((Hm...well, I'm thinking you should...because the pirates need specifics of the ship in order to attack.))

((Good point. I'll start.))
A head of flowing crimson locks followed the body of a pale, startlingly beautiful girl. Jazelle had a small smirk on her plump lips as she walked around her large ship. The sails were a forest green and the wood was dark, red, and would soon be polished thanks to the crew hard at work on the ship. As she walked, Jazelle found the captain, fondly known as her brother. "Beautiful work Allen. It's a fine masterpiece." She complimented him as he stood at the wheel of the ship.

He nodded and smiled a genuine and heartfelt smile. "I suppose. It can't compare to father's though." He let his smile slip away as his sister shook her head.

"You fool." Her voice was joking and light hearted. "He'd be shocked and proud. You've outdone him. Now can't you make this thing hurry up? Mother is waiting for our long awaited arrival back at the kingdom." Jazelle giggled and hugged her brother from behind. He nodded and turned the wheel of the ship. Jazelle walked away from her brother and stood at the front of the ship, letting her violet corseted dress flow out behind her like a wisp of wind. Out on the horizon, Jazelle felt something was amiss, however with her brother's hardworking crew of at least a hundred, her worries were dismissed.

((A: I'm not sure if startingly is a word...but it worked. B: I'm sorry it's so poor. My brain is a bit of a mess.))

In the distance, on the horizon, trouble for the ship and its crew was indeed brewing. It was a little foggy in the distance. Out of that fog, suddenly, burst a magnificent, medium-sized ship, made of sleek, dark, blackish wood. On the top mast was the oh-so familiar black Jolly Roger flag, waving with the wind.

Surprisingly, unlike most pirate ships, this one didn't attack right away--it instead used its smaller size and speed advantage to charge at the larger ship, intending to circle it and drive it back--and its deck wasn't filled with screaming, hooting, buff men. Instead, there was only one visible pirate on the deck, manning the wheel.

A female pirate. Wearing the captain's hat...

Bringing her eyes up slowly, Jazelle noticed the disturbance in the beautifully colored sky. She scrunched her face together in curiousity as she leaned forward, over the edge of the ship and inwardly squeaked, her skin tingling and shivering with nerves. Quickly, as her heels clacked against the wood of the ship, Jazelle ran to her brother and grabbed his shoulder, forcing him to turn around and look at her in the eyes. "Allan we have to move. Fast!" she warned, already a nervous wreck like the girly girl that she was.

Allan seemed to have seen behind her as his eyes widened in shock as well. His voice boomed over the deck of his creation. "hoist out the sails!" He commanded. "Prepare for a possible battle!" Allan pursed his lips and turned back to his little sister. "I'll make sure we protect you." He promised as he watched the ship draw nearer to his own. Allan knew his ship was too big to possibly out run that ship but he had to try.

Jazelle slowly nodded and turned her attention back to the ship. If she kept eye on it, the ship, she'd know when the attack was coming. However, even in her girlish fright, Jazelle knew she had to help defend her friends and her brother. So without another moment's notice, Jazelle dashed down the steps leading to the lower top deck and into her own cabin next to her brother's quarters.

It was there that Jazelle striped down and quickly and grasped a cream colored bodice and simple tight fitting brown slacks. Then Jazelle gripped ahold of her leather brown boots, slipping them on as well. "Allan's going to get a surprise from this." She said to no one imparticular as she grasped a metal object under her bed, tying the sword around her hips next to her. It was then that Jazelle dashed back out of her quarters and up to the deck behind her brother's wheel.

The female captain, having noticed she'd been spotted, sped the boat around in front of the larger boat, then back around it again, with surprising speed. It had no external oars and seemed to go on a never-ending wind...

Like a predator circling prey, the smaller ship swam around the large ship in a semi-wide circle, providing room to drop anchor and move around a bit, but nothing more. For a pirate ship, it was surprisingly elegant-looking.

At this close distance, now, it was easy to see that the ship sported a female captain. It was a rarity--a nearly awe-inspiring sight.

Jazelle clenched her teeth together and gently moved her brother from the wheel, spinning it with all her might. Unfortunately, the boat didn't get very far as one of the crew seemed to have dropped anchor. They'd soon find out who that moron was. Before Jazelle could react, the enemy ship was right in front of them. She frowned and let out a growl lke sigh. "Dammit!" She cursed and rushed to the front of the boat and lashing her sword from her side. Jazelle stopped and stummbled backwards however, noticing what the first thing she saw on the ship. "A girl?" She muttered, eyebrows squished together in confusion.

((Here's a picture of her. At the least the closest resemblence I could find.

