Shadow burst through the very tall doors of the throne room. His face was red with anger as he bellowed,"ONYEEN! WHERE ARE YOU? THIS IS NO TIME TO BE FOOLING AROUND!" He kept searching the throne room. Meanwhile OnYeen was brushing her daughter's, Eclair, wavy pale blue hair. She smiled,"Eclair you have such nice hair. Now what did you want me to do with it?" Eclair smiled,"Put a little braid down the back. I'm not good at that..." OnYeen nodded and started braiding. Emily ran in,"I found it! Her flower hair clip! I found it finally." OnYeen laughed, as Emily gave it to her,"Where's Bob and Ryu?". Emily thought about it,"Well Bob is training and your brother is in the library."

Katie stared out of the large window in her bedroom wondering about all the other kingdoms, where they at war?, Peace? She had no clue. But what she was really looking at was her son riding one of their black horses. He had always wanted to be a knight like Drake, but Katie wouldn't allow it. If he died she would have nothing. . and she would die as well.
She quickly turned away from the window and walked out of her room and down the long hallway.The hallway was filled with portraits of the generations of Katies family over the years.But, some pictures were just things she painted. She walked down the long curving steps and looked at the spade that was in the center of the ground to the entrance,it was a large spade just there for everyone to see. She stepped around the tiled spade and noticed all the servants running around the room.
"Good morning Miss Katie."One of the butlers said with a bow. She waved them off and pulled the curtain back by the door, looking out to watch her son. She hated when he was with Drake.

Drake chuckled and raced Alexander towards the barn to put their horses away."Your getting better everyday. Maybe someday your mother will let you be a knight like me."

"I doubt it.."Alexander groaned and jumped off his horse,grabbing it by the rains and led it inside the barn."She's afraid i'll be killed..like father."He said,helping his horse into the stall and shutting the door. He pet its long main one last time before turning to Drake."She has to get remarried soon..or atleast thats what i've heard."He said with a sigh and his brow furrowed. "It will probably be some dumbass wanting my mom only for her power." He added, running a hand threw his dark black hair.

Drake nodded."I feel bad for your mother..she probably will never find another person she actually loves. She'll probably end up marrying a complete stranger." He said,adjusting his bow tie and dusting off his black suit.He had already led his horse into the stall."Well, I'm off to clean." He said and turned walking towards the house.
Cole walked down the hallway quietly,noticing all the stares he was getting from the girl servants. If they thought he was cute..wait till they saw Ryu. He grinned at them and continued to walk down the hall, noticing his sisters sad face looking out of the window."Dear sister.."

OnYeen finished the braid. Eclair smiled and hugged her mother,"Thank you mother." She ran off. OnYeen laughed,"Emily would you get a horse ready?" Emily smiled,"Of course milady." Emily walked off then called back,"By the way...Shadow's looking for you!" OnYeen smiled When is he not anymore?
She left and walked to the library,"Brother? Today's Eclair's playdate with the prince of Spades." Ryu closed his book and smiled on of his the-ladies-love-me smiles,"Of course dear sister. I will get the letter for Katie as well." OnYeen nodded,"Oh yes...where is my husband?" Ryu shrugged,"Who knows...oh yes he's still trying to finish his...um..."gift"." OnYeen smiled softly,"Of course." She hugged her brother and went outside to Bob.
OnYeen walked toward him,"Oh Bob? Ryu will be busy so he can't pick up Eclair from her playdate so you'll have to get her." Bob bowed,"With pleasure my queen."

Katie walked outside, ignoring her brothers pleads. He only made her feel worse because he knew she was suffering. She walked into the barn. "Alexander,go to your room and take a shower.You stink and today is your playdate with the princess of clubs."
"Playdate? I'm sixteen.."He said with a frown.

"Quit whining and go get dressed and ready..she'll be here soon. Someday you will have to find a woman." She said, walking to him and placing a ring in his hand." Your father gave that ring to me and I suggest you use it well." She said, brushing his bangs out of his face." You look so much like him.." She said quietly and turned, leaving and walking back into the house. She walked right into her brother and Drake.

