So, I searched and searched, and not one thread popped up for those of us following a Pagan or Wiccan life path. Sooooooo, I got the bright idea to make my own!
This is my first time making a hangout, so please bare (?spelling?) with me.......
BASICS!
This is mainly a thread for -yep, you guessed it- WICCANS AND PAGANS!!!!!! *commence confetti throwing*
However, that does not mean that others won't be welcome here. Anyone who is curious, or has an interest in magick, the supernatural, or similar topics will be allowed, if they follow the RULES!!!
RULES!
Yes, there must be rules, because i have been on too man sites that have had one of these threads overrun by trolls and people who pride themselves on being ignorant. So, here are the rules, that must be obeyed or so help me there will be much terror and yelling and exploding cookies.
1. No trolling! If you wish to come here and try to start fights, or post meaningless drivel that will inevitably grate on my already minute amount of patience, then stay the hell away! Buzz off, begone, and good riddance.
2. Anyone consorting with breakers of aforementioned RULE NUMBER 1 (see above) will be mercilessly blocked, and forbidden to enter again. I will list your names, and I will keep careful tabs.
3. Don't feed the trolls. This really shouldn't have to be explained, but I see no way around it. Do not respond to them, to not post angry messages on their profile, do not pretend to ignore them by talking about them in another post. THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!!! Leave the little buggers be until I come around with the great pest control device known as blocking them from the thread. Surely there is a way of doing that, I simply have to find out how......
4. If you are an elitist Wiccan, as I call them, then you will still be welcome of you agree to not start putting others down. I have had too many threads go under because of people coming on and saying that they are the only true witches because of some rather silly and inane reason such as:
Example 1: You can only be Wiccan if you are initiated into a coven.
Example 2: You can only be Wiccan if you have sex with your coven leader.
Example 3: You can only be Wiccan if you com from a long line of witches.
And many other examples that I've had to deal with.
NONE OF THESE ARE TRUE!!!!! Buzz off!
The same goes for anyone who somehow thinks that their form of study is the only right kind of study. That is not true either. And I could really do without people who say things like that, but as long as you are civil, and keep such inflammatory thoughts to yourself.
Beyond those, I can't think of any more....Anyway, even though that may have sounded harsh, my main goal is to have a hangout where anyone can feel comfortable and happy. I will do my best to make sure of such things.
