Biography: Born and raised in a middle class family Hayate never enjoyed the finer things of life but never found it in himself to be envous though he had befriended one who lived such a life. During the tenth year of the boy's life an opportunity arrose in his father's career, one that was just 'too good to pass' and he found himself many miles away from everything he had ever known. His mother left when he was fifteen, he never bothered questioning his father, he knew after three years of broken promises his father would quit drinking she had finally had enough. And he never blamed her. A week after his eighteenth birthday, and two months after he had proposed to who he thought was the girl of his dreams, he loaded their boxes in his car and set off back to his hometown for a fresh start.

Bio:After her childhood friend had moved away from her hometown Kaya thought it was only best to move on.Kaya was born into a rich family therefor her parents had an arrange marriage for her at the age of 12.Kaya's family are all Kitsunes though her father thought if Kaya married a human things would be perfect.Kaya had to live with her human fiance for a couple of years so once she was older than she was she could marry him.On the first night they were together her fiance had raped her.Though he covered her mouth while doing so,so that Kaya's parents wouldn't find out what he had done.He had continued raping her until to the day she figured out she was pregnant.But even when she was pregnant he continued raping her and was rougher with her.Kaya then knew she had to runaway before she would have to get married to him.

"Kimiko!" Called the sandy blonde up the wooden staircase that lead to the bedroom he had occupied throughout his teenage years, "Kimi are you up there!" He wrinkled his nose in an unseen playful irritation; it was just like her to keep him waiting. "Yea, yea! Give me a sec!" After a moment the tip of almond ear could be seen and after a semi-struggle with some unknown object upstairs the entirety of the young woman's form appeared in the hollow opening; a brilliant smile painted her lips as the faint blue of eyes shined with the sunlight that filtered through the room. Hayate gave a soft shake of his head but allowed a grin of his own to accompany her face, "is that the last of the boxes?" He questioned. With a gentle nod of her head she proceeded to join him at the base of the wooden steps, the two only exchanging an eager smile as she proceeded to the car.

As he took his place behind the wheel he leaned his head back against the seat, closing his eyes, his cheeks inflated with an exaggerated release of air. With a turn of his head his now opened lids fixed on the oval of his fiancée's smiling face. Their leaving had been planned for quite some time but they never dreamed it would come so soon and so easily. For three years he and his father had lived in this unholy seeming house, and it was in this final year the man had finally become almost intolerable to live with. A month before his graduation Hayate had proposed to the most beautiful woman he'd ever meet and promised her they'd go far away. Naturally when the plans were discussed to the boy's father he strongly objected, claiming nothing would leave his house without his consent. Throughout the next couple of weeks Hayate monitored the comings and goings of his father and when he felt the time was right they loaded up their worldly possessions and headed towards the small town of his roots to start a life together.

With a swift movement of his wrist the roar of the engine was silenced as he opened the car door but he remained, "So, uh, I don't have a house for us yet...but...I did work out a deal with a pretty decent hotel." He paused for a moment searching her face for whatever it might offer him, "Is that ok for now?" She said nothing at first, turning her head as she opened the door, but the lightheartedness in her eyes told him it was fine. "Of course. You'll work things out, you always do." And with that they proceeded into the lobby.

Once the boxes had been transferred from the car to the room they lay sprawled out on the queen sized bed. "This is nice." Kimiko sighed as she closed her eyes, a smile illuminating the planes of her face. Hayate nodded in agreement, "it is." He stated. The minutes passed and soon he found himself on his feet briefly catching his reflection in the mirror adjacent from the bed. The steady rise and fall of the form next to him made it clear she has been more exhausted from the drive than she had let on and was now in a deep sleep. He thought it criminal to wake her and merely left a scribbled note he had went to the grocery store for a few items and wouldn't be long. With that he fetched the keys to his car and followed the familiar roads to the only store his mother would shop. Hayate sat for a moment merely staring at the entrance doors as memories of his childhood flooded his mind; still he entertained the thoughts as he browsed the isles and for the first time in a long time she crossed his mind.