"Hello Sister, would you like Drake to get the tea ready?"He asked,looking over at the grimacing Drake.

Katie nodded."Make the back yard romantic enough for Alexander and Eclair. We can't ruin this." She said and went to the living room ,sitting on one of the royal chairs.
Drake nodded and watched Cole leave and go to the library. Drake went out back and set the tea set out on the nice backyard dining table right next to the rose garden and the fountain. "Done." He grinned and walked inside and to the kitchen to see the lady servants.

Alexander went upstairs and took his shower,getting in his special clothes and then walked downstairs and sat by his mother.

Eclair ran outside wearing a white dress with green bows,"Is it time mother?" OnYeen smiled at her gorgeous daughter,"Yes my dear. You will be riding with Ryu today." Emily walked over and took Eclair over to the horse and put her on,"RYU GET YOUR CUTENESS DOWN HERE!!!" Ryu flew down,"Ready Eclair?" She nodded,"Yes uncle." Bob bowed.
Then as they were about to leave "ONYEEEEEN!" OnYeen sighed,"Shadow...." Shadow ran down,"Where have you been OnYeen?" OnYeen gave him the hand,"With my daughter, dim-wit." Shadow stared at her then noticed they weren't alone..."Hi daddy!" Eclair waved her hand at him,"Yeah whatever....OnYeen I need you right now!" OnYeen sighed,"See you guys tonight."The couple walked off. Then Ryu and Eclair rode off toward the Kingdom of Spade.

Katie noticed Ryu and Eclair coming in the distance." There coming! Positions everyone!"She yelled and stood up, obviously dazed from seeing Ryu. She pulled Alexander up from his chair and stood him on the big spade across from the door.
Drake along with all of the other servants stodd in a line behind Alexander and faced the door."Were ready."
Cole walked down the steps holding his book and stopped on the second to last spot."I'm ready as well."
Alexander sighed."She better be pretty.."

Ryu rode up and got down,"Greetings everyone!" He walked to Katie, kneeled, took her hand, and kissed it,"Queen Katie." He stood and flipped his hair as all the girls squealed.

Eclair got off the horse and walked next to Ryu,"Remember me Queen?"

Ryu gasped,"That reminds me!" He took a scroll out of his sash,"From my sister, Queen of Clubs, OnYeen Sara Rhapsody." He patted Eclair's head and got back on the horse,"See you all around!" He rode off.

Katie's usually pale face blushed bright red."Ryu."She said as he got up."Thank you.." She said and took the scroll. She looked back at all of the girls and stared as if to say 'back off He's mine'.They all turned and walked into the house quickly. She waved before he left. She turned to Eclair." Of course I remember you.." She said and turned her attention to the scroll, opening it to see whats inside." Eclair. This is my son, Alexander Joshua." She said and put her hand out for her son to come over."Theirs tea waiting for you two in the back."

Alexander walked over, looking at Eclair. She was beautiful. He put out a hand for her to take and bowed." Hello Eclair, would you like to join me for some tea?" He asked with one of his handsome smiles he once got from his father.

"Drake went out back,pouring the tea and then going to the kitchen with the ladies.

Cole chuckled at his sisters facial expression, it was the first time she had blushed since her husband was killed." Like what you see ,dear sister?If you'd like we can send him a letter to join you for tea sometime."

Katie shook her head."No, I'd blush to much."She said with a small smile and looked down at her dress." He is quite handsome isn't he?" She said with a grin.

Eclair bowed,"Alexander don't you remember me? We played together at Club remember? We were like...three..." She blushed.