))

The girl paused her ship, not bothering to drop anchor. She strolled up to the very front of the ship, and leaned over, resting her elbows on the railing near the front of the ship.

"So sorry to bother you." She had a soft, melodic voice. "But we haven't had a good haul in days. Kindly hand over any precious treasures you have and we won't have to resort to violence."

It was such a strange approach for a pirate to take.

Jazelle scoffed and smirked, her eyes dancing with amusement. It'd been a while since she herself got to fight someone. "Sorry, you'll have to pick on a different ship. This is my brother's and I'd rather die than watch the likes of a girly pirate take his masterpiece." She smiled coyly and flipped her sword in her hand. "If you want it that bad, come get it." Jazelle giggled and batted her eyelashes. The female priate was rather capturing but very dangerous. That much Jazelle was sure of.

The girl arched an eyebrow.

"I'd think twice about that if I were you, dear. Because if a nonviolent surrender isn't given, we will without a doubt kill nearly every single person on this ship, take everything there is to take, and sink it. With the surrender, we only want valuables, and we will leave you, the boat, and your crew intact."

As she spoke, there was shuffling heard, from an open hatch that led below deck on the pirate's ship. It was obvious there were more of them.

There was something about the way the female spoke that made Jazelle shake in her boots. What if her brother and friends were in real danger? Her smirk fell and she let her sword dangle to her side. "Isn't there...any other way? Please even a pirate has a heart." She started, looking around and glancing at her reflection in her sword. "Me and you. Alpha female of both our ships. We'll fight. If we disarm each other, the challenge is over. If I win, you leave. If you win...take anything besides the treasures. They're for our mother..." Jazelle explained and stepped onto the ledge of her own ship, staring intently at the other girl.

Her brother merely watched his sister's courageous behavior in awe. He prayed she would be the winner of this battle.

The girl scowled. "I'm not in fighting shape at the moment, and I won't be for another weeks' time." She hefted one of her legs up over the side of her ship's railing. It was in a homemade splint, and heavily damaged. Her knee looked dislocated.

She hid her limp quite well when she walked, though...

"I'm afraid I cannot fight you."

A loud gasp emerged from Jazelle's lips before she jumped over the ship's ledge and onto the other ship, inspecting the pirate's leg closely. "Looks like a cannonball smashed it." Jazelle observed. "If you leave my brother's ship alone...I'll come and help you recover. I'll bring my share of gold and jewels and treasures." Jazelle frowned. Even if the captain wasn't able to fight, her crew certainly was. And at this point, Jazelle could see part of her crew emerging. Looking back at her brother, the redhead could see his depression. She gave him a encouraging smile. "Please?" Jazelle begged, turning her attention back to the captain.

The girl had visibly recoiled when Jazelle hopped over onto his ship, almost toppling over due to her standing and fully balancing on one leg. "I have a doctor on my crew. The problem is lack of supplies," she muttered, wincing when she moved her leg back down. "Which is why I wanted some valuables...and my leg is why I asked for something peaceful."

She shifted upon hearing the shuffling below and stomped on the deck with her good leg. There was a loud squeal from below and more scrabbling. It appeared that someone had come out to listen, but she had scared him away, back to his room, maybe.

With a giggle, Jazelle leapt backwards and to her own ship. "We have supplies. And I'm sure I could at least be of some assistence. But if you're so reluctant, we'll be on our way and you'll be without anything." She declared and shrugged her shoulders. "I'm sure my brother's crew of about 100 could easily do something to your crew. It's my offer or bust." Jazelle smirked again, realizing she'd taken the upper hand somehow.

It was amusing how quickly the tables turned between the two females. She'd never allow her brother's crew to kill anyone, but enormous wounds didn't count.

"Threats don't work on me." The girl's voice, previously calm and quiet, had turned cold, and caustic. She straightened herself, bringing her injured leg back down to the ground. "Momo. Sinclair."

She said this quietly, and in a normal tone, but in less than a second, something started to appear, floating in the air next to her. It was a dark shadow, and it formed into the visage of a young boy...suspended in midair beside her.

The boy grinned, folding one leg over the other--he was still floating! "You called?"

The moment he appeared, a young man, sixteen to nineteen, scuttled out from below deck. He was tall and skinny, with light blue eyes and spiky brown hair.

He looked incredibly meek, and had a very slight slouch.