"I want all errands done today!Yuzai called out to all of the servants.He wanted all the errands done today so all they had to do tomarrow was set everything up.He was rushing things to fast were Kaya's exact thought.She peeked through the door that was 3 inches opened from her room spying on his every movement.Kaya felt Yuzai was controlling her family and not to mention he had Kaya wrapped around his finger.When Yuzai turned around toward Kaya's room Kaya quickly and gently closed her door.please say he didn't see me.

Kaya was terrifyed of the man.He had raped her and abused her many times and now she was carrying his child?Why was she keeping the baby?She was keeping the baby because she didn't like the fact of killing a baby.Even if the father is a rapist.Kaya was currently around 4-5 months along and her baby bump was showing.Kaya rubbed her stomache as she leaned against her door making sure if he opened or tried to open her door,the door would not budge.She heard no footsteps so Kaya then went over toward her bed.Yuzai then entered her room.He had a smirk on his face.He gently closed the door behind himself and getting onto the bed and ontop of Kaya,touching her baby bump stomache."So how is my baby boy inside their?"He asked with a girn."The gender is unknown so its not your baby boy!"Kaya shouted and pushed Yuzai off of her.

Yuzai then got back ontop of her holding her wrists tightly so she wouldn't move,making bad bruising onto her wrists.He then had this away with her and afterward fell asleep.Kaya couldn't believe he would still have his way with her and so roughly while she had his child inside of her.Kaya then quietly began sneaking out of his bed and packing her things once she got everything backed she sighed.But when she did He was behind her and had pulled her hair."And where are you going?"
Kaya then hit him with her suitcase and stormed out of the room.One of her butlers was waiting outside with one of the cars.She quickly got in and he drove off as quickly as possible."Miss we'll be staying at a hotel i hope that is alright."
"Thats fine Jacob,thank you."She said quietly.While Kaya watched outside leaning back into the leather seats of the car she feel asleep during the car ride.Kaya had suddenly woke up when the car stopped.The butler and Kaya stepped into the hotel and Kaya had her own room.Though she completely forgot that she needed to run and get a few things at the store and told Jacob her butler.

Jacob got back into the car as did Kaya and they headed to the grocery store.When Kaya was in their Hayate then appeared into her head which made her smile."Alright i need crackers...and ginger ale."Kaya said to herself.While looking for crackers and ginger ale she saw Hayate but thought it was only her imagination due to the night she had been through.She had bruising all over her body except her face.But anyone could see her bruises.They were brutal and looked painful.

"Geez....how many different brands of crackers are there...really..." Hayate thought thought to himself, his ears twitched slightly with the small sounds of the store and with his growing agitation, he knew Kimi liked only a certain brand of crackers and for the life of him he'd forgotten the moment he stepped into the store. As he looked at the variety before him absentmindedly he swatted at tassel that twitched with his ears, a groan began to form in the depths of his throat when a certain movement caught his attention. Slowly emerald eyes lifted to the face of a girl even more familiar to him than even Kimiko's, an adolescent excitement beckoned his heart to flutter with joy. "Ka...Kaya!" He exclaimed, as he quickly moved to catch up to her. "My God! It's really you..." Hayate breathed as he stood before, "how....how have you been?" As the words left his lips he was unsure if that was the correct question to ask.

When Kaya saw it really was Hayate and he was acting to her she then covered the bandage on her right wrist with her left hand and hid it behind her back."oh me...its going ok."Kaya said with a smile.Kaya sounded unsure when she said it.She made it sound like her life wasn't going good at all.Kaya had now her arms behind her back letting her visable baby bump stomache."What about you?How have you been?"She asked cheerfully.Kaya had liked Hayate for many years in their childhood and she still liked him.No.She loved him.

