The Forgotten Youth

The world has changed, lives have change, and molecular structures have changed. There is a silent whisper that talks about a school, a place that houses the different ones; kids’ who molecular structures have been changed. Here in this school children ranging from all ages are put in here to live the rest of their lives out. Some kids are demons, some with some mystical ability and some with both.

However the kids that live there at first thought that their parents where putting them into a boarding school. In the end, they soon find out the truth. They cannot leave this place; those that try are never heard from again. Here the kids are treated as prisoners.

I can change the matter around, shape-shift if I want or change a desk into a couch.
And yet I am only 17 years old.

People say things about me but deep inside I am: Filled with a fiery passion for many different things. If I like something I will use all I can too get that something or to keep doing that something, or to protect that something. I will never back down and will try to fight for my rights and what I believe is right. I can be, once you know me, kind and sweet, cute and childish. I love fairytales and such I try to imagine one everyday to get me through the day. I know that my prince charming will be there to help me one day. Yeah I still believe in those dreams. Dreams will come true, if you believe.
To tell you the truth I was: born to no one. Apparently a few minutes after my mother gave birth to me, I transformed into something different, I think it was a cat. Yeah that is not normal, eh? Since then, I have lived form place to place. Changing my looks with my feelings. Either my hair is a green-blue, blue, navy blue, or rainbow (mostly it’s rainbow). I never had a place to call home, I had some friends to call family, but never one person for a long time. My life was a quick change to another. I practiced in my spare time how to transform other object and myself. Soon I was getting good at it.
However one day there was this van thing. It was sitting on the corner watching me when all of the sudden men came out and grabbed me. Pulling me into it and took me to this place. The soon put this bracelet thing around my wrist which caused to lose my powers to a point. I tried to break free; I tried to get the bracelet off, but all failed. Now I am trapped in the hell place, without my full powers.

People say things about me but deep inside I am: a quiet guy that stays inside the library most the time. I try not to fight but when I do, I do it with ease. I have full control over my powers now and I learned how to control my anger. You will see me with girls more then boys. I think it is because of the sisters I once had. I eat nothing but apples and pie.
To tell you the truth I was: born into a family that never wanted me I grew up hated. My dad hit me and beat up on me a lot. My mom was worse she liked to do many other things to me. I was a broken child. I grew up the only boy in a six-kid family. It was not until I was 17 when I learned my powers. It was my birthday and even the heavens cried with me. It was a stormy night and the family was coming home after one of my sister’s piano things. My mom and dad were yelling at me because I fell asleep. I was so mad I told them to fuck off and die. The car hit an ice patch and we spun out into the lake. I got out first and tried to get my sisters out. With all my might, I could not save them. I washed up on the edge of the lake. Even if I hated my family, I did not want them to die. I yelled at the heavens to save them but nothing happened. I threw my fists into the lake with anger at it. The lake started to bubble and in a flash, it was bone dry. A dark cloud flew over it filled with rain. I passed out for no reason but lack of energy. I awoke a few days after. A doc came in and told me my family was safe but I was going to a school. At the time, I was happy that I was getting away from them. It wasn’t until I got here I learned it was a prison for teens like me. After I came here, I made myself forget my name and became Alkatraz, but Alka for short.

I can control the elements around me, however I can only control Fire and some Earth, mostly just Fire.
And yet I am only 19 years old.

People say things about me but deep inside I am: a kind and gentle person. I keep to myself most of the time, not wanting to get anyone into trouble. I seem to always have something in my hand, a flame, a stuffed animal, or a book. I seemed to be a bookworm more when I was out in the world, now that is all I can be. Sometimes however I can develop a temper and fight back. I will fight for my beliefs but I just truly want to fight to get out of here.
To tell you the truth I was: born into a family of smart people. My parents, my brothers, and my sister all are A+ people. However once I entered that picture things changed. I never really cared for school, I never really tried. After that incident, I have been practicing my control of fire. Soon my parents notice and soon sent me away to boarding school. Now I know what this place really is and I just want out. I do not care what I have to do, I just want out.
Just about 12 years ago, I got into a fight at school. It was not a hug fight, something small. However, I was truly pissed as hell. I felt as if my whole body was on fire. The fight went on for a few minutes until I heard the boy yelling out in plain and everyone seemed to be staring at me. My whole hand was on fire and since I had punched the boy in the stomach, so was his stomach on fire. I did not understand the meaning of this and neither did anyone else. The teachers came and put out the flames. They believed that someone had lit a match or a lighter. Soon however I came to understand what it really was. Skipping class, I would do to a secluded place and practice my fire control and making. Soon became very good at this. Unfortunately my parents saw one day and boom.. Here I am.

To tell you the truth I was: [born in a small town type setting to a single mom, thanks to my dad who left when she was still pregnant with me. I grew up like most kinda, but when my 'powers' started to develop, my mom got freaked out by me and put me up for adoption. Family after family, I went through until I ended up with my biological father. He was similar to me, when it came to the freaky mind control stuff, but he wouldn't ever show me how to use it for good. One day, when he new wife came home with their newborn son, I saw how happy my father was with her and the baby and snapped. I thought of all the different ways I wanted her and the baby to die, and without even thinking, my telekinetic powers took action before I could stop them. I killed my father's wife and baby and he shipped me off to this school to get a grip on life and keep me out of the way from the law.]