With a hard sneer, Jazelle raised an eyebrow and scoffed, smirking. "I'm not afraid of your crew." She muttered coldly, a new side emerging from the princess. Jazelle felt her own crew coming forward slowly and she held up a hand tight against their arrival. "Back." Jazelle shook her head and closed her beautiful amber eyes. Slowly they opened and she stared at the more creepier of the two boys before moving her gaze slowly to the meek little boy and then to the confusing and bewildering pirate captain. "What are they anyways?" She raised both eyebrows now and snickered.

The girl nodded at the young boy floating beside her. "That's Momo. Momo's a demon--an imp. He can control shadows, and fire...and use them as weapons."

To demonstrate, Momo held out his hand, and a small flame appeared, dancing above his palm. There was a playful grin on his face. "Enchanté."

The girl then glanced back at the meeker boy. "And that's Sinclair...a mute. He's an elf, with control of water. He can also fly...wings are hidden, at the moment. He is my main weapon at sea...he can summon whirlpools that swallow ships up..."

Sinclair shuffled his feet and didn't come any closer, his big blue eyes fixed on the deck on of the ship.

Slowly but surely, Jazelle was losing her patience. She was getting dizzy from all the table turning they were doing. She hopped over the small distance of the ships again and circled Sinclair carefully. "He's adorable." She murmured, nodding in aproval before getting close to his face, tilting her head. "You're not the only secret weapons though." Jazelle shrugged, leaping back to her own ship as two members of her brother's crew walked up.

"This first man," Jazelle paused, holding her hand out delicately to a tall, firmly built blonde man, smirking. "is Isoba. He is a shadow manipulater too." She explained, resting her hand on his forearm. Jazelle then turned her head to the other man, younger looking with a cold gaze in his eyes. "This is Samanya." Jazelle fluttered her lashes to the black haired god-like creature. "Samanya has the toned skills of a psychic."

Jazelle tried to not smirk or even acknowledge she'd done something to keep them at bay, but keep the business running. "We're also fine." Jazelle explained.

"I still don't think you want to go up against us," the girl informed her. "I have a weapon that will make all of the males, and maybe some of the females, powerless. A succubus...a demon that can hypnotize the opposite sex, or females who like females..."

She propped her elbows up on the railing again. "Honestly, I don't like to fight unless I have to, and especially not when I'm injured--I feel left out. Isn't there anything you can give us? Anything valuable that you don't need?"

"Aww, come on, cap'n Dizzy," Momo groaned, circling around her. "I'm itchin' for a fight. I'm sad to say I've found you don't feel the same unless it's that time of the month..."

The girl, Dizzy, reached up and brought her fist down, semi-roughly, on Momo's head, an unamused look in her eyes. "You are one of the most annoying people I've ever had the misfortune to meet in my entire life," she drawled, pointedly.

A loud laugh came from Jazelle as she clapped her hands together in approval, watching Momo get knocked on the head. She rested her arms against the edge of her ship. "Listen...." Jazelle paused, realizing she didn't know the captain's name. She corrected her sentence structure before speaking again. "Look, we don't have anything we can give you besides the rings on my fingers. They came from suitors during our travels and I have no desire or interest to be with anyone like them." She murmured and waved her hands off before holding both of her delicate hands out to show the rings off to the Captain and her crew.

"You won't get much for them. And definitely not enough to help with your injury. But that's the most I can offer you." The princess tucked a lock of red hair behind her ears and sighed. "Sorry, the rest is for our mother and I have no problem dying to protect those things. Or facing a succubus." With a shrug, Jazelle took her gaze off her hands and back to the captain's intruiging eyes. "So it's your choice."

Samanya raised a look at Sinclair and Momo before turning his emotionless gaze to their captain's sister. She was very peculiar and seemed to be itching for a fight at the moment. This made Samanya somewhat excited. It'd been a long while since he'd been in a fight with a male.

"You can't tell me you don't have any medical supplies," Dizzy shot out, eyes narrowing. It wasn't from anger--her leg was hurting. She wasn't used to standing on it--she had a seat at her wheel. "If you can't give us treasure, then hand over your medical supplies...if I don't get this leg treated in the next few days, I'm going to have to have it removed."

"Hah! A peg-leg for you, darlin'." Momo danced away before Dizzy could hit him, and went to float next to Sinclair. "But, honestly, if she's gotta have it removed, our doctor will have to remove it without putting her under, and without pain medication..."

With a shrug, Jazelle spoke, eyes softened a little. "We have the supplies necessary for our crew." She explained and glanced back at her crew. "Follow us?" Was Jazelle's sudden response and suggestion. "We'll be back by tomorrow night and we have a great medical staff in my castle." She smiled. Jazelle folded her arms across her chest. "So long as when you're better my family and friends remain safe." With a final glance at her brother, she looked once more and the captain. "Well...?"
