Athenia's Academy

This school serves for those with only the utmost of abilities and knowledge, as well as wealth. With only excepting a few students a year, we house the top percentage of aspiring youths in the world. Our school offers the students not only the proper knowledge of high-class society but also the classes to teach them to harness their given talent. Most students here are known to have several unique talents that they are taught to use properly and efficiently. We hope to be seeing your child here for our new semester this year.

What has happened in your life: Josh has always had trouble making friends because he didn't quite fit in with the other kids. For one thing he had ears and a tail, and another thing he could control fire. Everyone either laughed at him or was afraid of him, but he didn't care. He knew he was better than them and when he was sent to this school he knew that he would never be picked on or feared again.

Kisa sat under her favorite tree as she read her favorite book while drinking her favorite cup of tea. This was a time of zen for her and she felt completely at ease, the only thing that could make this better if she were sharing it with someone like a friend, or a guy. She laughed at the thought as she went back to reading, in a few minutes she would have to head on to class but until then, she thought, she would just enjoy this moment. She couldn't believe she had been here for a year now, it seemed that time had gotten away from her but she still relished on the thought of making new friends and meeting someone she could love. A sigh excaped her and she laughed at herself again.

When Miki arrived on her first day in this academy she new she was in the wrong place, there were people fighting,flying morphing....and she was good at nothing...she looked around to see if there were any familiar faces ones that she may have seen before, or dreamed about..nothing...she headed to her room when she bumped into someone, her face turning tomato red she mumble sorry and headed up stairs...thats what I get for looking at the ground while walking.

When it was time for her class Kisa slid her book back into her bag and finished drinking her tea. Getting up she walked inside and then realized that she had got her timing mixed up so she didn't have a class after all. She shrugged as she gave a little laugh and then skipped all the way to her room when she noticed a girl who was heading her direction with a red face. She stopped next to her and gave a little wave. "Hello," Kisa said sweetly. "I'm Kisa. Are you new here?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Miki was lost....she was walking quite fast almost running trying to find her room When she heard a voice.
"Um-Um yes" Miki stammered " I dont think I am in the right place....I have nothing "special " about me...she said and looked at the floor, the back up to the familiar face.

Lowen Whistled to himself as he wandered the halls. He managed to get out of most of his classes due to absolute junk, but since he loved to toy with machinery, he kept most of his classes as computer and machinery classes. Only thing was, He he didn't really feel like going today.

He drug his feet along the ground, building up static charge in his body. He enjoyed to manipulate the electrons in his body, especially when it was to zap people. usually only a light shock, but he'd also been working on attracting lightning bolts, which hadn't gone over so well. Last time he tried he was in the infirmary for a week.

"Aw, don't say that," Kisa told her. "Everyone has at least one special thing that is different from everybody else." She gave a little smie trying to cheer her up. "Where are you trying to get to? Down this hallway is the junior dorms," she explained pointed to the hall on her right. She didn't think this girl was a junior but she couldn't really tell.

Lowen spotted two targets, creeping up slowly behind them, and giving them both a shock to the middle of their backs. Nothing serious, just a little zap. "Ello there!" he said, putting an arm around Miki's shoulder as though being overly friendly. "How ya doin'?"

In surprise Kisa jolted down to the end of the hall way in a matter of seconds and then when she saw Lowen with his arm around Miki she came quickly back. She didn't know Lowen personally but it wasn't hard to know the names of people in a school with such a small student body. "You scared me," Kisa said with a blush as she crossed her arms. She found it odd that he had his arm around Miki but she didn't bother to say anything of it. "You're Lowen, right?" she asked just making sure she wasn't misinformed. She thought he was kind of cute but again she wasn't going to say anything of it, that would probably be strange.

"yup! the one and only. I'm pretty sure I'm the only electromancer here, so you must've heard about me from the others." he smiled a bit, Taking his arm off of Miki. "So how are you two ladies this fine day, hm?" he said, his smile widening.

"Good so far," Kisa told him with a smile. This was a first time a guy had actually started a conversation with her (she is not a very sociable person) so she didn't know quite what to say at first. "So, you control electricity, that's neat. I'm a morpher, mainly, but I also have agility, as you just witnessed because of your little zap. Is there anything else you can do?" she asked curiously. She then looked at Miki hoping that this wouldn't upset her since she didn't have any powers, even though she was at this school because she was special in other ways.

