It is around the Middle Ages, there are all manners of creatures and races. Vampires, dark elves, daemors, otherwise known as Dark angels and many more species. There is a war raging between these creatures of darkness, and those of the light force. Which side will really win? Will the Forces of Darkness overthrow the Light? Or will the Light overcome the Darkness? Or will the new Dark Rebellion rise up and destroy the dark leader Ivy and her devastating plan to destroy the world and everything in it?

(If you can't read a particular town name, please let me know by pming me and I will let you know what the name of the place is.)
This Roleplay is for me and a friend of mine from another website. We decided to move the roleplay onto this site since I'm not on the other site as much. Also the roleplay used to be a multi-player roleplay but then everyone left and it came down to just me and my friend, so I'm keeping it between us.

Username: Daemora
Character Name: Ivy (text normal)
Age: 5500 (looks like she is 18 )
Race: Demon
Side: Dark Forces
Weapon: Black Long Sword
Powers: dark magic, shadow walking, elite warrior
Bio: Ivy is a demon who was born in the middle of the war thousands of years ago. Her demonic family raised her and taught her to hate the humans and beings of light from a young age. She heeded well to their warnings that the humans would not let her live if they saw her. Her family was slaughtered one day while she was out on a mission to spy on the enemy. When she returned, she found blood stained walls and floors everywhere. Her despair and agony turned her against her own friends and she killed many demons slightly more powerful than herself until the rest feared her. She then took up the position as the leader of the Dark Forces, but she does not use her power lightly. Still slightly mad from seeing her family slaughtered, she is likely to attack or kill anyone who asks her about her past. Otherwise, she is a good leader and reminds her fellow demons that she is their leader and how she came to be so.

Weapon: duel gauntlet (a gauntlet on his left arm that has a metal blade attached on it.)
Powers: elite warrior, teleportation, fear(uses the power a little differently)
Bio: Fulcan is the only dragon on the side of the Dark Forces. When he was young, he got caught up in the war, taken away by demons to be used on the dark side. He learned much from the people who brought him up. He learned that he had nothing to fear, but if he used his power correctly, there would be much that others would have to fear from him. Fulcan is cruel and powerful, and he thinks highly of himself, often to find that there are still others more powerful than himself. He answers only to Ivy herself, and never to anyone else, thinking that no one else is worthy of hearing him speak.

Character Name: Oliviak (text in Sienna)
Age: ???? (looks 25)
Race: Deity
Side: Light Forces
Weapon: unknown
Powers: light magic, teleportation, telepath
Bio:Oliviak is no mere angel or elf or even a mere human. He is a god of light. Though gods are harder to kill than angels and demons, they can die too. He is the leader of the Light Council, and though he is not corrupted by the power of his position, he believes strongly in the thought that light and dark cannot co-exist peacefully. So far, he thinks that the war has proved this theory to be true. And every time he sees good and evil getting along, he ignores the truth and separates the cooperation. He makes all the final decisions on what the Light Council is to do, and he ultimately rules the Light Forces, by telling the leader what should be done. He is considered to be cruel in many ways, but he believes that everything he does is for the good of the world.
After losing both his daughters, Oliviak has found there is nothing left for him to protect in the Light Forces. Knowing that there is the possibility that he was wrong in prosecuting the creatures of Darkness, he has to do something, so he listens to Azriel. Together they seek out the Rebellion so that Oliviak can try to save his daughters from the clutches of Darkness.

The gods that govern the world, saw fit to give him wings, and resurrect him as an angel. After being reborn, his physical appearance does not change, but his age in years would shock most mortals. He is exceptionally skilled with a sword, but his physical strength is no match for his powerful holy arts. Though after a while, he secretly studied the dark arts and mastered the dark magic he was supposedly forbidden to learn. He guided many of the leaders of the Light Forces, and now, to this day, still does.
He was secretly working for the Rebellion for a while, finally realizing that not all of the creatures of Darkness were that bad. He has now managed to convice Oliviak, the Leader of the Light Council into his way of thinking. Getting the old immortal to follow him to the Dragon's lair to seek out the Rebellion and to help defeat the forces of Darkness.

