Yes, they've actually come out with a comic book series for Charmed. You know, the one with the four sisters: Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige? Yeah, I'm pretty sure you've heard of them in some way or another. If not, then why are you here?
Anyway, the announcement that Zenescope was going to produce Charmed comics came around March this year, I think. Tweets were posted on Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan's Twitters about it, respectively. Once I heard that they were premiering the comics at Comic Con this year, I knew that I had to buy up the new copies.
So there are three comics out so far...Issues 0, 1, and 2. 0 and 1 were sold at Comic Con. I got both copies autographed by the creators. Issue 2 just came out at the beginning of this month, so I can't wait to pick that up.
And the artwork is like...
wow. I didn't expect it to be in full color, either.
Basically, the comics take place some time after the series finale (and not when Piper and Leo are old, mind you), showing how life goes on for the Charmed Ones. Of course their lives will never actually *be* normal since evil never sleeps. So there's just new problems in town, more demons to be vanquished, and more fandom to be maintained.
