Intro

Dreams, they’re such a fleeting thing. There one moment gone the next. It is said that people will dream 4 to 6 times every night, but where do those dreams go every night when we’re done with them? A group of people are about to find out when their dreams just did not want to leave them behind.

Story

A group of people, complete strangers experienced what would happen if their dreams decided that they were not ready for them to leave. How is this? You may ask, well keep quiet and I shall tell you.

Our story takes place in many different places, but one place all at the same time. You, my friend, are the star of this show but you don’t even know what happened to you yet. Hush, hush, I know. Hold your horses; I’m getting to that part.

Days and nights go by, just like they’re supposed to. You dream, you have nightmares, but they always end once your eyes open to greet the morning. Not today though. Last night, your dreams were reaching out for you. They were not ready to let you go just yet. You went with them to the place where all dreams go when they fade away to be just a memory.

Aislinn is what this realm is known as and it is both as beautiful as dreams, but with the ugliness of the nightmares all wrapped up into one big package. Aislinn has recently been attacked by the nightmares. They are holding a revolt and the dreams need help. That is why they have brought you here.

You have been one of the few summoned forth to save this land and bring harmony back to the plains once again. How are you going to do this? Well, that’s up to you. You want to get out and go home? You may find those who can help you here, but remember they need help too. Or, let me ask you this. Are you going to want to leave?

Before you answer any of those questions, however, you may want to watch your back. More than that really. Watch your back, the shadows, and trust no one. The nightmares have caught wind of your arrival and they are too, seeking out your aid for this battle. You are a part of a great legacy. One that will change the tide of this evenly fought war. Both sides seek your help so whom shall you pick? Or will you have a choice? Because in dream land, remember, not all as it appears to be.

Ok, I’m breaking these rules into 3 sections. First, ‘So You Want to Join’, this is where you go if you are interested in joining the roleplay. It will breakdown what you need to do to get accepted and what we will and will not accept. Second will be, ‘What Is Expected of Me’, this is where you will find what we are looking for when it comes to our roleplayers. The final section is, ‘What Will get Me Booted?’ This one is self explanatory, confused? Read it and you’ll understand.

So You Want to Join
Here you will find what you need to do to join. Those rules will only appear here, but you may wish to check out the other sections if you wish to stick around. Anyway, on with the rules!

~Stick to the skeleton~
Do not change any part of it, it just gets confusing to move if you do.

~Only two people to pick~
Pm, yes, I said pm, your profiles to myself or Amber Absolution. If you are
denied by one of us, we will tell the other so we know.

~It’s not impossible~
If you are missing something in your profile we will let you know. We won’t
out right reject you for a little mistake.

~Be detailed~
Please make your profile detailed and entertaining to read. Do not send us a
7000 character bio that is way too much. Just give us a brief yet detailed bio
and personality. This will help us to determine your literacy.

~Attention to detail~
This little rule here is just for me to tell you to title your pm’s ‘Lookie I
Readeded Da Rules!’

~There will be no 'almighty' characters~
You cannot create all powerful characters. They cannot know every little thing
about every character and why what is happening is happening in crazy detail.

What is Expected of Me?
This is where you are going to find everything that you need to know about what we are looking for from you. This may help you decided if you wish to join or not.

~Literacy~
We are looking for at least one paragraph minimum. We want detail so others
can post off of it with their own details. We don't want just dialogue, we want
actions and of course detail!

~Activity~
Please post at least every other day. If you are gone for a week we will pm
you. If you are going to be gone let us know and if you get lost we can help
you.

~Respect~
Respect not only myself and Amber Absolution but everyone else in this
roleplay, including characters!

~You are not god!~
Amber and myself are 'god' in this roleplay. What we say goes, do not argue
with us. If you feel we may have treated you unfairly get a hold of one or the
other and we will try to figure it out.

~Maturity~
This is a PG-13 roleplay. There will be no explicite scenes. There will be no
sex. If it cannot be avoided do a time jump around it, there are many ways
to not include detail on the subject.

~More may be added~
If one of us feels that something has been left out we will add another rule.
It will be red in color so you know it is new.

~Follow ALL rules~
This should go without warning, but rules set by myself or Menewsha are to be
followed and respected.

~Be believable~
With your characters that is. If you are a peasant fighting a ninja or
assassian, you do not stand a chance. You may be able to defend a little but
you will not win the fight.

~Know the characters~
This goes with the above rule. If you have any questions let me know.

~Stay updated~
Check news/updates, I do use it. I will often post in the IC or OOC thread that
I have added something. Check her often just in case.

~Mistakes~
If you see any mistakes with these beginning posts let me know so I may fix
them please and thank you.

What Will Get Me Booted?
Here is where you will find what you have to do to get yourself kicked out of and black listed for this roleplay.

~3 strikes and you're out~
This is most important. You only get three warnings tops when it comes to
being kicked out. Amber and myself have the right to jump strikes depending
on the severity of the turmoil

~Failure to abide by rules~
If you break any of our rules you will get a warning or more. These will mostly
be sent by pm, but if the situation is too severe you will be warned in the
thread via OOC

~Failure to cooperate~
If you fail to recognize your rule breaking and do not apologize or correct said
mistake you will get a strike.

~Disrespect~
I will not put up with disrespect in the least. Do not questiong how you upset
someone, do not make it worse, apologize.

~Failure to control your character~
If your character begins to show 'god' symptoms where they know everything,
you will be warned.

I'm just more personally interested in the fantasy genre. Had some thoughts of my own, and thought it would be nice to start running some of my own RPs. But I have a bad habit of leaving things unfinished.
Not to say your RP is uninteresting! Just wondering if I could keep up with more than one RP.

I would like to, but I am still pondering the idea...

Just wanted to say that I'll be on a trip starting Thursday afternoon and I won't be arriving back until late Saturday eveneing. Even if I do manage to get on and post, the system I will be using has a serverly restricted character allowance, so it's probable that I won't attempt. Sorry for any inconvienence!