Age: 10,000 (looks 21)
Race: Dragon (natural shape shifter)
Side: Neutral
Weapon: Dragon Sword
Powers:Dark magic(Fire and Lightning only), elite warrior, beastmaster
Bio: Celeste was once the Dragon Pirncess, thousands of years ago, long before the war had truly begun. There were only minor battles, struggles of everyday life. Celeste had watched each time, wondering why they fought. The humans, elves and angels were trying to preserve life, and the demons, vampires and daemors were trying to destroy it. The only creatures that were truly neutral then, were the dragons. She has seen the time when elves were touched by dark magic and corrupted by it, turning into the drow. She has seen many things in her lifetime, and at that time, she had been a young girl, curious about the world. When the war truly began, her father, the Dragon King, tried to end the fighting between both sides to begin with. He was slain by the two powers combined. Celeste then became the only one capable of leading her people. She brought them into hiding, in the caves of Belkan, in present day. Then, they had simply been a place to get away from the war and not be bothered. Celeste is wise in years, and very quick to judge others. She often says aloud what she thinks without thinking of the consequences. This often makes her seem rude and childish, but at times she is rather intelligent and more patient with others, giving them a chance to prove her thoughts about them wrong.

He is extremely skilled with a sword and with magic, and has mastered the shadow walking skill that most demons and vampires possess. He is also just as skilled with magic as he is with his sword. Strong and kind, and often untrusting of others. Letharios keeps his distance most of the time,. but when he really knows someone, he is likely to talk to them like a best friend. He is smart and always asking and answering the questions that most humans could never possibly comprehend. He tends to seem like he is always planning something, but in truth, he is merely always thinking and watching others, getting to know the way they act in order to get a better understanding of different kinds of people.

Character Name: Trinity (text in red)
Age: Human Years: 634 Angel Years: 19
Race: Daemor
Side: Dark
Weapon: Staff/Blade
Powers: dark magic, fear (use fear against enemy), telekinetic (use mind to move objects)
Bio: Trinity was born into an angelic family, but they were not dark angels. Her darkness was spread when a Daemor clan slaughtered her family and then took her away to become dark. They tortured her with their worst weapon... fear. They had the power to make her fear in just a thought. Using fear itself constantly with Trinity, she then feared nothing at all. Then the Daemors used whips, blades, and fists to put her in her place. She became as dark as dark could get. Her personality is unforgiving, headstrong, and vindictive. Trinity trusts no one and doesn't even remember her family.
After Ivy revealed that Trinity was basically useless in her plan for World Domination, or otherwise, The Destruction of the World, Trinity broke away from the Dark Forces. Also having been defeated by Fulcan was something of an embarrassment. But Trinity went around to all the members helping to lead the Forces of Darkness, revealing Ivy's deception, and gaining allies for her own Dark Rebellion.

Powers: Natural Mage, silent casting, intense focus(even if attacked while he is casting a spell, he will not stop casting the spell)
Bio: Nox was born a daemor and has only known the dark path he walks. He follows in the footsteps of his father, who died by the hands of an angel. Nox is cold, distant, and very untrusting. He is often silent and almost never says a word unless he has to say something important. Through intense study, he learned to cast spells without ever needing to speak, so that his opponents would never know what spell he would be using on them. He is not often caring, but sometimes he does show some sympathy towards those who are weak and cannot defend themselves. He doesn't really care much for fighting, but as things stand, he will fight to survive simply so he can live to see another day. He is extremely curious at times, and it is unknown what gender he likes. Nox tends to keep a shut mouth about his personal life. Either it is because his past is too painful, or he really just doesn't want to let anyone in.
He was a warrior in Ivy's Dark Army, but when Trinity revealed Ivy's deception, he chose to break away from the Dark Forces. He joined the Dark Rebellion, because he still wants the dark forces to win the war, but he does not want to go along with Ivy's deceptive plan.

((HUZZAH!
Jeez, Daemora, how did you get rich so fast? ^^ Anyway, it's your turn to post. I'll just copy my earlier post so you don't have to go back to Gaia.))
Hope's sense of serenity disarmed Damien's apprehension. He let out a sigh and listened to what Hope was telling him. His shock and disbelief were overthrown by her overwhelming calmness. "He wants to speak to me?" he asked, with no emotion whatsoever. Damien's anxiety was no match for Hope's peaceful state. All his emotions melted into solace. Why would Oliviak want to help us? he asked himself, though with no emotion. "Where is he now?" he asked Hope.
***
Her crimson eyes flickered over her subjects like a snake gazing upon a field of mice. Trinity saw them as nothing more than pawns in her game of monopoly. Promising them the freedom from Ivy's dream of destruction was nothing more than a distraction from her own dreams. Her sinister dream of towering over the scathed, submissive weaklings. With her sister in chains and their powers intertwined, Trinity would have the power to destroy the world. But she would rule it instead of Ivy's mindless plan. She would be on top of the world, and all of them below.
As her mind wrapped around her grotesque scheme, Syrus struggled with a weaker soldier. The dark elf was scrawny and cowardly, recoiling from the strikes Syrus would attempt to lay on him. Poor defense left his skin scarred and bruised all over. A high pitched scream that the dark elf emitted woke Trinity up from her reverie of darkness. She glowered at the elf with the utmost contempt. Before the elf could react, his severed head was hurled into the air. Syrus stared at Trinity; he didn't even see her strike the elf, much less put her hands on her staff. She whirled around and stormed out of the training grounds, making small shock waves with each step she took.