Again his twitched with a movement he was sure only he had detected, she could never lie to him and then she knew. There was a certain heaviness to her voice, as if the weight of the lie as it passed through her lips was almost too much to bear. The points of his shaped to concern and uncertainty but as quickly as it arose he replaced it, in hopes she had been looking elsewhere for those brief moments. "Yea...things turned out alright." Hayate replied unable to mask entirely the concern that was sure to be freely bleeding from his eyes. It had been eight long years since they had seen each other last yet despite this difference she merely looked like an older, more mature, version of the little girl he'd left behind; despite the sad defeated expression he saw lingering in her face he still found he was just as in love with her as he'd thought he was so long ago. "Are....you here with a boyfriend?" Hayate finally asked, giving her silent acknowledgement he saw but made it clear he didn't intend to pry if she'd rather leave things unsaid.

"Thats good."Kaya said with a smile keeping her hands behind her back."No i don't actually have a boyfriend.Im just here with one of my parents' butlers to help me around.RIght Jacob."
Jacob nodded.Jacob looked to be around 35 but he was a good friend of Kaya's even if he was a butler.
While Kaya kept her hands behind her back the bruise on her right wrist was beginning to bleed from her nails digging into the skin which was a bit painful and Kaya got nervous if Hayate could spell the blood from her wrist along with all her other bruises she had on her body.She dug her nails into her wrist because she was nervous since Kaya was still in love with Hayate.
"My boyfriend he was actually...."Kaya was about to talk to him but stopped thinking she would only be a burden in Hayate's good going life."He abandoned me so im doing everything on my own,nothing to worry about since i have my good loyal friend Jacob."
Jacob only smiled.Jacob remembered Hayate from when Kaya and both Hayate were younger.

"Don't lie to me Kaya. You know you never could." His voice was soft yet stern as he gently coaxed her right limb from behind her small frame, his lips momentarily hardened in a thin line of anger as he took note of the bruises on her arm. With a hard yank he tore the collar from his shirt; ripping it once more he wrapped the wound and tied it securely. His stomach tightened at the intoxicating copper of her blood and even more so that she felt she had to protect a man who would hurt so badly. Had Hayate been a man of more violent temperament the anger that now began to burn in chest would have seeped through his eyes or his expression, but he felt he contained it well. The last thing she needed was to feel she had upset or angered him after such a long time apart, "you shouldn't feel an obligation to protect him...."

When Hayate told her not to lie to him she felt like she had to because she didn't want to be the person to ruin his good life.When Hayate bandaged her wrist she only then looked at him of the corner of her eye.She looked like she had been through hell and back.Kaya was too scared now to talk.If she talked she felt like she would upset Hayate.Kaya did feel like she betrayed Hayate by lying to him."Im not protecting him...i don't want you to worry.I'll end up being a burden and ruining your life."Kaya said in a calm but sad voice.

A sad smile played his lips as he softly shook his head, "Ruin my life? It would take a fierce string of bad luck and an awful lot of trying to do that." He gently cupped her face in his hands, turning it to look at him, he held her gaze for a brief period of time without saying a word, "It’s quite impossible I assure you for someone such as yourself to become a burden to me. You should know that even now, I'm still here for you....and always will be."

When Hayate cupped Kaya's face in his hands,Kaya slightly blushed a bit while he only looked at her not saying a word for a brief period of time.Kaya actually thought he would kiss her.When He spoke Kaya was dissapointed he didn't kiss her,but then again why would he kiss her was Kaya's question she pondered in her head. she listened to Hayate's words and nodded."T-Thanks but you don't need to worry i'll be fine."Kaya said with a smile but she didn't even know if she'll be okay.

"Just as a blind man would be fine in the Sahara." The words seemed to slip from his thoughts and into the air, but once it was said He didn't regret that she'd heard. "Do you remember the coffee shop we use to go to as kids?" He knew she would remember the very place in which he spoke so he bother not wait for an answer, "I think you and I should go and catch up. We'll get one of the more private booths in the back so we can discuss anything." Hayate paused a moment, again searching her face, "What do you think of that?"

