The Master

Personality: He is very cool and cruel. He has things done his way or its the highway. But underneath locked away is a caring sweet man he once was.

Bio: When he was younge Thomas excelled faster then all other forest elves. He then began studying under all other elves as well and soon became a master of all magic and strength. He is someone all revear and he is always called upon advice or service to his people.... For the right price of course.... He once did have love in his life but his lover had been slaughtered by his rival and he then in turn slaughtered the man. He vowed to never love again in his long life. The pain just wasn't bareable.

Personality: she use to be very outgoing and happy but now she just keeps her mouth shut and cowers in the corner

Bio: A nature fairy spirt took her form her mother when she was just a baby and raised her as her own. This turned her into a changeling and she loved her Fairy mother a lot. But when she was eight and out having fun with the animals of the forest humans found her. They saw her painted ears, bright green eyes and green hair. They knew she wasn't completely human and they took her and sold her to a slave market for money. There they taught her to obey anyone and everyone. She does that but no one ever seems to want to buy her and she gets whipped every day when she doesn't get bought.

Thomas walked threw the streets heading for the small little shop on the corner. When he walked in the clerk gave a squeek of surprise and bowed low. Looking at the man cooly Thomas motioned for hin to rise. "I am in need of a personal maid." he said simply and the clerck nodded vigerously. "What exactly do you need sir?" he asked Ina shaky voice. "The best." Thomas replied and the clerk scurried into the back. Minutes later he had five girls on a long chain and stood them infront of Thomas. Thomas observed them closely as he walked around them slowly. Many were shaking in fear and a green haired one caught his eye. But he did not go to her right away. He looked at the others and then turned to her. He put a finger under her chin and raised her head so he could get a better look at her. "This one is-?" "Top of the line. Very obidient." the clerk said and Thomas let his gaze travel down her. He then nodded satisfied. "Ill take that one. And give her a new outfit those rags will not work in my house." he said coldly and handed the clerk a nice plump bag of golden coins.

Evelyn looked at the man the clerk was talking to. He looked cruel but she was taught to do what ever they where told and to never diobey. The clerk then took her into the back and smiled at her. "looks like your going to make me rich." he said and then tossed her a dress. Evelyn looked at the dress and frowned, she didn't want a dress she wanted to be back home with mom and the animals and to be free to wear what she wanted. But she put it on and the clerk then pushe dher out and towards the man. He then clipped her onto the leash and he smiled at THomas, "here you are" he said and Eve didn't even both to look up. She was jut going to be taken to yet another horrible place so why should she try to escape and trying would only get her whipped.

Thomas took the leash and looked at the girl cooly. He then nodded to the clerk and the clerk bowed low. "Come along." he said to the girl and walked out of the store. He began walking down the street and soon a beautiful bird call was heard. A rare smile flashed upon his features and he held out his free arm. On it landed a beautiful green and blue bird. "Kaya, have enough mice for one day?" he asked the bird and it chirped happily. It then tilted it's head at the girl and Thomas followed it's gaze. "She's just the new maid. She will learn quickly." he said evenly as if she didn't she would not enjoy the consiquences.

Evelyn looked up when she heard the bird and smiled. She then let out a small little chirp of her own and the bird came over to her. Evelyn smiled as it landed on her shoulder but she quickly remembered that she shouldn't do that since the last time she did she was punished and quickly chirped again so that the bird went back to him. She then looked down at the ground and didn't make another sound. But she was happy to be outside, near nature and mom, near anything that was earth.

Thomas watched the girl chirp and his eyes grew slightly as he understood what she was. He then petted Kaya as she returned to him and looked a the girl. "Your job will be easy. Merely fetching me whatever I ask for and doing what ever else I say to do... And if you are not needed either stand close to me or be in ear shot understood?" he said smoothly as they entered the forest. He seemed to relax more here and he was visibly less tense.

Evelyn nodded, "yes master." she said softly and her voice sounded as soft as the wind. As they entered the forest she smiled a little bit and let her fingers brush a bush and a tree here and there. It felt nice to be back in the forest but her mother wouldn't come. She wans't improtant enough now.