(I have a lot of one on one roleplays and I post a lot in the threads... plus I try to get the max of 500 gold from games everyday... i don't always succeed, but.... welcome to Menewsha as well.)
Hope smiled serenely as she looked at Damien. "I can take you to him." She said softly as she began to lead the way down the hall. She knew she had seen Oliviak go into a room earlier. She just had to remember which one it was. She took a deep breath and sighed, as she knocked on the door she thought was his.
Oliviak heard a knock on the door and he went to it immediately. As he opened the door, he saw Hope and Damien, and he let out a sigh of relief, smiling in a sort of apologetic way. "Ah, Damien, just the person I wanted to see. Won't you please come in? I'd like to talk to you." He said in a calm voice.
***
Ivy looked off to the side at Fulcan as he entered the room. She smiled mischievously as she stood from her throne and he bowed slightly before her. "So, Fulcan, what have you got for me now?" She asked as she looked at him.
"Well, Ivy. We've lost another member of the army. A daemor by the name of Nox." Fulcan said with a strange look on his face. "Other than that, the preparations on the machine are done. It's ready for a test fire. And the target is locked in. The Rebellion base was located earlier today." He added with a smirk.
Ivy smiled. "Good, very good. I'd like to know where our army is disappearing to, but that can wait for later. I think it's about time we eliminated the main force of resistance. The Rebellion itself." Ivy said darkly.

As Damien followed behind Hope, he felt anxiety seep back into him. He just wants to talk to you, he reminded himself over and over. He's not going to kill you... Remember you have empathy! His heat seemed to stop when Oliviak came into sight, but his empathy detected no resentment toward him. I don't understand, he thought, staring at Oliviak. How could he not be angered with me? I betrayed him! I would be angered at myself! Nevertheless, Damien followed Oliviak into the room, his anxiety soothed by his perplexity.
As if possible, the leader's room was even more elegant than any of the others'. With roses and vines carved into the head and foot board of the bed and silver sheets rising over it like a curtain. There were even beautifully carved murals embedded in the walls and a crystal chandelier that shone sparkles over the room. Damien glanced over the room for a chair, but then just decided to stand. He returned his gaze to his former leader and made a bow.
"Yes, sir Oliviak," he said, raising himself but his face still downcast.

Oliviak sighed as he turned back to look at Damien. "That's really not necessary anymore, Damien. It's only Oliviak now." He walked to the dresser, where there was a mirror, and he looked at his own reflection. "I have decided to leave the Light Council, and the Forces of Light for good. I realize now that I have done great harm to people who didn't even deserve my anger." His eyes stopped looking at his reflection, and it was obvious he was looking at the dresser in front of him.
"For so long, I have hated the beings of darkness, even though I barely knew them." He said softly. "I know that my own past suffering can not possibly justify the means by which I killed, or ordered the destruction of, so many innocent lives. But I would like for you to understand why I have felt so strongly against the darkness." Oliviak turned once more to look at Damien. In a flash of light there were two chairs in the room. "Please have a seat, I would hate to be so rude as to keep you standing while I explain myself."

Damien couldn't fathom the words that were reaching his ears. Ever since the incident with Aribiana, he always felt like he was on the wrong path. An absolutely irritating emptiness that he couldn't decipher. He had hidden it deep within his soul, rationalizing that he just missed his former lover. Damien knew he wasn't on the right path with the Light force, but neither the dark. With the Rebellion, he felt complete.
Damien couldn't fathom the words that were reaching his ears, but he felt a deep remorse radiating from his former leader. He knew that he spoke the truth. He opened his mouth to say something, anything, but closed it when Oliviak spoke once again. A flash of light blinded Damien for a second, but he quickly recovered and saw two chairs beside him. He obliged and seated himself, not taking his gaze away from the former leader.

Kain stood outside Angel's dormitory. He examined the elaborate carvings on the wood, conjuring up the will to raise his fist and knock. After an eternity passed, Kain's hand quickly rose up and his knuckles tapped the oak wood once; the knock barely audible to even himself. He stepped back and waited patiently, staring at the gap between the floor and the door below.