"Well.. I've been looking to manipulate thunderstorms but so far i've had no luck. I jsut got myself zapped was all.. I hate zapping myself." he said, "But anyway. You're... Kisa, right?" he said, smiling. "Hm.. looks like they weren't lying when they said you were good-lookin- oops! Shouldn't have said that. I apologize." he rubbed the back of his head in embarassment. sometimes he just ran his mouth too much. "Sorry, sometimes I just go on and on and i just can't stop." he shrugged.

"So you can morph and you have speed.. not bad at all." he said with a smile.

Kisa blushed when she heard him say that she was good-looking and a smile grew across her face. "Um, yeah that's me," she told him. "It's alright, I don't mind," she said. "Yeah it's pretty fun, but other times it can get pretty annoying...I morph every time I sneeze, I...uh...use to get made fun of." She then laughed at herself as she shook her head. "But I don't mind really it's all good fun..."

Lowen laughed as well. "I think I've seen that once, but it's okay. most of us have screwups with our own abilities, it's no problem." he smiled, looking down at her. She was quite a bit shorter than he was.. maybe by a foot.. or maybe it because he was a bit taller than some boys.

"Don't let it bother you, okay?"

"Oh, you have?" she asked, but then she nodded with a smile, "Kay," she told him as she looked up at him. He gave her a sudden boost of confidence which she really needed. "You're really tall," she laughed as she tried to stand on her tippy-toes to get closer to his height.

"Either that or you're kinda short." he laughed. " So what classes do you have? Any tech ones? those are most of the ones I'm in." he said, putting one hand on her shoulder. He continued to smile down at her. She did look rather cute. Maybe she'd be fun to hang around more..

Kisa stuck her tongue out at the short remark. "No, the only classes I have that aren't core classes are fighting and power building classes," she told him as she realized how warm his hand felt. "I think they put you into classes that have to do with your ability so I would have any tech classes anyways..." she told him. She kind of wish she did now though, it would be nice to be in a class with a friend.

"Darn.. that's a shame." he frowned for a short bit, but it quickly returned back to a smile. " Perhaps I'll see you at lunch times, then?" he grinned, taking his hand off of her shoulder. " I'm sure you'd like some company at lunch, no?"

"I'd love it!" she told him cheerfully with a smile. She figured that he had probably seen her sitting alone at lunch but she didn't care now because he was willing to sit by her, this made her happy. "But what about your other friends?" she asked him. "I'm sure they would want to sit with you at lunch too."

"Ah, they can get over it for a day." he said laughing. "usually I zap em when they're about to take a bite of something anyway. they don't like it." Lowen snickered a little, before looking her in the eye. "So what are you up to now? hm?"

"Nothing actually," she told him. "I thought I had a class, but I mixed up my days so I'm free now. I was actually thinking about going to the practice field to practice my fighting and my powers, wanna come with me?" she asked him hopeful.

"Sure, I'd like to watch." he said with a smile. "Long as I'm not the one getting beat up." he laughed, slapping her back and accidentally zapping her. "Whoops! Sorry about that." he said, helping her up. His face had turned serious. 'Anyway, let's get going before I accidentally hurt you some more.."

"Okay..." Kisa said feeling a little dizzy from the shock but she was kind of surprised that she didn't morph because that was something that would cause her to morph like sneezing did. She shook her head trying to shake it off and then she started walking towards the door. "Just make sure to catch me if I fall," she said when she realized her legs were a little wobbly. It wasn't far from field but she decided that it would be safer for her if she turned into something that was lower to the ground. There was a small poof and she had turned into a cat that was the same color as her hair as were all the things that she transformed into that had fur. "I see you don't have full control over your powers either," she said to him as she swooshed her tail around.

"yeah.. like i said, i zap myself occasionally." he said, rubbing his head in embarassment. He followed behind her, chuckling a bit to himself. "Now you're really really short." he laughed a bit, before stopping shortly after.

"So, you have fighting skills?" he asked, curious.

"Yep," Kisa said after laughing at the short joke he made. "Mainly swords though, I'm not that great with hand-to-hand." When they got to the field she changed back to her normal shape and looked up at him. "What about you? Do you have any fighting skills?" she asked him as she took off her book bag and put it on one of the benches.

Miki blushes when the boy with the face "lowen" She thinks was his name had is arm around her, they both seemed to talk really fast..Miki tuned out when they were talking about there talents, she saw another face....although this one seemed blurry..miki shrugged to herself and when the two started walking she followed. "Sophomore" Miki said, answering Kisa's question from earlier.
