She is a very clever person but due to her lust for danger she never really plans out anything. She is athletic and thinks there is nothing better than strong physical endurance.
Bio:Alikah was born to a lowly washerwoman and has four older brothers. As she was growing up Alikah had to act tough and look it so when at her school she never really bonded with the other girls and felt more at ease with the boys. She took weaponary classes at the community hall and when she was sixteen she joined forces in the local army. Not seeking the action she needed she spoke to a man who fixed her up with a job as an assassin where she slowly worked up in the rankings to get to the place she is now.

Personality: Quiet and cold. She tends to think practically about things, and doesn't care what other people think and feel. She despises nobles and people who were born to wealth and power
Bio: Natsumi's parents were both assassins who were both killed when she was 7. All her life she grew up learning from her parents and other assassins and became a fully fledged assassin herself when she was 13.
Other: Extremely gifted with poisons. She makes her own poison and puts it on all her weapons.

Alikah woke up early. She slid out of bed and padded along to the bathroom. Her home may be a modest one but if was certainly enough for her. She had a quick wash and brushed her teeth, spitting noisly into the sink. Walking back to her room she got dressed in a pair of black jeans, a white cami and a black shirt that she left unbuttoned.

Walking into the kitchen she made herself a coffee and waited for the post to arrive.

Orders from the King were a mixed blessing. On the one hand, the pay was high. The King tended to be very generous when it came to covert ops. On the other hand, it meant working for that weak idiot. Natsumi hated the king. She hated all of the royals. Working for them was frustrating and a little humiliating. She tried to think of it as her cheating them out of their money.
Getting dressed, she left her house and walked silently through the misty morning to the palace.

Just as the water in her teapot boiled there was a swift rap at her door. She walked over, checking the clock. Seven am. She opened the door to see a man standing dressed all in black. She blinked.

"Yes?" she asked uncertainly

"Special message from the King," the man said inportantly, puffing out his chest.

With a fearful glance, the guards at the gate let her in. Natsumi got a small bit of satisfaction that they were all afraid of her. But she still hated the palace. In her opinion it was the most ridiculous building in the city, if not in the country. Everything was big and elaborate and fancy and sickening. She walked past a giant hedge shaped like a swan. A swan hedge. Didn't people ahve anything more constructive to do?

Alikah stopped and raised an eyebrow. She had never gotten a special message from the King. Her heart started to beat rapidly.

"What is the message about?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The man shrugged. "Alls I know is that you have to bring your stuff and get to the palace pronto!" Alikah paused. Her stuff. What stuff? She asked the man and he blinked. "Your work stuff."

She nodded.

"Give me fifteen minutes. Tell him I'm on my way," she said boldly

She was to have a partner on his mission? Natsumi had always worked alone. Things were best that way. But the King's orders were for her to work alongside someone else for a task which he would only reveal once they were both present.
A man dressed in black who Natsumi recognised as the King's personal messanger walked in and bowed to the King. He murmured something and then bowed once more before leaving.
"Your partner is on her way," said the King serenely.
Natsumi didn't trust ehrself to speak.

Alikah quicky threw her gear into a denim rucksack that she got a few years back when travelling, it was rather shabby now and a little worse for wear, but it was very expensive and she loved it. She put the rucksack on her back and dashed out of the house, rushing towards the royal palace.

It took about a ten minute brisk trot to get to the front gates when she encountered her first problem. She forgot her ID. With a bag full of weapons what were her chances of getting in?

"Erm..." she said to the gaurd trying to think of an excuse

There was only so many times you could pace around a room, even one so big as the royal throne room. Natsumi decided to go out to the gates and wait there. Besides, it was beyond annoying not being able to let her frustration show simply because she was in the presence of the King.
When she got down to the gates, there was a girl, or rather young woman, there. From the look on the guard's face she didn't have any ID.
She sighed. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

Alikah stopped trying to explain to the gaurd why she was here and looked at the woman who was speaking to her. She had no idea who she was. Alikah blinked before speaking.

"My name is Alikah De Silva and I am here on special request of the King, as I have tried to explain. Who are you?" she said, a slight edge to her voice

Please don't tell me...
"You really aren't in a position to take that tone with me," said Natsumi. "You clearly have no ID and so the guards can't let you pass. The only way for you to get past here is for someone like me to vouch for you."

"My ID is at home. I don't need anyone to vouch for me. I just need someone to let the King know," she said and then looked at her. "You still haven't said who you are."

"Well then maybe I can let the King know," said Natsumi, ignoring her question. "What's your name and why are you here?"

Alikah sighed.

"As I have previously told you my name is Alikah De Silva and I am here on special request of the King. What he wants me to do I have no idea as I am not currently allowd in, am I?" she said.

"Well you must have some idea," said Natsumi. "What's your profession?" She had already guessed what the answer might be. She hoped she was wrong.

Alikah gave a quick glance to the gaurd before sighing.

"I work as an assassin," she said feeling her chances of entry slipping even further away from her.

Natsumi's face remained impassive. Of course she had been right. She was hardly ever wrong.
"Let her pass," she said to the guard. "I shall escort her to the king myself."

The gaurd paused for a moment before letting Alikah through. She nodded curtly at the gaurd before walking up to the woman. She matched her pace and looked at her, cocking her head to the side.

"Why let me through?" she asked curiously

"Because I happen to know the King is expecting an assassin," said Natsumi. "For some mission which he won't reveal until both assassins who will be given the job are present."

Alikah nodded but didn't say anything else to the woman. She was to work with her? She seemed nothing like what Alikah would like to work with. She seemed blunt and rather nasty. Alikah reasoned that must be why she is in this profession.

They walked into the palace and into the royal throne room. Alikah stepped inside and walked up to the King, bowing slightly she announced herself.

"Sorry for being late your leige, it is I, Alikah De Silva," she said inportantly.

*hmm... any ideas for the mission? I dunno what to do...*

Natsumi stood as far away from the King as she could get away with due to court etiquette. The King rose from his throne. "Now that you are both here I shall give you your mission. Remember, this is not to be revealed at all to anyone else."
As if she would tell anyone about it! She was a professional! He hardly knew anything about Black Ops.

*Hm...perhaps the princess/prince (whatever one you want) is straying away from the person that the King has chosen for them to marry and want someone from a lower class instead and the King wants rid of them? Or perhaps there are talks of people wanting to replace the King and the King wants to get rid of the person they plan to worship over him?*

Alikah nodded vigorously. This was the pinacle of her career. She wouldn't tell a soul! This could make or break her.

"Of course not you leige," she said breathlessly.

*hmm... I think I have an idea... *

"My dear daughter Celestia," said the King, a lump forming in his throat as he said her name. "Has disappeared. I believe she has been kidnapped. I have been receiving threats for some time from someone who wishes for me to abdicate and make this a democracy. And now they have kidnapped her. I want you two to bring her home. Find her, and bring her home safely."
Natsumi rolled her eyes while he sobbed into his sleeve, but stopped immediately when he straightened up. She bowed low. "Of course, your Majesty. I shall do everything in my power to bring our beloved Princess safely home."

Alikah wanted to console the King in his hour of need, the loss of the Princess, or more the misplacement of her, seemed to be crushing to him. When he managed to compose himself she saw that the other woman had bowed. Alikah did the same, leaning so far forwards she nearly lost her balance.

"I promise you that we shall return the Princess back to the Palace," she said