(( Sorry it took so long to get back to this... I was trying to work out my Oliviak part of the post. xP ))
Angel heard a soft knock on the door and she spun around on the spot, in a swift, but graceful manner. She had a feeling that she knew who was at her door, and it made her smile. As she opened the door, she saw Kain and her smile brightened even more. "Kain, is there anything I can help you with?" She asked. She had been doing absolutely nothing in her room, and the simple thought of being able to do anything at all was a welcome distraction.
***
Oliviak stood behind the second chair at the moment, letting out a deep sigh. "There is much to explain. Too much to go into full detail, but I will try." He said and took a calming breath. "You see, even immortals can be tempted and corrupted. Sethir was one of the oldest immortals, but he had become corrupted by darkness. I learned it much too late. I, on the other hand, I had been corrupted by love. Love for a mortal woman named Liza. We had even married in secret.
"She gave birth to twins. Aria and Selene. The three most precious people in my life. Unfortunately, Sethir learned that Aria and Selene were somehow my children. He took them away, and he was going to give them away to the daemor clan. At the time, I knew that Dilas was the leader of the clan, but it turns out that Sethir was the true leader, and that Dilas was his son.
"Sethir had been planning a take-over, as I realized later. After I discovered that he was going to give my daughters away to the daemor clan, I simply couldn't stand back and let it happen. It was then that I killed him by my own hand. Sethir, the oldest immortal of that time, he turned to dust, and I was the one that killed him. Then the daemors attacked the castle, killing Liza. I knew that the daemors hadn't been planning an alliance, but rahter a take-over.
"I tried to get Aria and Selene out of there, but when I heard a scream, I discovered that Dilas had captured Selene. I couldn't do anything lest they kill her. At that time, my daughters were more important to me than anything in the world. I couldn't end her life that way. Ever since that day, I've hated all dark beings, though my hatred was mostly towards daemors.
"If I had known then what I do now, the way I see things as they are now, I would never have started the campaign against the darkness. Nor would I have started the Light Council." Oliviak glanced at Damien. "I can't change the past, so I would like to apologize to you for any and all of the wrongs I have caused you. If I could change any of it, I would in a heartbeat, but unfortunately that is not possible. Not even for me."

No sooner did Kain knock on the door was he met with Angel's beaming face. He couldn't help but muster a small smile to return hers. He gave a brief bow to her and said, "Greetings, Angel. I have come to confide in you on the account of Oliviak, Leader of the Light Council, presence." As he played his cello out in the corridor, he had heard members of the Rebellion talking amongst themselves about the arrival of the Leader of the Light Council. Still outside her door, Kain lowered his eyes to the ground and said, "I know that it troubled you before, but I am curious to why he has come..."
***
As Damien listened to Oliviak's story, he saw reflections of himself in him. Although he could never compare himself to a powerful immortal like him, he also had had forbidden love with another, and lost it to a higher power. And now, as he thought about it, he was astounded that Oliviak would even want to speak to him. Damien had admired him very much when he was on the Light force, but to have a private matter exchanged to him would be unthinkable. But here he was, with Oliviak who is confession his remorse to him and only him. It was the first time that Damien saw Oliviak in submission.
Damien recalled his knowledge of Sethir. He never knew of him while he was alive, but he seemed just like a black smudge in history. He was dumbfounded when Oliviak confessed to have killed Sethir. Damien felt as if he was a priest listening to a confessional. In the Light force, there was even a class of the Light force's history that circled around Oliviak. In the classes, they were taught that Oliviak was like a god that could do no wrong. But now that these words were reaching his ears, he felt like he didn't know the leader at all. So much information was rushing at him at once, Damien's head was whirling.
As Oliviak mentioned the wrongs he had caused Damien, the knot in his chest tightened. Oliviak was apologizing to him? It all seemed so unreal; defying all the laws of authority. Damien nodded to Oliviak and said, "You need not apologize to me. I completely understand and forgive you. I... I'm very sorry about what happened to you, but I do believe you should get a second chance. With you on the Rebellion's side, we will put an end to this war for good." Damien smiled at the former leader. "But I have one question. Where are Selene and Aria now?"

