Alright I don't waste my time with profiles in one on one roleplays so I'll just start up an into paragraph. ^^ So I guess we're just winging it. :P

A sweet little coffee shop provided a boy shelter as he ducked into the cafe, away from the pelting rain. Lately, there had been too many of these drenching days, even for someone like Nathan. His black hair, dark gray hoodie, and faded gray skinny jeans definetly matched the mood that the weather had set, however he had to admit that at least one day of sunshine now and then was alright.

As soon as the door closed behind the boy, he entered further into the quaint little place. he quickly skimmed the occupants for others that may have been around his age, 17. Ever the social butterfly, Nathan always had his hazel eyes on the lookout. However no one registered as interesting in his mind, so he approached the counter and ordered a warm cup of hot chocolate before moving down to the end of the counter to wait for his order to be filled.

Kaylee came in a few minutes after him, she came down to the counter and also ordered a cup of hot chocolate, payed the person and sat next to you waiting for her drink. She smiled and looked over at you. "Hello."

Nathan looked up. "Hello." He responded, a kind smile enterring his face. She seemed kind enough. And hey, kudos for having the guts to say hello. Nathan was very social, indeed, however he was rather reluctant and fairly shy when it came to the first words exchanged. "So you're trying to escape the rain, too?" He said, holding the cup of hot chocolate to his lips. the steam felt nice against his face, which still had a couple of stray droplets on it from the storm outside. There was a soft clap of thunder in the distance. It added a nice touch to the scene.

She smiled and took a sip of her drink. "Yes i wish it would not rain so much." kaylee loved to talk she liked meeting new people and making friends. "So how are you on this rainy day?"

"Perfectly fine." Replied Nathan, the smile still on his face. She seemed really friendly, like someone who loved socialising as much as he did. "And yourself?" He asked, checking that his tone was cheery enough. He looked like the depressed, misunderstood, leave-me-alone sort of boy, yes, but his personality was certaintly much more bubbly than that.

"I've been really good today, but then i came out to get some hot cohcolate cause it was raining, it makes the day go by slowly for me." she still had her smile on her face, she took off her black coat and hood, and set it on the back of her chair. she was wearing a long sleave shirt and and blue jeans. "So what were you doing before you came here?"

nathan nodded in agreement to her comment regarding the wether. "Before I came here... just walking." He laughed a little. "I love the rain. Although it's a bit rediculous how much of it we've been getting lately." He took aanother sip of his hot chocolate. It was good here, the beverage was served at the perfect temperature right away so that nathan didn't have to wait for it to cool down. "Oh hey," He looked up suddenly. "I didn't catch your name. I'm Nathan, by the way." He added, looking up at her with the expectation of a response.

"Oh i was out looking for a different shirt. I love the rain to, but only when i'm indoors with a cup of hot chocolate and a blanket covered up watching it." she smiled at him she was blushing and didn't know why. she drank some more of her drink. "My name is Kaylee, nice to meet you Nathan." she giggled.

Blush. how cute. Nathan smiled. There was something about this girl that amused him in that certain way... "Nice to meet you too, Kaylee." He said. "So you were out shopping, huh?" He couldn't seem to take the smile off of his face. "Find anything nice?" Nathan asked her, genuinly enjoying their conversation. He was always dissapointed when he left a store or other public place without meeting someone new. This girl seemed like someone who was going to really stick out in his contacts list for a while.

She giggled and picked up one of her bags from the seat next to her to show him the shirt she had bought. It was red with sparkles on it, so it was shiny. "I love shiny things they are pretty." she smiled and then took out a little shirt that was white. "I got this to go with it. Do you think it is nice? I was gonna wear it tonight when i go out." she smiled and put them back in the bag. "I also bought a couple of other things."

"Very nice." Said Nathan, his approval of her outfit choice clear on his face. "And shiney things are awesome." he laughed. "So distracting, though. Where were you planning on going out to tonight?" He asked her, curious about her plans. Maybe she was going to a cool hangout that he could hit up as well. This was one of the lucky towns with a few teen clubs dotted around. Nathan knew very well that some towns didn't have anything for teens, really. He'd spent the first fifteen years of his life in one of those towns, in fact, so he was appreciative of the establishments around here.

"I'm going to one of the teen clubs my friend invited me to she wanted me to meetthis guy..would you like to come with me?" she smiled. "I would love for you to come with. It would be nice ." she hoped he would say yes to come with her, she didn't really want to meet this guy her friend had told her to come see. "Are you into these teen clubs?" she smiled at him.

"I'm so into them." Laughed Nathan. "Ya, I'd love to come. Blind dates are no fun anyhow, so I'll back ya up." He offered with a smile. "But you should meet him anyway. You never know, it could turn out well. Although my friends havn't ever successfully set me up. For people who should know me inside out, they seem to have an aweful time finding a good girl for me. They always manage to find the ones that i can't get along with at all." he said rolling his eyes. "Friends." He added with another laugh. "So which club are we hitting tonight?" He asked her.

"Thank you so much!" she giggled and gave him a hug. he cheeks got redder by the minute. "I don't think i will like him, all the guys my friend finds they always end up as jerks to me." she laughed. "And when they can't get to me they go after my friend and she ends up getting hurt." she frowned for a second then smiled again. "I don't know which club we are going to i think it is the one just down the street.. umm i forgot what it is called i'm sorry." "So would you like me to walk with you to you home where you could get all the stuff you need to get ready and come back to my house and get ready cause we have like an hour and it takes me a while to get ready." she giggled.

