Okay, so in french class we're going to have to create our own mixture of animals! We can only make one of course and we have to choose it's habitats, what it eats and make interesting facts about it. I for one, made a cat/elephant/rhinoceros hybrid thing xD
I could only imagine it in photoshop x]

If you had this assignment, what animals would you mix together?

Would you want to do this assignment in the future?

I would mix a dove, fox, and a cat. It would live in the forest, up in the trees where it's little house is. It would eat mainly plants and mice. As for interesting facts..I'd have to think about that one. I wouldn't mind doing this project in the future. It seems really fun. In fact I think I'll do it to practice my Japanese ^^

That's creative and sounds fun. I would choose a cheetah/panda/hippo animal. It would be an omnivore and live in the jungles of Asia. Hmm... thats kinda hard for me to imagine.

Ohh, we had to do something like that once. I remember mixing an octopus, a tiger, and a sheep if I recall correctly...

I would do what Full Metal Alchemist did. I would make a chimera and blame it all on science. I mean, A human and a dog or cat...or whatever animal with a human. Who wouldn't want to see that? Though I think that is pretty cruel to both of them. So I wouldn't do it and I probably wouldn't ever. I wouldn't even want to do it. Watching it was enough...

If would mix a large cat like a tiger or lion with that of a dolphin, so it would be like a real living sea lion.

Why on earth do you have to do this for FRENCH?
Anyway, i think i'd have a crocodile, crossed with a dog, cat or horse.

lol its to practice what you can describe right?? I had to do that in science one time and it was fun. : p
I think I would probably mix an eagle with a deer and hope it doesn't turn into a cannibal XD It just sounds elegant to me although it is sort of an odd combination. It could be an omnivore though and live in the hills by the meadow but it could ... uhmm.. sorta just run then fly XD i think i played mario too much >> <<

Ooooo I had to do something like this for science also... (My French teach doesn't actually teach us much of anything so we never do stuff like this.)

In my biology class we had to create a habitat including a foodweb with at least 5 food chains. There had to be 10 original/imaginary animals, and 10 original/imaginary plants.

My favorite animal that my group and I came up with were these things we eloquently dubbed 'Crawlers'. They were basically a combination of snake, scorpion, crocodile, Alien (from AvsP), shark... It also had two humanoid arms that ended in 4 digits like fingers. These fingers had long, needly like (long, thin, circular, and sharply tipped) claws. Despite all of its brutal appearance it is reclusive and is a scavenger; it feeds off the dead carcasses of anything (plant or animal) and the only thing it will kill is the Kool-aid Cactus (another of the original plants from our planet). It lived on our imaginary planet Evasis in the desert created by the tungsten mountains. Oh! And it was completely blind :3

that sounds interesting for a french class xD

I think I would mix a crocodile (tail), bat (wings), polar bear (head), and a Wolf (body)

i supposed it would live in the mountains in a cave xD

i never did this kind of assignment before though and I dont know were I would do this project in the future though lol unless I took some courses that made me do it or my job did xD

Hahahaha, I think I would have enjoyed getting this assignment.

It's hard to pick animals, though. How about an octopus and a crow? It'd be terrifying--a keenly intelligent critter with eight arms to manipulate objects, excellent camouflage, flight, and grudges it never forgets. It'd be drawn to urban areas...

I would have enjoyed this in French class. I remember we had a text book that related animal sounds to French. Like, the rooster says "Cocorico". I would have gotten such a kick out of trying to figure out what my animal would say ...

I'm big on flamingoes and birds, so I probably would have made something that started with a flamingo, even though they don't really say much themselves.

What's that have to do with French? o.o

In my class, we wrote stories all in French and stuff like that. THAT ACTUALLY MADE SENSE. This makes no sense. None.

I would mix a cat with a lizard or something like that. Basically it would be a cat that was cold blooded that lived in forested tropical areas that eats anything from insects to small birds and mammals. It would have scales but have a cat body shape.

A donkey a moose and turtle :D

That sounds like fun :3 In my French class in freshman year, we had to draw a house and have at least 50 items in, around or attatched to the house that we'd learned. Then present it in a flowing oral essay....

I would love to have this project, it sounds soooo fun. Instead we get to do research essays on places that we will NEVER go to...It's like U.S. History only French History and French Colonies in Maghreb and Mediterraneans... No drawing for us anymore.

-steals your project and runs away with it-

-realizes that I'd just be doing the work for you-

-depressed-

I'd mix an octopus, a horse and a bear. It would be carnivorous, and would live in forests and grasslands. I could only imagine what that would look like O.o

I would give a baby panda's head to a kitten's body.
And then useless little tiny budgie wings.

It makes me "AWH!" just thinking about it.

^^
