Glancing over at the time Kelsey sighed, currently she was on punishment stuck in her room. It was boring, and all she had was her laptop and television which she barely watched, but the laptop she could do something with. Waiting for it to turn on she looked it over, it was a Dell Inspiron that she had gotten for Christmas. As soon as it was booted up she clicked the internet icon and typed in a chat site she had been experimenting with recently.

'I hope someone worth talking to is on,' she thought before running a a hand through her blonde hair and scrolling down through her profile. It didn't have much on it, only a short bio:

'I hope this works,' she thought before changing pages and then beginning to scroll through other pages. On this site there were so many different types of people, so far no one had really caught her eye. A couple of times a chat link popped up that had been sent to her but she ignored both of them. 'God, this is worthless,' she thought deciding that she was going to log off soon.

Joey groaned at the sight of a new girl, probably looking for a boyfriend to e-f*ck. He clicked on her profile, and laughed, clicking on 'Chat!'

He laughed again, his evil little smirk showing up. He clicked on his own profile, and posed for the computer screen, staring at his picture. He completely adored himself, and everything about himself. From his hair, to his manly parts.

He yawned, noticing it was three in the morning. Looking back at the chat, he waiting for the girl to reply, scratching the inside of his thigh lightly. 'Come on, Miss Priss," he though, groaning again.

The next time a chat screen popped up she saw a picture of an attractive guy, unlike the other senders that had tried to speak to her. Clicking it open she read the message and raised an eyebrow before laughing.

Clicking on a link she looked at his profile, '21?' she thought to herself with a nod of approval he was quite attractive. But ultimate swagga, broseph, that was something she wondered about. Kelsey hoped that he wasn't one of those over cocky guys, who only talked and thought about himself. But this was the internet, he could be just about anyone.

Going back to her own profile she clicked the upload button, and decided with a picture that was already in her computer.

Joey laughed and decided to be a huge jerk. He started typing, and went all out.

He grinned and yawned softly, staring at the screen. She was hot, but he didn't have time for girls who looked slightly slutty.
Slowly, he reached for his Dr. Pepper, and took a swig. It was loaded with alcohol, and he was debating on doing a few drugs.

Kelsey typed angrily wondering why she was even still talking to this jerk, she hated when she came across people like this on chat rooms, it seemed like they set out to ruin your whole night. Running a hand through her hair she glared at the screen and then re-read the sentence.


Kels <3; And don't compliment me and insult me at the same time.

Joey laughed and logged off, leaving the girl alone. He shut his laptop and set it aside, laying on his bed. "I'll smoke in the morning," he muttered and rolled over to his side, looking at his small TV. The girl's image was plastered in his mind, but he wiped that away when he looked up at his special posters.
Like any other normal man, he felt a shiver run up his spine as he became satisfied with those posters. "Life's good."

When she saw that he had logged off on her she let out a growl, 'Idiot,' she mumbled before checking her Facebook and then turning off her computer. 'I should have just gone to a party,' she thought with a sigh before turning on her television and settling in bed. After a while she was ready to sleep, there was nothing else for her to do. Kelsey got up and went to the bathroom before turning off her lights before getting in bed and drifting off to sleep.

Joey woke up, around 4PM the next day. You would normally think a guy at his age would have a job, and be scrambling to get dressed because he was late? Nah. Joey had a secret. He wrote novels, and painted for a living. But, not your normal novels and paintings. He wrote heavy erotica, and painted beautiful, naked women. He never degraded them, he just loved the female body, as most men did. He also had a love for photography, but only a few pictures made it high, because he'd rather not have photography with his name, floating high on the internet, and through-out the world.

Kelsey slept for a few hours before waking up and groaning, she had to get ready for work. The only reason why she was up so early was because they were getting a shipment in and she had to open. Plus it took her forever to get ready, jumping in the shower she washed her hair and got dressed in a dress with tights and boots that she had bought from the place that she worked. Once she was finished she made herself a quick breakfast and then headed off.

Joey walked outside, his camera in his hand. Taking out his phone, he went to the internet and logged onto the chat site. Checking the onliners, he found no one interesting. He put his phone back in his pocket, staying logged on in case someone got on who WAS interesting. Looking around, he spotted a few birds at the neighbors birdbath. He crouched down, and fixed his camera's aperture, then took one picture focused on the birdbath, with it centered. The other picture, the birdbath was offset, to the left, and out of focused. He'd have to check which one he liked more, after working in his darkroom.

Getting out of her car she let herself into the clothing store and looked at the clock, the shipment wasn't due for about half an hour so she got everything ready before sitting down because there wasn't anything else to do. Sighing she pulled out her phone not knowing what to do, everyone else was still sleeping. Biting her lip she typed in the website from the night before even though she was still annoyed by what had happened.