Angel let out a sigh. "It seems that Oliviak has had some kind of change in mind. I know that Azriel was a double agent for us. But seeing Oliviak here was a surprise to me as well. I saw him walk into the main cavern. I can only assume that they're here to help. I would hate to believe that they are here simply to destroy us." She said softly.
**
Oliviak moved around the chair and took a seat himself now. He looked, if anything, more stressed than he ever had before. "Selene was taken away by the daemor named Dilas. I believe that Selene is now none other than the daemor known as Trinity. She must have been turned, and joined on the dark side of things." He let out a sigh.
"A short while after you and Hope left, Trinity attacked the castle. I didn't recognize her. But during her attack, Aya, or better known by me as Aria, was taken away. I believe Trinity brought her to Ivy. As for their current locations, I don't know about Trinity, but I believe Aria is probably still at the Dark Castle." He let out a sigh.
"I want to save them, both of them. If I even possess enough power left to convert Trinity back into Selene. And Aria, I want to protect her, as I have protected her for years. But I can't do that if the Light Council looks up to me as their leader. If I try to do something to help Trinity, they will see it as a sign of treason, and then I too will be hunted."
"After speaking with Azriel about the Rebellion, as I figured he had known about them all along. I discovered how I might possibly be able to do what I could to save them. Aria and Selene are all I have left. The only thing in the world that could possibly keep me going, and they aren't even close to me anymore."
**
Aria sat in the lonely bed chamber, looking out at the scenery of the land. It was dark here, even the landscape was dark and depressing. She sighed softly as she stood from the chair and walked over to the door. Walking the halls wouldn't be too bad. So long as she didn't try to run away. Otherwise, Ivy would just the demons after her, and she didn't want to be hunted by demons. But she wanted nothing more than to go to her sister. To try and make things right. She wanted to help Trinity become Selene again. How could she do that if her sister was nowhere nearby?
Suddenly she started feeling dizzy. Darkness swallowed her vision, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on the cold stone floor. Her thoughts were fuzzy, and her vision seemed dull in some way. As if all clarity was gone. She tried to grasp her thoughts, but they seemed too far out of reach, like as if she was trying to catch air itself. Aria looked around the room with a dull, emotionless face. She knew where she was, but somehow the room looked bigger than it had before.
It took her a moment before she could remember how to move her body, but she finally managed to get up and walk over to a full-length mirror. In it, she saw that her reflection was that of her younger, less active self. She could hardly find anything wrong with that, her mind was losing focus again. Like there was nothing for her to do but wait to be commanded to do something.

Kain's straight expression didn't change as Angel explained, but it concealed his surprise and confusion. "It doesn't seem natural for someone with such high authority would have a change of heart now..." He paused in thought, staring at the foot of the door. "I wonder how the rest of the Light force will accept this." Kain returned his eyes to Angel and added, "Do they even know about this?"
***
Damien listened intently to the words coming out of Oliviak's lips, but then lost all train of thought when he mentioned Trinity.
Trinity... the daemor... the daemor with the sea of rage in her soul...
He remembered how serious the damage that was executed by her utmost wrath. The pain... he could not even think about... It was too intense, too profound for even the imagination to fathom.
Trinity is... Selene?
Trinity is one of the commanders of the Dark force. A top one, in fact, with not only rage, but great power as well. The thought of this sinister, hateful wretch being Oliviak's daughter was absolutely inconceivable. Damien was at lost for words and thoughts, but he listened in more.
Aya... the soulless servant of Oliviak...
Damien had known Aya for as long as he could remember, but there was nothing to know. She was a blank canvas that did whatever she was ordered to. He remembered that Oliviak treated her no differently than other servants. It was all but understandable...
Aya is... Aria?
Damien realized that he was holding his breath and let it out in a sigh. Damien looked up at his former leader and gave a sheepish smile. "This is a lot to take in... Just meeting with you in private is something I can't believe." He looked down at his lap and noticed that he was clenching his fists. He released them and folded them in his lap. "I... I'll do whatever it takes to return your daughters to you. I know how it is to lose someone you care for and... I won't allow that to happen to you." Damien closed his eyes and smiled to himself. "No matter the past, the Rebellion needs your help. And we'll help you too. But... what about the Light Council? How did they respond to this?"