When Kaya heard what Hayate said she just smiled."Yes i remember that place.Im glad its still around."Kaya said cheerfully."I'd like to catch up with you.I think thats a great idea Hayate."Kaya said cheerfully."You always had great ideas."Kaya said with a smile."But when we do go i can only have water or if they have juice.i can't drink coffee."Kaya said gesturing her 5 month pregnant belly baby bump.

"Of course." Came the man's reply, it had been so long since they'd been able to just sit and talk. He remembered as children they would often slip out of the house, leaving only a note for his mother, and dart to the coffee shop. This had become such a regular thing as they slammed the door behind them, their small chests heaving from the nonstop run, the waitresses would only smile and take them to their favorite table where they would celebrate their victory with a toast from their coffee cups; often making displeased faces when the hot bitter liquid touched their taste buds. "You can ride with me if you'd like, I'll be out in a minute." With this he turned and quickly gathered the items he had come in search of and made his way out to the vehicle.

"Okay."Kaya said with a smile.Though she remembered she had to buy a few things too.She grabbed saltines,and ginger ale along with a few different flavors of tea such as mint,cinnamon,vanilla chai tea.Once she brought them to the cashier for her to check them she then payed for them and took her bag of items gently from the cashier."Thank you."She then waited for Hayate until he was done.Kaya had a feeling Hayate had a girlfriend or even a wife.She was happy for him but she wish she could've been his wife.

"Thanks! Have a good one!" Hayate called behind him to the cashier as the automatic door stalled a moment before coming to a close. Quickly he made his way to the car, fumbling slightly with his keys before unlocking her door, "sorry 'bout that." He apologized with a shy smile as he held open the door. "Its been so long." Thought the man as he turned onto the street once more heading in the direction of the shop.

"I remember." He spoke at last, they had driven in silence until up to this point. "I remember living here with mom and dad.....things were so much easier then." There was a sadness that lined his words unbeknownst to him as he thought of then and what his family had inevitably become. "I missed you....so much then..."

Kaya giggled."Its alright."Kaya said with a smile and got into his car.Once she was in the car she belted herself in.Jacob got into his car and followed them behind.Jacob was not just a butler.He was pretty much Kaya's bodyguard.
When Hayate began talking about he remembered living here Kaya just smiled.But when she saw sadness on his face she knew their must've been something that changed his life.

"I've missed you very much when you had moved away."Kaya said with a smile.Kaya soon would tell Hayate what had gone on in her life ever since Hayate left.Most of it was not good news.But Hayate said he would always be there for her so she would finally tell someone how she has felt throughout all of this.

“But that was then.” A stiff film enveloped his voice and his face seemed to harden has he fought to disregard the memories for now. He felt the muscles in his face relaxed as he was reminded by the woman that now sat next to him, reminding himself she needed him now more than ever.

Hayate parked the vehicle and executed the engine, but never bothered reaching for the door. “Brings back so many memories.” Smiled the man before exiting the car and opening the passenger door. A blonde waitress turned her head in the direction of the door as the small bell signaled a new arrival, a broad grin stretched across the middle aged woman’s face; “Right this way.” She beckoned, seating them at the same table they so long ago daily requested. There was a small bit of small talk exchanged between the waitress and Hayate, but there was no order. She already knew. It was now his childhood friend received his undivided attention. “Tell me everything.” He insisted gently.

Kaya just leaned back in the seat.Kaya very much loved Hayate.She would sometimes stare at him.But only for half a second before he would look back at her and she would get flustered and look down.Even if they were just kids then back then,she knew then she loved him.But her parents wouldn't allow things to go her way.