Soon the trees gave way and began turning into a natural tunnel of trees. They walked threw and on the other side was a bright clearing with a beautiful house made up of trees itself that were formed by the use of singing magic. The medow of flowers surrounding it made it seem amazing. All kinds of flowers and colors were around this large natural clearing the Kaya began to sing happily as she took off towards the house. "This is your new home now." he said softly as he walked forward on the small stone path winding threw the flowers.

Evelyn could only stair at her new home in wonder. This place felt like home already and when she saw the medow of flowers she knew that was where she was going to be duirng her free time, if she could get any. She wanted to say something but bit her lip since talking always seemed to get her him trouble. She didn't want to get beaten just yet so she just nodded at him as she followed him.

Thomas noticed the excitment in her eyes when she looked at the flowers. "What do you think?" he asked softly as he smiled seeing two foxes romping in the flowers. Many small humming birds darted around and not too far away a comletelt white horse grazed happily. That was Thomas's war hourse and he took care of it everynight. He had a soft spot for animal as did all elves and he always welcomed them into his small medow. He had even had bears visit once or twice.

Evelyn looked at Thomas and hadn't expected him to ask her anything. No one ever wanted her oppinion since she was just a slave, nothing more and nothing less. She then smiled, "it is amazing." she said and the humming birds heard her and flew over. They all greated her happly and soon after the birds the foxes then came. She smiled and petted there heads happly. She smiled at them happly and they told her that thomas was nice. She hopped that they where right and she saw the horse making his way over here.

Thomas watched the slave with intrest letting the leash have some slack. The animals seemed to be liking her enough. He then smiled widely as Snowfire trotted over. He petted the huge horse's muzzle and rested his head against the horse's. "Having a good day are we my friend?" he said and the horse winnied softly. Thomas smiled and stroked the horses neck. "This is Snowfire. You are to feed him his special hay and oats in the morning and otherwise stay away from him. He has to keep himself in top condition and interrupting is not wise." he said and the horse seemed to smile.

Evelyn looked at the horse and rested a hand on him. "yes master." she siad softly and gently stroked the horse, that was the one thing she usually said, nothimg more. She then pressed her face into snow fires main and took in a deep sniff. She then smiled and nayed softly to the horse. She then looked at thomas and wondered if she could sleep outside. She wanted to sleep in the medow of flowers so that she was close to nature. But she just looked down and knew that she should ask nothing of her master, when he tryed that last time he had given her the scar on her back as a reminder never to ask for anything.

Thomas watched the slave and his horse and his surpressed a growl. No one touched his horse except him. But she would learn quickly. "Come along maid." he said tugging her leash and began walking pulling the leash taunt. The animals ran away happily and he walked to his house. He opened the door to reveal a very beautifully designed interrior based on peaceful serean setting with small fountains and flowers and plant life everywhere. He then shut the door after pulling her inside. "Now a few more rules. If you so much as touch Snowfire again without my permission when not feeding him you will be punished. As well as disobeying you will be punished as well. Do i make myself clear?" he said sternly looking at yer coldly.

Evelyn looked at him and she wanted to go outside again. But she had no free will here, she was a slave and nothing more. WHen she heard his rules she bowed her head deeply. "yes, master and you may punish me now for touching snowfire, nothing good comes from anything if you let it slide." she said softly since she had learnd this over the years. If he didn't punish her now she might do it again and she knew she would. She loved horses to much and she knew that he would only grow angeryer and the pain more painfull so she might as well get it now. She didn't really feel it anymore anyways, if you looked at her body you saw that her body was completely covered in scars or something, no skin was left un touched or any part of her. She then closed her eyes and waited for the pain to come.

Thomas looked at her and clenched his teeth. He didn't like the fact of punishment but it was true. He looked at her and took her chin and looked into her face. "You should brace yourself." he said softly and let go of the magic spell. He let the body writhing pain flow from him to her and watched her fall to the floor. He watched her keeping emotion out of his face and shook his head. "Next time it will be worse. Now pick yourself up and go get yourself cleaned up. He said pointing to a room to his right.