Oliviak shook his head with a sigh. "The Light Council doesn't know about any of this. I left without notice. When they figure that out, they'll select a new leader. That is how it is." He looked at Damien, a smile forming on his face for once. "Either way, I'm here now."
**
Angel shook her head. "I doubt the Light force even realizes that Oliviak is gone right now. When they find out, there may be a panic among the Council, but they'll get over it. They usually always do." She said softly. "It is strange for him to show up now of all times. I can't help but keep my guard up around him. I've known him to be a ruthless hunter of dark beings. But he showed up here and did nothing to us. There is a small chance that something very big changed him. What that is, I don't know."
**
"Ah, Aya, you've reverted back to your old self, excellent. You'll be much more obedient that way. Now, come with me, and stay close. We have work to do." Ivy said with a mischievous grin. The young angel followed her. Ivy looked back at Fulcan who was following at a distance. Ivy was uninterested in what the dragon wanted, so she led the angel into the dungeon where the magitechnology was. "Now, sit on that seat right there." Ivy said to the girl.
Aya walked over to the seat on the machine and sat in it, no complaints or questions asked. Somewhere in the realization that Trinity, or rather, Selene, was gone, Aria had reverted back into her counter-self, Aya.
Ivy pointed at Fulcan. "Go prepare the machine, will you." She was obviously a little anxious. But she watched the dragon obey. Ivy closed her eyes and started laughing. Soon, soon all of the rebellion would be dead, or at least, those who were still in that stupid little base. "The canon is ready, Ivy." Fulcan said simply. "Fire. Send those blasted traitors to hell!" She yelled, her laughter turning maniacal.
**
Nox looked up at the sky as a large beam of light flashed across it, heading for the southern end of the continent. It was none of his problem, what the beam was for, especially if it was not meant to hit him. But the earthquake that resulted several minutes later was a bit bothersome. He realized that it could only mean one thing. That Ivy was finally ready to use the magitechnology. And whatever the target was, it was only the beginning.
His black wings flapped harder so that he could stay in the air. He had been flying for a while now, searching for the Dark Rebellion. Finally, he saw something below that looked like dark creatures training. Or at least, probably trying to recover from the earthquake. He hovered over the area for a while until he landed among them.

Damien let out a long breath and looked at Oliviak. "This all comes as a surprise to me, but I assure you this was a good decision..." He returned Oliviak's smile. "I just hope the Light Force doesn't hold this as a grudge..." Damien made a sheepish smile. "Sorry to ruin the moment," he said, scratching the back of his head. "It's expected though... I mean, in their eyes you are a traitor. Or they could suspect that we kidnapped your, or something..." He shrugged and said, "I really appreciate you telling me this, and for joining this side. I can say with no ego that we'll have a mighty hand to..." Damien's sentence was cut off by a slight vibration in the ground. He looked down and the little vibration soon turned to trembling. The glimmering chandelier above shook violently, dropping several shining stones to the ground. As candles fell to the ground, the little flames turned into a full-fledged fire across the velvet carpet. Damien got out of his seat and gawked at the flames consuming the carpet like a wild fire. He backed into the corner, helpless against the licking flames.
***
As Angel talked, Kain noticed, from the corner of his eye, the nightstand shaking vibrantly. The shaking reached his legs and he stared down at the floor. He looked up at Angel and stepped out of the doorway of her dorm. He quickly ran into his dorm. Kain returned with his cello case behind his back, and said to Angel, "Something has happened." Gaping cracks formed along the cavern walls, and soon spread to the floor. The ground shook terribly and Kain grasped onto the wall for support. It was as if an explosion had occurred beneath them, but then the ceiling began to cave in. Kain clutched Angel in his arms and retreated to a corner against the wall of the corrridor where a wide, thick stone leaned against it. He crawled underneath it as rocks tumbled upon it, but it withstood under the pressure. The whole hallway soon disappeared under the shards of stone. Both Kain and Angel were buried underneath it with only the rock against the wall to protect them.
"Angel," spoke Kain in a soft tone. "Are you alright?"
***
As he sprinted down the hallways in utter anger, Sin collapsed as the ground began to shake uncontrollably. When he fell to the ground, his mind altered to his normal state. Looking around in confusion, he felt small shards of rock fall onto his head. Sin looked up and saw crevices forming in the ceiling. He let out a gasp and pressed his hands against a metal torch. The silver surface crawled over his skin until he was completely covered in it. The bad thing about being metal is that the joints, like the limbs, rubbed against each other when in motion, making it difficult to move. Sin lifted up a large shard of stone and slowly crawled under it. The silver covering his skin would prevent any damage whatsoever.
***
In the short amount of time that the Dark Rebellion has been together, Trinity could already sense that the subjects of her legion were powerful and clever. They were learning quickly, which was a major benefit for the short time there was to prepare for the upcoming battle. And as more dark creatures accumulated, the more sure that Trinity became for their success. As she sparred with Syrus, she was briefly blinded by a light that tore across the sky. She blinked, recovering from the light and watched it recede into the sky. "Magitechnology," she muttered. If it came from Ivy, then it must be heading toward one of the bases, she thought. "How queer, it did not hit us."
"Do you suppose it should have?" asked Syrus, staring at the light. Trinity did not answer, for she saw a figure hovering above them. She cautiously aimed the blade of her staff at the figure as it lowered to the ground.
"What is it you came for?" she asked, menacingly, approaching the man. His face was one of that she'd seen when she was part of the Dark Force. "I presume you are from Ivy's clan," spat Trinity. All of the clan turned to stare at Nox, ready to battle.