Kaya unbelted herself and stepped out of the car when Hayate opened the door on the passanger's side.When Kaya sat down she sighed with relief.She didn't think she could stand long since sometimes her baby bump made it hard for her to stand for a long time.Even 10 minutes hurts.As she heard Hayate demanding to tell her everything Kaya glenched her skirt a bit."Are you sure you want to hear all of this.Most of it is a bit..visual."Kaya said stirnly.

The man found his teeth instinctively clench in anger, her actions making the pain of her preset life very evident, but he released them and softened his features in hopes of making her feel more comfortable with her decision in confessing her secret to him. "I can handle it." Hayate insisted.

Just as the words left his lips a small chirping emitted from inside his pocket, had he not known who the cause of this was the man would have found himself quite annoyed. Quickly jerking the small device from his pocket he scanned the message, obviously from Kimi, and speedily replied. "Sorry." A groan held the tail of his apology as he stuffed the device into a random pocket.

When Hayate had told her he could handle it she hoped he could."Alright...where to begin."Kaya said with a nervous laugh.Before she began she stopped hearing his phone go off."Its alright...sorry for having you hear about my issues."Kaya said nervously.Kaya probably knew the girl Hayate was in love with called.Kaya knew Hayate didn't have the same feeling she had for him."After you moved away,both of my parents had forced me into an arranged marriage.Unlike me my fiance was human and had no kitsune form at all.My father thought it would be a perfect idea for me to marry a human."Kaya said letting out a deep breath ever now and then.Not because she was nervous but because the baby she was carrying was kicking hard.She had both of her hands onto her stomache rubbing it gently.

"My parents had let my fiance live with me for a couple of years so once i got to the age where i was old enough to get married.My fiance though slept in my room.Which was the worst idea possible."Kaya said clentching onto her skirt tighter."The first night...my fiance had raped me.And not just once.He did it over and over again to about 8 times.He had covered my mouth so i couldn't yell for help or scream to call my parents since they were in the house.He had raped me for many years until now..well before i ranaway today that is.Even while im pregnant he had raped me.Though when he raped me while i was pregnant he went much rougher."Kaya explained.Kaya was actually pretty worried if he hurt her baby.

All his life Hayate had been taught by his father women, lovers or friends, were to be respected, a man that didn't treat a woman with manners and respect was no man at all. His lids fell over his eyes as he exhaled a long breath, audibly segmented with the rage that began to boil in his stomach. Appearing calm and composed he once more lifted his eyes to gaze at her face. "Where will you go?" He finally managed to ask.

"Im not even sure.I need to find a house before this little one is born.Tonight im going to live at that hotel near the store we met at.Its maybe a block or two from it."Kaya said with a smile."I should probably find a house or even an apartment.As long as Yuzai is away from me i'll manage."Kaya said cheerfully.Though now that she told him everything basically she wasn't sure what to do now.Maybe she would tell Hayate to feel free to go home since he probably had someone waiting.

Hayate merely looked at her disbelief diluted the usual handsome features of his face. "....and you think he's just gonna stay away?" He asked when he found his voice, "Kaya...I don't mean to scare you, certainly not after what you've been through, but he won't just let you go." Instinctively he rose and took a place beside her, wrapping his arms around her he rested his cheek against the top of her head and gently stroked her hair. "Don't you worry." He whispered, "I'll take care of you."

Kaya slightly blushed feeling the way Hayate was on her.She bit her lip holding back any tears she had feel dwelling from remembering what Yuzai did to her.Don't cry Kaya.Kaya told herself."Im scared what im going to do."Kaya said as she began to let her tears fall.Kaya had been through much more pain then either of her parents could see.Her parents had changed and Kaya hated that.Stop crying i'll only look like a baby if i do this!Kaya told herself.

A heavy sigh passed through his lips as he buried his face deeper into her hair, taking in her scent when he inhaled again. He held her tighter and continued to stroke her hair; he promised himself he'd speak not a word as she cried. "I promise."
