay here, I want to stay here with you" Char felt so relived to finally say it. She wasn't afraid anymore, now that She could finally express her feelings, she felt on top of the world. Char pulled Is up and started dancing under a tall thick willow tree. "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life."

Is giggled and sweetly pinned Charlie to the tree, she wrapped her arms around the other woman's neck her hips against hers, sweetly kissing her lips, tail now swaying from side to side "you have always been the most beautiful woman i've ever seen" she nodded again and pressed her lips back to charlie's it had been.

She tilted her head and pulled back looking into her eyes "Char-- you are just so amazing. i always want to be close to you-- if you want to leave this town i'll always follow you" when she spoke her voice was soothing, soft, adoring.

Mmmm, she thought to herself, as Is pinned her to the tree. "I could get use to this," Char managed to get out between the passionate kisses between the two. Char held I tight not wanting to let go ever, she could stay in this moment forever.

"No, no, I'm not going anywhere, I'll find some to get into here, you are perfect for the classes here" Char said, knowing how important art was to Is, "I'm not taking you away from anything."

she smiled and looked into her eyes "i can get into a college like that anywhere. I just want you to be happy-- and want to be with you always" she nodded again and pulled herself closer to char, feeling a light breeze wash over each of them "mm.. i'm already used to it" she giggled and closed her eyes, she was much shorter then char, but, this of course did come in handy.

"Char, i want you to always be happy. I know people here hate you-- and i hate that. i've tried to change it but of course no one listens to me" she sighed but, she pulled herself out of such a horrible mood and into her joyful one once more.

Char tilted Is' head up to face hers, she looked deep into her eyes showing her the fiery love and passion she held inside for her. "But I have you, and no one, I mean no one else matters to me, who cares what they all think, I just want to be with you."

Char couldn't take her eyes of Is, she had told her the truth, she really didn't care what other people thought anymore, just what Is thought.

she nodded and smiled pushing herself further into Char, they were now tightly pressed against one another, bundled like children in Is' large fox tail, this of course provided comfort for each of them.

Their classmates walked by laughing and muttering somethings about "about time they got together" seemingly happy for both girls, not just one over the other.

"i always want to be happy. I will always think highly of you" she giggled "always" she winked.

Char felt so comfortable in Is' arms, that she knew she never wanted to leave them, "I want to stay with you forever.." she whispered into Is' ears. When Char over heard their classmates she could help but go a fiery crimson in her cheeks, plus she didn't think that they would be so accepting of it.

Though, Char was higher in the literal sense she had always felt that Is was the stronger one, the more beautiful and talented.

Is smiled and nodded to their conversation, she bit her lower lip and looked into Char's eyes "i never want to leave you" she nodded swaying her tail and pulling her best friend and now lover to a more remote area. She shivered at the sudden change of climate. They were now situated in a more well shaded area, located by a small stream of sorts, it seemed to illuminate it's surrounding area with a dull blue glow, something truly amazing "Char? Do you want to move in with me?" she smiled and laughed slightly sitting down on a large, flat boulder "I'm moving out of my parent's house to--" she sighed trying to place it delicately "to live closer to my college campus and i want you to come with me" she was grinning now, laying on her back and staring into the sky.

As they moved to a more secluded area, Char wrapped her arms around Is as she felt her shiver due to the climate change. "Do you want my jacket?" she offered, it wasn't the greatest jacket, just a simple leather one, that she loved dearly. Char caught her breathe for a minute, the area around them illuminated and was beautiful, but it made Is seem like an angel, no no she was an angel, Char thought.

Without an hesitation, Char was done with hesitiation when it came to Is, "I'd love too" she sighed, then continued, "anything to be with you forever." She laid down beside Is, and gently kissed the side of her cheek, "and I mean anything"

is laughed and smiled looking over at char when she offered her jacket "no i'm okay" she gave her a small wink and when she laid down, char cuddled next to her, she wrapped her arms around the girl's slender body enjoying the feeling of it all "really?" she smiled even wider looking into her eyes, seeing the truth "You're amazing you know that?" she raised an eyebrow still staring down into her eyes.

"my mom found this area a while back" she mused "and told me to share it with the one i love. You're the only person i want to ever share this with" she nodded and wrappd her tail around char, pulling her in closer, if that was even possible "i'm leaving their house two days after graduation" she nodded in a simple agreement with her own statement.

Char cuddled with Is, this is the most comfortable and the closest she'd ever been with Is; It felt right, it felt perfect. Char blushed, "Amazing, Ha I'm far from it, but you on the other hand, are more than amazing" She said staring deeper.

Again Char blushed, deeper red this time. She really couldn't make out words, she was utterly speechless. "Well, I'll go when you go, I'll follow you anywhere."

Is shook her head and leaned down to Char kissing her lips again "dont argue it's not nice" she gave her best friend and lover an adoring wink before running a hand through her hair. When she smiled her lips pulled over her teeth to accentuate her pointed fangs, her eyes sparkled with absolute joy "Char? would you want to sleep in my bed or your own?" she giggled cutely before kisssing the other girl again, and again.

Char lost her breathe with every little kiss from Is, she just wanted to continually kiss her over and over. "Well, uhm would you like me to sleep in my own bed?" She giggled aimlessly. I'd love to sleep in the same bed with you, she thought to herself.