(( Sorry for the absence, been extremely busy lately. I barely had any time to get online at all... so also making this my longest post yet... ^ ^;; ))
Nox shook his head as he looked at Trinity. "You presume correct, but I have left that world behind." He said simply. "My father wanted me to follow the path of darkness, not to follow Ivy until the destruction of the world. I have no intentions of letting her accomplish that." He said as he looked at the entire Dark Rebellion. "You may think what you like of me, but I speak no lies. I have come here to join you." He gave Trinity a slight bow, though still keeping eye contact with her. When he recomposed himself he kept a serious expression on his face.
***
Angel was shocked by the sudden eathquake, and she was even more thankful that Kain had acted so quickly. She had been temprarily paralyzed by the shock, and she would have been crushed had it not been for him. She smiled at him and nodded her head slightly. "Yes, I am fine." She said softly. "Thank you Kain, I fear I may have been lost if it weren't for you." The words were spoken even softer than before, but she was certain he had heard them. And if not, she could just have to repeat them again later. She looked around and noticed they were trapped in the corner Kain had pulled them into. She let out a sigh. "Celeste and the others will be coming shortly, I'm sure."
***
Oliviak leapt into action, forcing the fire to change into ice, which kept melting as soon as it appeared. He cursed inwardly and moved to the corner, grabbing Damien by the arm and pulling him out of the room. Thankfully he saw that Hope had been standing outside the door the whole time and he handed Damien over to her. "I need to check on Azriel, and from there, see what has happened." He told her. "Take care of him." Oliviak finished and rushed off.
Hope took a hold of Damien as Oliviak rushed off. She let out a slight sigh and then smiled. All the the rocks that had fallen from the ceiling had fallen around her. Thankful that she had placed a barrier around herself, the ceiling had been forced to fall only so far and then get stuck in a new position. Hope moved in front of Damien. "Damien, are you ok?" She asked softly.
***
Violet awoke suddenly with the violent shaking, hiding in her room until it finally stopped. She had heard a lot of things happening on the outside of the door, so she went to check it out. The ceiling of the cave had collapse in many places, making it hard to tell which direction to go. She sighed, thankful that her curse had been removed. At least now she would not go crazy from a wide dispersal of emotions. This was a time where she would need to have control of her emotions, if she were to help anyone. So she ran off, in search of anyone that may be trapped or hurt. In the hopes of helping out.
***
Celeste jumped from her bed chamber and ran through the wide open cavern where the dragon village was. Something big had just happened, and it was not something good. If it was Ivy's magitechnology, then they were all screwed. If she was ready to fire that thing on anything then there were big problems ahead. She ran into the main laboratory caverns, and watched the others running around frantically. The only person who seemed even remotely calm was Letharios, who was watching and trying to reorganize the others. She ran over to him. "Letharios, what has happened?" She asked, panting a little from her run.
Letharios glanced at Celeste and let out a sigh. "It seems as though Ivy has finally tried testing the magi-canon. It would seem though, that her target was not her biggest threat. She aimed not for the Light Force, but for the Rebellion base." He said simply. "Angel will need to hear of this. Many lives were lost in that blast."
Celeste stared at him in horror. "Then we must find Angel and the others right away, lest they be hurt or lost." She sighed. "I will gather a troop of soldiers to traverse the caves and find any damage. Even to find survivors and those that may have become trapped with the wreckage. Letharios, stay here and get that magi-tech working!" She commanded as she ran out into the main cavern. Thankfully, many of the soldiers were already alert and at attention. She smiled and then gave them the orders. "Get working on it!" She yelled.
***
Mars totally freaked when the ground started shaking, and even after it was done, he couldn't calm himself down. He was only half-vampire, and he could die much more easily than his sister could. In fact, it was perfectly possible for other vampires to feed off of him if they were desperate enough. As his little twin sisters had always done. He had secured himself a hiding place deep in the corner of the cave as the ceiling collapsed all around. He tried to remain calm, but it was hard, so he simply had closed his eyes to avoid seeing anything. As if he could make it all go away simply from not seeing it.
***
Ivy was laughing hysterically after the ground finished shaking. "MAGNIFICENT!! SUCH EXTRAORDINARY POWER!!" Her laughing continued, with Fulcan watching her silently. The poor little angel, Aya, was simply staring into space as she had been when Ivy had found her in the room. "Think of the possibilities. THE END OF ALL CREATION!" Her laugh turned manic.
***
Azriel felt the Earth itself shake. He shot up from his brief sleep, having seen, even in his dreams, exactly what had just happened. Ivy, the crazy demon witch, had completely obliterated any hopes for the Rebellion. At least, for those people who were still in the base, which was no longer there. Reduced to nothing more than a pile of ashes and rubble. There would have been absolutely no survival from anyone. Was this the power of the magi-technology? If so, then the whole world was certainly in danger. He quickly got up and dressed himself, there was no time for rest, not when there was a crazy power weilding demon on the loose. Ivy needed to be stopped at all costs, no matter what was to happen next.