MEANWHILE

"OnYeen you know I need you!" Shadow yelled. OnYeen frowned,"I need you too Shadow....without you I'd die....literally!" Shadow blushed,"Well...well..." OnYeen glared at him,"Well what? The Full Moon is over so our BIG problems are over...for now..." Shadow glared back,"Exactly!" OnYeen sighed but kept glaring,"So? We've been through worse Shadow. That wasn't even one of your worse states." Shadow threw a knife at the wall,"It could've been!" OnYeen sighed,"But it wasn't. Forgive and forget or else everything you do will haunt you until you die.', she stared at the wall,"Apologize to the wall." Then she left.Shadow smacked his forehead Idiot....
Emily walked over to OnYeen as she stared out on her balcony,"Milady as your friend I have to say this...you need to put a leash on him." OnYeen sighed,"Shockingly enough he's stronger than me and I don't want him to go through more pain than he already has." Emily grabbed her shoulders,"But you've been through a lot!" OnYeen brushed her off,"I know." Bob walked in,"Ryu's home." Emily smiled,"Yay!" She ran off. OnYeen sighed,"I hope Eclair's having fun..."

Alexander smiled."I remember a little.." He said and took her hand,leading her to the tea in the back." You look ravishing today." He said and pulled the chair out for her to sit down.

Katie waved her brother away and went outside and ran to the barn in her dress out to the graveyard.She climbed down the hill and threw the bushes and trees and opened the small hidden gate.She walked inside looking at all the graves and then made her way to his. She sat in front of it feeling dread and just pet her hand on the stone, sliding it across the top."I miss you.."She whispered and pressed her forehead to the top of the stone.

Cole frowned."Drake..send a letter to the Clubs kingdom about a ball.My sister needs some cherring up.."He said quietly and started up the stairs."Make the ball tommorow night as soon as the sun sets.." He said and walked up the stairs, leaving Drake to write the letter.

Drake frowned."Damn.."He muttered and grabbed a scroll of the desk and sat down to write the letter. "Dear....OnYeen...."
He finally wrote the letter one hour later:
Dear Rhapsody family,
You are invited to the Spades ball tommorow night as soon as the sun sets.In honor of someone.
The Queen needs some cheering up and would like to see you at the party..even though its a suprise and she doesn't know it exists ((RYU MUST COME ))

He set the letter down and left to go get his shoes.
Cole chuckled and walked in the room,replacing the letter with the shopping list scroll.He slid it in his jacket and left to get his horse ready.He raced his horse to the club kingdom and hid in the trees, ready for Drake to go by.
Drake grabbed the scroll and jumped on his horse,riding to the kingdom and got off and knocked on the door.

OnYeen answered the door,"Yes Drake what is it?"

Eclair smiled,"You look like a king in those clothes." Eclair sat down and smiled at him softly.

Shadow clawed at his head,"I'm so stupid! GAH!"

Ryu smiled,"Now Shadow...once you finish your masterpiece OnYeen will forgive for all your mutiple past mistakes..."

Shadow glared his blood red eyes at him,"You're not helping!" He threw a knife at the clever bishop but he moved his head.

Ryu backed away,"Okay I'll leave." But when he opened the door Emily and Bob fell through. All three of them ran.

Drake handed them the letter."From the divine family."He said calmly.

Cole then started to slowly have his horse come out from behind the trees.

Alexander chuckled."Thank you, and you look like a queen."He said and blushed a little, drinking some of his tea.

Eclair giggled,"Thank you very much."

OnYeen opened it, laughed, and said slowly to not hurt Drake's head,"Drake....this is a shopping list. By the way by the looks of this you guys need eggs fast..."

Shadow clawed at himself,"Stupid father....giving me this damn disease!" He ran at the wall and gave it a long claw mark,"Huff...huff...OnYeen...".

Ryu gasped,"Let's NEVER do that again!"

Emily nodded,"I agree completely."

Bob panted,"I second that emotion." They had ran all the way from the tower to the front grounds.

Cole rode up on his horse and jumped off with a flip of his silver hair and handed the real scroll to OnYeen."Drake forgot the letter he wrote."He said and bowed,kissing OnYeens hand."It's lovely to see you Queen."He said and stood up strait.

Drake growled at Cole."I swear the letter was on the desk...Cole you switched them didn't you?"Cole said nothing."Ugh.."

Katie walked back inside."Wheres the maid..?"She said sadly and sat in her chair.

Alexander finished his tea."So what do you like to do?"He asked, he had his hands under the table and was twirling the ring in his fingers.

Eclair replied,"Artistic kind of things. Writing, drawing, painting, music, stuff like that. What about you?" Her skyblue eyes stared at him.

