Brief summery:

Monster is a storyline which originates in Germany about a Kenzou Tenma( a doctor) who happens to save the life of a Johan( child) who grows up to a serial murderer.
The serial murder er is part of a set of twins who have wandered about and been in different foster situations. Anna/Nina his twin sister is the one who originally shots Johan as a child.
When the twins are taken to the hospital, Anna/Nina is deeply distrubed and they don't know she's the one who tried to kill her twin brother. She is in a state of deep trauma.
People in the hospital are murdered and Kenzou Tenma's girlfriend leaves him thinking he killed them. This is how Johan gets started back up as a serial murderer.
After the Kenzou Tenma discovers these details and how he saved this serial murderer, he decides to set out on a personal mission to kill Johan himself.
Along the way, he picks up a "rescued" child and meets up with the twin sister of the serial murderer. Her name tends to either be Nina Fortner or Anna Leibert.
Kenzou Tenma must often go into hiding due to being falsey accused of crimes he didn't commit.

I like the art style and I think the plot is well written. That it's located in Germany is another plus for me because I'm German( my mom is from Germany).
It comes on Monday night 11 PM EST on Sci Fi.

I watched only the second epi online. Very hard to find sometimes because of it's name. No tv at home. :P

But yeah, this style is very nice.

I started watching the series a couple of years ago and thought it was amazing. However, due to my supply being cut off, I had to stop around episode fifteen. :/

I'm going to go ahead and move this over to the Manga/Anime Forum. :)

Finally someone else who likes this series! When I mention it anywhere else, I imagine people giving me a WTF look. I guess to some people it's too slow or boring or maybe it isn't as flashy as other series. I dunno.

But I really love the storyline, although I missed a few episodes so I ended up getting lost. But it's amazing how so many people are connected in that series just because of one person.

I been watching it on youtube under the companys name and I love it. I just wish they could put up more but i can save up and get it

I definitely think that Monster is one of those series, be it manga or anime, that didn't get the credit it deserves. Such a great story from beginning to end. And surprise, the characters looked different and didn't have that classic pointiness that a lot of manga/anime characters have.