((Awesomeness post! Wow you have eleven characters, including Fulcan.))
As the world seemed to collapse around them, Damien answered Hope's question with nervous whimpers and grunts and trembling words. He stared at the walls caving in but not standing against the shield that Hope had set around them. He sighed with relief, and looked at Hope. "What's the meaning of this? Were we just... attacked?" Damien's face crinkled with anxiety at the thought of it. He couldn't decide whether it could be the Dark or the Light Force. It seemed reasonable for the Light Force to attack since their leader had betrayed them, and it could be the Dark Force because... well, they're just like that. What amazing power, he thought in awe and shock. I wonder who could have such power as to take down a whole base... Damien's heart sank.
***
Trinity scrutinized Nox carefully. Many of Ivy's clan members have been abandoning their ways to join hers, but he was a loyal member of hers, so it arose suspicion towards him. Although she was quite dubious of him, Trinity knew that he would be a definite good addition to the Dark Rebellion. She lowered her guard and asked, "Do you know of anything about Ivy's use of magitechnology just now?" After thinking for another moment, she said, "For now, you shall be just another addition. You shall be under supervision, but know that you have the potential for the position of a commander. So don't disappoint me." Trinity turned away from him and stormed off to her bed chamber.
This is quite excellent, she thought as she lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. With the Rebellion out of the picture, it gives me a stronger advantage in defeating the Light Force at its weakest point. Trinity grinned to herself and saw Ivy in her mind, laughing eccentrically at the power she had. You just set yourself up for defeat, Ivy. Your assistance will be awarded.
Your power will soon be in my hands...
***
As if bewildered by Angel's words, Kain stared at her for some time, but did not respond. She had saved him in numerous ways, but this was the first time that he had saved her. Deciding not to make too much of it, he stayed put until he could no longer hear any more shards accumulation above. Only few rays of light reached them, making it nearly impossible to make out anything beyond a few inches away. He looked around the little space they had for any openings, but none whatsoever. Kain frowned and tried peering towards the directions of the rays of light, but they were haphazard and represented nothing more than a crevice amongst the pile of ash and stone.
Kain felt for any cracks on the surface of the large shard that was shielding them from the remnants of the cavern. There were many, and potentially dangerous, crevices in the stone. He knew that it would not hold out long as long it stood beneath the force of a hundreds of pounds. He adjusted his cello case against one of the openings by his side and squeezed his hand through the gap between the shard and his cello case. Kain mustered as much energy as he could into his hand and emitted a bright streak of lightning from his fingers. Bracing himself against the tumble of rocks that forced against his cello case, he placed one arm against his cello case and one foot against the rock to hold it in piece, and his other arm was still wrapped around Angel's shoulders. After the rocks had settled in place after the blast, Kain once again shot lightning out of his hand once again in the same direction and held the stone and case in place once again.
After repeating this process a few more time, Kain stuck his head out and saw a large gaping hole amongst the pile of rocks. Clutching the shoulder straps of the cello case, Kain also grasped Angel's arm and said, "I made an opening for us. We're going climb out of this pile, carefully. Follow my lead." With that, he slipped out from under the stone, holding Angel's arm on the way. It wasn't a straight upward climb toward the opening, but it was a rather steep way. Whenever he heard or saw a stone falling toward them, as they often did, Kain raised his cello case to protect the two of them and made it slid downward away from Angel. Before climbing another step, he would force his foot through crevices, making sure that his foot would not slip or break under the force.
After a good half-hour doing this, the two of them finally reached the opening, although struggling to grasp a sturdy rock to lift themselves from the hole. Kain stood up and gazed upon the stone wasteland remnants of the dragon caverns. Using his extensive hearing, Kain struggled to hear for any nearby survivors. Whatever survivors there were, they were silenced by the accumulation of the rocks. He couldn't imagine the casualties, and what little survivors there will be. His thoughts went to all of his companions that had followed with him throughout this time. Kain turned to Angel, waiting for any suggestions on what to do now.