Evelyn didn't scream or anything and shakely picked herself up from the floor. She had gotten worse before and she could deal with it. "yes master." she said, her voice was showed no pain in it and you coudln't tell that he had just let pain into her. She then made her way to her room and did as he commanded and cleand up. She soon came up with her face watched, hair braided and a simple outfit she had found in her room.

Thomas looked at her and nodded. He then walked threw the house to his study and sat down at his desk. He had a stack of letters to go threw. He waved his hand and music began playing from the sterio system cleverly hidden between two small rose vines in which he grew especally. The bush was grown from his lover's ashes and in it he felt her spirit living on. The roses were of all different colors and next to it was a single picture of her on a branch. He had a picture of both of them together on his desk but those were the only things that ever reminded him of his lover.... And his vow to never love again.

Evelyn followed him obidently and looked like the loyal dog she was made to be. She smiled when she saw the roses and they seeme dot reach out to her and call for her. She heard a girly voice comeing form them and they spoke to her about Thomas and she smiled slightly. The flowers told her of him and everything about herself. She smiled slightly and frowned when she heard the flowers ask what she was. She just sighed and the flowers seemed to nod and shut up. She then turned to Thomas, "what may I do for you first?" she asked and hoped that it was soemthing to deal with being outside.

Thomas looked up from a letter and his bright green eyes flashed. "I have nothing I need right now. If you want to be useful stand and be quiet." he said sternly and then turned back to the letter. His niece again asking to be his apprentis. She did not have what it took to master all elements and all powers. She was gifted yes, but she was full of herself and he knew only too well that it would go to her head.... And innosent people like his love would get hurt for no reason. "Ge me some water." he said without even looking at her and moved onto another letter.

Evelyn nodded and quickly left the room to get some water. She soon cam back with some and she now had a ferret around her neck. She didn't ask it to come it just did, animals always where attracted to her, just like how flowers wanted to talk to her. The ferret growled softly at Thomas since some of the animals didn't like him but she just bumped with her chin to get him to stop. She then handed Thomas the drink and stood there as quietly as before.

Thomas accepted the glass of water and drank it without moving his gaze from the letter he was reading. "hmmm... It seems the council needs another visit... Probably my thoughts about the coming war..." he muttered to himself and stood. he shook his head letting his pure white hair fall around him. He brushed his hand on the picture of him and his lover and then turned away from the desk. He walked to his room and opened a closet. He serched threw for his usual formal council outfit and sighed heavily. "they should see that my side has not been decided yet.." he muttered to himself crossly.

Evelyn followed him with teh ferret on her shoulder as it chatted to her softly. She smiled a little bit as he told her about the recent years and everything that has been happening. as she left she heard the flowers mutter a few words of love to Thomas even though he heard nothing. She stood besides him as he searched and listend to him. She had heard about the war form the other slaves, some of there masters where even going to make them fight in it.

Thomas soon found his black and gold attire and looked at the maid. "Go get your black and gold dress on and meet me outside of the house." he said and shut the door on her. He quickly changed and then jumped out the window. He whistled and Snowfire trotted over to him. He smiled and patted the horses neck. He then put an elven sadle of black leather on him and then mounted him. "Well my friend we are off to the council yet again." he whispered softly and another beautiful golden horse entered the clearing slowly. Both Thomas and Snowfire stared silently. "Go say hello to her boy... We can wait." Thomas whispered and dismounted. Snowfire trotted over to solara and then rubbed necks and winnied softly to eachother. Thomas had to look away sadness filling his heart. His poor Kaylita.... He knew only too well that her horse Solara missed her dearly... Everyone did... Except for those who he could actually speak to. His own kind merely saw it as life. Murder was not life. And she was robbed of a bright future.... She was suposed to be the one to take the throne and end this horrible council... But she was gone and so was the hope of overthrowing the council.