Nathan laughed a bit. "Well if it takes you a while to get ready, we could just part ways for now. I know whitch club you're talking about so I'll meet you there. My house is kind of far from here so it'd be a bit of a walk. And my car is currently.... totaled." He laughed at the last bit, thinking about his incident with a pole a few days back. The piece of used junk was reaching the end of it's days anyhow, so it wasn't much of a big deal. "And when we get there, remind me to keep an eye on that guy. I don't want him breaking any hearts." Nathan scowled for a moment. "Guys like that piss me off, in all honesty." his smile returned as he said, "But they're fun to beat up. if they're tough with they're words, they're weak with their fists. I may look like a scrawny kid, but i can kick butt if someone pisses me off." He had a wicked smile for a moment, which quickly returned to his usal kind smile. Downing the last remaining drops of hot chocolate, Nathan stood. "So." He said, placing his cup on the table. "I'll see you in about an hour."

She looked at him after she finished her drink. "Do you want me to drop you off? My car is right out side, i parked it while i was shopping, it's just across the street." she smiled. she didnt want him to have to be out in the rain ortake some other transportation. "If he tries something i'll let you know, or if he says something rude and impolite i'll tell you." she giggled and winked at him.

"Alright." said Nathan with a returned wink. "So I guess we should head then. I'll thank you in advance for the ride....thanks." he laughed. "Just remind me later that i owe you a ride. Once I get a new car, I'll let you know." In all honesty, Nathan really wanted to keep in touch with this girl. She was cool, so far. He wanted to learn more about her. Hopefully tonight he'd get the chance. She was friendly enough. "So Kaylee, what kind of car have you got?" He asked, putting his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. He was guessing something girly, maybe something shiney. The thought sparked another smile as he thought about the shirt she'd showed him and their short concervastion about shiney objects.. Already he had some fun memories. It was a good sign. He'd found a good friend, or at least he really hoped he had. She was pretty too... Maybe, Nathan thought, just maybe she could be something a little more in the future.

She giggled and got up putting on her coat and got her bags. "Okay you ready to go?" she hoped they would keep in touch. "Why would you owe me a ride?" "My car is a red Mustang." she giggled. "You know i hope everything goes good tonight i don't fell lke a guy being a jerk to me." As they walked out side she pointed at her car across the way. "It's that one." it was shiny and looked brand new. "I love my car."

"Well," Started Nathan, "You're giving me a ride which means you're doing me a favor. I always return favors, since I'm not that great at verbal thank yous." He laughed. "Nice car..." Commented Nathan, admiring the sweet little Mustang as they approached it. He was never really one to stock up on knowladge of cars, however he did know that Mustangs were some of the sexiest cars out there, especially in his oppinion. Plus, the red was a nice touch. "When did you get her?" asked Nathan, referring to the car.

Kaylee giggled. "Okay fair enough, I love to help people out, it makes me feel accomplished." she smiled and she walked over to her car putting her bags in the trunk, then shutting in and walking over to her door. "Thank you, i got her about four months ago, my other car is in the garage." she opened her door and got in waiting for you to get in beside her, once you got in she asked a question. "So where are we headed to Nathan?" she smiled at you.

Nathan slid into the car, shutting the door behind him. After buckling up, he pointed straight down the road that they were on. "You drive all the way down this road until you hit 16th avenue." He said, knowing it was quite a ways. They were just past 5th avenu, right now. "After you turn left there, you turn right on Lowell. My house is the only blue one on the block." He laughed, invisioning his mothers powder-blue exterior. She had adored that color up until the first week was over and she realised that the house stuck out poorly against the pale peach and beige houses that surrounded nathans house hold. At least the garauge door and the front door were white... that wasn't too far from beige...

Kaylee buckled up and turne the car up looking out her mirrors to make sure nobody was coming, he pulled out and started heading toward 16th avenue. "What kind of music do you listen to are are in to at the moment?" she giggled and kept her eyes on the raod once they reached 16th she turned left, then turned right on lowell. "Oh i think i see your house" she smiled and pointed to the blue house. "It's that one right?"

"Yep." Said Nathan, unbuckling himsefl before they'd even reached the driveway. "As to your question about music: I love anything and everything." He answered with a smile. "Lately I've been way into some underground bands and upbeat music. Have you heard of So Sweet the Hour? They're one of the many at the top of my list." He laughed. Nathan knew she probably hadn't heard of them. Although they had just recently gotten a song onto the radio, it still had yet to circulate completely. But that was alright. maybe he'd spread some word himself.

"Awesome" she giggled as they pulled into the driveway. "I love anything that gets my attention, and I haven't heard of them but they sound like they have good music." she smiled and put the car in park. "So i'll pick you up in an hour?" she smiled and looked at you.

"Ya, look them up." Said Nathan with a smile. "And ya, an hour." he reached out a slender hand and opened the car door. "See ya then," He said, stepping out of her car and onto the sidewalk in front of his house. Neither of his parents were home, so he didn't bother staying off of his fathers' fresh-cut grass. Dashing across the loamy lawn, Nathan shoved a hand into the pocket of his skinny jeans. The keys to his house were out and ready as soon as the teen stepped up to the door. He unlocked it, stepped in, then re-locked the door behind himself. Excitement was suddenly bubbling inside of him, thinking of the new event that he had planned for the night. Kaylee was definitly the kind of person that he always enjoyed talking to, so clubbing with her would surely be fun.
