Cadynce had been at the school for over a week. And she knew that she would hate it here. What few classes there were were conducted at night out on the lake. The pink-haired girl shivered as she thought of the boat swaying and tipping over, sending her tumbling into the watery abyss. She knew that she wouldn't be found. She was simply too small.

"You're staring into space again.." Kire said in a quiet voice, tapping the girl's shoulder, then recoiling his hand after a second. He didn't like contact, close contact especially. It just didn't work out with him.

Cadynce jumped and turned around to face Kire. He was a good friend but sometimes he interrupted her. She also was the only female that he could stand to be around.
" Just thinking about classes. Did you hear about how it would be done?" she asked him, taking a step back. He was just a little bit shy. She ran her fingers through her pink hair and sighed.
"There's going to be deep water and moonlight. I don't like it at all." she whispered. Kire knew very little about her life before the school and Cadynce wasn't ready to tell him either.

"Oh...You don't have to take the class. They can't force you to." Kire said, looking out at the boats, "They have railings you can hold onto. I have to retake the class, the boats are safe." the white haired boy said, shrugging slightly. He had been the school for about 2 years now.

"You don't understand. I have no choice on anything relating to school," she said, looking around her. She had to take the class but she knew that she would fall into the water to her death. She sighed and looked out the window as well. Cadynce looked up at Kire and tilted her head slightly to the right. She bit her bottom lip then returned her gaze to the boats.

Kire sighed, "Nothing's going to happen.." he reassured and walked towards the docks, currently not crowded with people. "The water has nothing bad in it." he said, pulling his shirt off ((He enjoys swimming...and wears swimming trunks under his pants. XDD)) and then his boots and pants. "See?" Kire said, smiling a little, walking to the shore, then ran across the dock, jumping off and into the water.

Cadynce squealed and ran out to the the dock's edge when Kire didn't immediately resurface.
"I told you this was a bad idea!" she exclaimed, looking into the water below.

Kire broke the surface and looked at the other, "Really? It wasn't that bad at all." he said, propping his arms onto the edge of the dock and looking up at Cadynce. "Its warm actually."It is a wonder the boy wasn't tanned, being that he spends so much time in the sun. But he does usually wear long shirts and jeans.

Kiely walked into the school upset. Her parents left her here for no complete reason at all. She knew that this school would not make anyone like her. Her parents speed away, not even saying goodbye. She was a little late for the school year, but only a week. Kiely looked around for somewhere to set down her things. Of course she did not have a big bag of clothes, she only had a handbag with a sun on it. It held, a toothbrush, a shirt, pants, a belt, underwear, toothpaste, tennis shoes, bathing suit, and some socks. She sighed and decided to keep it on her shoulder. Kiely walked down into the docks looking for somewhere to relax. Kiely saw two people one on the docks, and one in the water. Instead of socializing with them, she sat near them, rolled up her pants, took off her shoes and socks, and dumped her feet in the water. The water was cold and it sent shivers down her spine.

Kire looked at the girl who walked onto the dock and dipped her feat into the water. He moved his arms away from the dock and swam a little out towards the water. "You're new?" he asked, cocking his head slightly to the side, his white hair sticking to his face.

She looked at the boy and then said," Yes as new as anyone could be." She smiled and then put a strand of her hair behind on ear. She looked at the water and wondered what creatures lurked below. She shivered again and then said," The waters cold here."

"He's not new. He's been here for a couple years now," Cadynce chimed in. She ran her pink-painted fingernails through her long, pink hair and smiled at the girl.
"I'm Cadynce. Welcome to Wonderland," she said with a smile.

"Not really,ah. Yes welcome to Wonderland. Where everybody can't be late and is as mad as a Hatter." Kire laughed a little and dove back into the water. Only to come back up a few minutes later, holding up a slimy-looking creature. "I found a slug."

Cadynce jumped up and ran to the other side of the dock.
"Kire! You know I don't like those things. They're a bad omen. Now put it back, please!" she exclaimed. Kire may have been her best friend but he sure irritated her sometimes. Then, against her better judgement, she jumped into the water. She stayed under until she reached Kire. Then she took the slug from his hand and, with a look of disgust on her perfectly created face, released it back into the water. Then she glared at Kire.

"Come on.." Kire said, in faked kiddish tone, then he smirked, dunking her under and swimming back to the dock. He had very little people skills and did things without thinking. All the time. Its a wonder that Candynce was even his friend.

(It is Cadynce not Candynce. Geez Brat.))

Cadynce swam back up to get air then scowled at her friend. Then she swam after him. She reached the dock after he did, of course, but she had gotten back onto the dock before him.
"Hah! You thought you could beat me!" she said, laughing.

Kire glared, "That just means you have more muscle strength man-arms." he insulted smiling and getting back onto the dock, only to be pushed off again.

Cadynce giggled and ran away from the docks, her skirt and tanktop completely soaked. She swung her head back and forth, the water flying everywhere. The girl turned and looked back at the docks then smiled and ran inside the school.

((Of course I did. It's more fun that way.))

Kire spit out the water, and dove back down, retreaving the slug again, then getting out of the water. He ran to the girl's side of the housing (dorms, or like those cabins at camps) and snuck into Cadynce's room, placing the slug under her pillow, then running out to get his clothes from the dock.

Cadynce entered her side of the cabin and walked straight to her closet. She rustled through the clothes until she found almost an identical outfit. She switched clothing then left the cabin. She stretched and ran back toward the dock, barefoot this time as well.
"Kire! I know you did something! Now what did you do?!" she yelled, her voice getting softer as she got closer to him.

Kire was in the process of tugging his jeans back on, then looked behind his shoulder to see Cadynce. "I did nothing my friend." he lied very skillfully. "I just got out of the water and getting back into my clothes. Is this a problem?"

"It is. You know better than to put jeans on in front of me. You know that I'll just destroy them," she said with a giggle. She poked her friend in the stomach then ran off to his cabin, making it obvious that was where she was going.

"I only have one pair left pants-destroyer!" Kire exlaimed, laughing a little and pulled on his shirt. He walked over to his own side of the cabins and walked in. His cabin had only 2 other people in it and he loved the privacy.

Cadynce had hidden in his closet and had his last pair of jeans in her hand. In the other hand, there was a pocket knife. She smiled to herself and brought the scissors to the hem and cut a heart into the bottom.

Then she heard him enter and pushed herself even further back in the closet, hoping he wouldn't find her.