OnYeen smiled,"Thank you Cole.', she glanced at Drake,'Dim-wit." She opened the scroll and read it, frowning,"Oh dear...I am sorry but I cannot go. But my brother and the others can." She sighed,"If I had a ball all of you can come but....I can't leave here at the moment...send my apologies to Katie."She sighed.

Shadow stared out the window of the tower seeing his wife,"OnYeen...what am I doing to you?"

Ryu stared at the tower,"What now?"

Emily thought about,"Let's stay here until we're beckoned."

Bob nodded,"We can practice our skills against each other.

And so they did.

Alexander smiled softley."Well,I like to paint,ride horses,fight and play the piano.Thats realyl all im allowed to do..minus the fighting thing."He said quietly.

Cole nodded."I shall Queen OnYeen,Thank you for your time.Now come Drake, You need your medication.."He smirked and dragged him onto his horse.The two rode back to the palace.

OnYeen bowed and walked back in then saw her lovely husband run down the spiral staircase.

"OnYeen! Who was that?" OnYeen was frowning,"Cole and Drake...here." She handed him the letter and hugged his arm. He's so warm....like fire. Shadow read the note and wanted to claw at his face but he knew that would make OnYeen go into a depression. He just hugged her back. She's freezing...but soft...
Ryu, Bob, and Emily walked in. Emily smiled,"This is good ice cream!" Bob laughed,"Hell yeah!" Ryu laughed along,"So OnYeen who was....oh...." They stared at the couple. Ryu whispered,"Back away slowly..." They returned outside.

Alexander looked at Eclair."Would you like to come to the ball tommorow night? I would love to see you here."He said,running his hand threw his hair and looking at her with a soft smile. She was beautiful, but would she accept his proposal?

Eclair smiled,"Sounds wonderful! I'll gladly come!" She giggled.

"Raien, I don't want to go. That's ridiculous that you would even think of it."
"Kilyo, we are royalty and as such as expected to as least make an appearance at such things. We both are attending the ball at the Spades kingdom and that is final. I don't want to hear another word about you not going." Both of the siblings red eyes flashed but they both remained silent.
Kilyo left and went outside to the garden, heading towards the waterfall fountain that they had erected for their parents after they had died. She sat down on the edge, angry. She started to pull on her long red hair, deciding to braid it.

Raien bowed his head with a sigh. His parents had allowed her too much freedom for too long, he knew. Now all she wanted to do was fight and runaway, not be the princess she is. He looked up when one of his advisors came in after she left and he smiled a little. "My king, should I go after her?" "No. No. She will be fine. No doubts she is at the fountain again." He stood. "I am going to go into my study and do some paperwork. Excuse me." The lord bowed to his king and Raien went to do his paperwork.

Bob pulled out his pocket watch,"I'm late for Eclair!" He ran out got on a white stallion and rode off toward the Kingdom of Spades. When he got there he knocked on the door.

OnYeen and Shadow stayed holding each other as Ryu and Emily watched Bob leave. Ryu laughed,"Poor guy." Emily giggled,"Yep."

Alexander pulls out his pocket watch."Shit..I mean..Sorry but its almost time for you to go.I can't wait until I see you tommorow."He said and got up,kissing her cheek."Thank you for coming."He said, putting out an arm for her to take when she stands.

Katie went to her room and laid down,closing her eyes.She was very tired and knew she had to be well rested..Cole had told her about the ball on accident.She soon fell asleep dreaming of how much she missed her husband.

Drake and the other servants were soon dismissed and sent to their room and fell asleep since it was already dark and they needed rest for the ball.

Cole went to his room and fell asleep.

Samantha ended up being the only one awake that was inside and went to the door,opening it to see a very handsome man."Hello."She said with a soft smile."Can I help you with something?"

Bob's crystal blue eyes glistened,"I'm here for the Princess...Eclair."

Eclair took his arm and blushed BIG TIME! :squee:

(Okay, just to make sure I have this straight, the ball is in Spades court and Eclair was over on the playdate at Spades just now, right? I was starting to get confused when I was reading :XD)