Joey felt his phone vibrate, and took it out.

'Kels <3 is now online'

"UGH!" he groaned, rolling his eyes. Why can't it be a normal site, where people had to ACTUALLY add the other person? Why couldn't it just be normal?

Joey put his phone away, knowing she was probably going to message him something nasty. He walked around, then decided to go in and smoke a joint, and maybe call a good one-night-stander in. Yawning, he walked into his house, pulled out his bottle, and took a swig.

As she scanned over the screen she saw the familiar name from the night before and she scowled, "There's no way I'm talking to him again," she thought before running a hand through her hair and tugging at her tights, they were a light gray with rose printing and it matched her dress perfectly. 'I want something to do,' she groaned before resorting to looking through the clothes.

As Joey smoked, he filled up his apartment. He called up Jessica, and she agreed to come over in an hour. In the meantime, he messaged the girl.

_Joey_ : so where are u in the us?

He was being completely serious. Ever heard the term 'Vodka makes you sincere?' Well, that was the truth. The girl had no clue what she was in for. When Joey got high and drunk, he told people the most embarrassing things about himself.

Feeling her phone vibrate she looked down at it and saw a message, it was from the boy from the night before. Rolling her eyes she wasn't going to reply but there wasn't really anything else for her to do until the shipment came in.

Kels<3; Is that really any of your business? I mean, I'm a poser I'd probably just make it up anyways.

When someone made her angry they mostly got nothing but sarcasm or attitude from her. It was something she was trying to work on but she didn't even know the guy so she really could care less.

Joey laughed out loud, and started typing back, going slower, making sure he didn't accidentally put in random letters.

_Joey_: well ur pretty hot, so i was going to see, if u were close enough, if ud want to join me

He sat in the middle of his kitchen, too high to move. He looked up and saw his faucet leaking, and stared for a while. He was out of it, and he liked it.
His mother died when he was sixteen. She was trying to give birth to what would have been his baby sister, but neither of them survived. After her death, Joey's life went down the drain.

Feeling her phone vibrate again she sighed and pulled it out, reading the message she laughed out loud.

Kels<3; Riiiiiiiight. I live somewhere in California. Where do you live?

Kelsey ignored what he said for a reason, she wanted to see if he was going to say anything remotely interesting and that wouldn't happen if she acknowledged that. Going through some more clothes she figured that she could get some fun out of it.

He waited a minute, then started laughing hard.

_Joey_: tht was sarcasm

Feeling a bit warm, he got up and walked outside. A cool breeze ran through him as he stood there. He had to hold on to the doorway to keep himself from falling over.

_Joey_: all the hot chicks are there. fuuuck

He laughed to himself and stared at the sky. He didn't trust himself using the film camera when 'under the influence,' so he decided to just stand there and watch the sky.

Pulling out her phone again she laughed, at least he wasn't being a dick like the night before. Pausing for a moment she thought up a reply, not really sure what to say.

Kels<3; Yeahh, I guess we are, too bad. Now you're gonna have to find someone else to join you.

Kelsey placed her phone back in her pocket before looking up to seeing a van pull into the parking lot. Running a hand through her hair again she walked to the door and unlocked it before opening it up so they could bring the new clothes inside. When they came through she directed them to the back room where the items would go.

Joey closed the door and lay down on his kitchen. Staring at the ceiling, his vision blurred. Slowly, he drifted to sleep, his body becoming numb. This had happened before, and when he woke up, he'd be sober. But, for now, he was drunk, horny, and passed out on his kitchen floor.
In his dream, he was on cloud nine. Sexy women surrounded him as he ate chocolate cream pie, and watched the women strip. He stayed in his dream, for he was content and happy with the dream that was worthy of 'Morning wood.'

After a few times of checking her phone Kelsey decided that he had given up, which was probably the best. Putting her phone away she counted the boxes and signed for it before watching two other workers come in, luckily she wouldn't have to work all day.

An hour later, he heard Jessica knock on the door. "Go away!" he yelled, and she just knocked louder. "Go away, you insignificant loose woman!" he screamed, still on his kitchen floor. Picking up his phone, he started texting, ignoring Jessica's yells and hollers.

_Joey_: how do u get a horny hooker to go away?

He knew she was going to be pissed at the fact he was messaging her, but truth be told, all he wanted was someone to talk to. All he really wanted was a friend, for Christ's sake. Was that so much to ask for?

When Kelsey felt her phone vibrate again she groaned wondering if this kid was going to keep messaging her. When she read the message she couldn't help but laugh.

Putting her phone back in her pocket she went to balance the cash register, her co-workers weren't her favorite people in the world so it would be a long 6 hours.
