A little cafe sits at the edge of the cultural wasteland of suburbia. One day, six kids approaching their late teens walk in. They don't know it yet, but this place will become an integral part of their everyday lives.
Of course, the cafe won't run itself.. There are four kids in their late teens and early twenties who run the place. They might not realize what they've started, but this place is about to become the cultural hub of their preppy little town.
And, of course, other people will always stop in and say hi.
Whether you want to play a big role or just walk in for a quick cup, welcome to Une Petit Coupe de l'Amour. Sometimes, a little cup of love is all you need.

1. Please try your best to keep it appropriate in here. Not only is it offensive to some viewers, but pr0n is a pretty tasteless way to communicate love. When necessary, just let the scene fade to black until morning. I don't think violence and gore will be a problem with this roleplay, but again, stay away from being too graphic. Thanks!
2. Of course, have fun and keep this thread going! Regulars and Staff must post at least once a week, but they should post at least once a day.
3. Though drama is appreciated in the storyline, catfighting and trolling are prohibited in ooc. Flobbing is also against the rules; I've gotten in trouble for it way too many times here. So only in your first post, okay!
4. Out-of-character (ooc) dialog can be posted right here, since ooc threads confuse me. Please distinguish your ooc from your in-character writing!
5. Applications for Regulars and Staff should be sent to me in a PM. Keep pictures to photos, and please use this skeleton:

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ With a name like mine you tend to either get severely bullied or act completely goofy so people think you’re a joker and not some country-girl freak, in case you haven’t already guessed, I chose to do the latter (although most people only call me Nikki, never know my real name). I’ve always been a practical joker, never taking life too seriously, even my brother Jonah teases me about the way I act so nonchalant (I love that word, don’t you? Makes me sound super smart!). I guess one of the reasons I’m like that is cause I was always left to my own devices, I wouldn’t say my parents didn’t care, just that they were always busy, ever since I was about five and they were promoted in their jobs after we moved from Texas. I soon realised that the more goofy and silly I acted, the more laughs and attention I got, so that’s who I became, the class clown (man this is sounding like I’m psychoanalysing myself now). I’ve scraped my way through school (not so big on smarts, but I’m sporty!) and if you ask anyone they’ll always say I was the one who brought a smile and laugh to the class. It’s a shame though, I’d like to be able to relax some time with others, not feel like I always have to be the happy one with boundless energy or be the one to fill the silence, everyone needs a break from that now and then, and I’m no exception.

After a middle school career of trying to keep her head down, Rosie decided to let her true colors show in her freshman year of high school. Lot of good that did her. She has a few close friends, but it's tough for her to step outside her small group because of her reputation as "the weird girl." Now that she's finally out of school, Rosie is a completely different person; it's easier for her to socialize and be herself around people who don't have a preconceived notion of her. That's why she decided to help start up a place where kids could go to just be themselves.

Rosie parked Reginald, her canary-yellow '63 Beetle, in the little gravel lot she'd dug out only a couple weeks ago. Making sure to park under the shade of one of the many trees that surrounded the lot so the car wouldn't melt in the August heat, she exited the car, her simple red flats lightly crunching the gravel as she walked. After unlocking the freshly-painted periwinkle door, she flipped the sign on the door to "Open" for the first time and smiled. Somehow, she'd pulled it off - A recent graduate from high school, she'd managed to start up her own business over the summer. A cafe, called Une Petit Coupe de l'Amour. A little cup of love.
She rolled up the sleeves of her baggy blouse and smoothed back her curly brown hair, hung her keys on the hook next to the kitchen door, and got to work preparing her workspace for customers...

Anderson felt like dying.
On the first day of work at his new job, he was late. Staring at the clock in disbelief, he sprung out of his bed and rushed to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and styling his hair, all in a matter of ten minutes. He decided to slow himself down a bit after the first couple minutes of hunting for a shirt, eventually finding a black long sleeved shirt, jeans and shoes. A few more minutes allowed him to find his keys and grab a banana on the way out of his house, his sisters giggling about how irresponsible he was. "Hey, shut up, and DO NOT come bother me at work today. I repeat: I will kill you." After he slammed the door shut, he pulled up a GPS app on his iPhone and got into his Prius.
Ten minutes later, he arrived, glancing at the coffee shop's sign to make sure he had the right place. He instinctively sniffed the air as soon as he stepped inside, spotting the girl who'd hired him. "Uh, hey. Anderson Matthews? That's who I am. I.. You.. um, hired me? Sorry for being late," he said slowly, making sure he didn't stutter over his words. He scratched the back of his neck and raised one of his eyebrows in awkward confusion. "I'm not really good at the whole introductory thing," he said, stating the obvious.

"Your hair's different," said Rosie. "Than in the interview, I mean. And, don't worry about it. About being late, that is..." She wasn't very good at "the whole introductory thing," either. She hesitated, taken a back a bit; she wasn't really sure why.
She glanced down at her mug, suddenly embarrassed. It feels strange to be the employer of someone older than me, she thought. But how to start a conversation?
She quickly glanced over at Anderson and noticed a banana peel in his left hand.
"Do you... Do you want some breakfast?" she asked. "I've got some muffins and such in the kitchen, along with a pot of coffee. Help yourself."
I'm recovering pretty well.
Her hands were still shaking.

Anderson glanced upwards at his now short hair. It had been a 'prank' of his sister Emily's to cut his hair in his sleep. He'd had to clip the edges straight so they wouldn't be too ragged, but he was pretty much over it. "Breakfast? Sounds delicious. Thank you." He smiled and threw the banana peel in the trash can, heading towards the kitchen door. As he opened one of the doors, he frowned, immediately spotting two pink aprons. For now, he only passed them by and found the coffee pot and the muffins that Rosie had mentioned. He poured himself a cup of coffee, keeping it black, and grabbed a muffin, throwing an apron over his shoulder on his way back out to the main work area.
"I don't have to wear these pink aprons, do I? This is an insult to my manhood," he said in a joking tone, pulling one of the aprons out of the kitchen. "And look, it has a cute little cup with a heart over it on the bottom. My inner girl is squealing," he added in attempts to lighten the mood. He bit into his apple, watching Rosie continue the setup of the work area.

Rosie smiled. "What, do you think I'm crazy? I'm not about to set a man loose in my kitchen." She winked. "No, your job will be manning the cash register. Basically, I make the coffee, run the business, make paninis, and pretty much run around doing everything. Noel mans the bakery. And you, my dear, will be to make sure that the customers actually pay for our hard work." She laughed. "Since we're not exactly packed yet, though, I think I'm going to go read until we get a customer. Want to come along? I'll give you the grand tour." She stood up, stretching her arms over her head, and tilted her head to the side as she awaited his reply.

 Pavlo Ambrose Lukens
At the sound of a blaring alarm the young man yawned softly. Stretching he sat up in bed and looked at his soft blue walls. The trim along the top was of baby ducks, showing this room once belonged to a newborn infant. Sighing he ran a hand threw his hair which was lighter on top then on the sides. Slipping out of bed he went over to get dressed for the day. He had to drop Noel off at the coffee shop then head off to school. Maybe he would get to hang out for a little while, but who knew. It depended on when they both got their acts together. Walking over to his closet he pulled out jeans and boots, red sweatshirt, over a plain gray v-neck t-shit, and and he was dressed for class. Pavlo did not feel the need to dress to impress at school. He was just that Greek guy there.
-----
Noel Patrick Cross was overly excited to begin work at the coffee shop. She nearly flew out of bed when her alarm went out. Grinning from ear to ear she began running around to get ready. First she swapped her large black gauges for white ones with pretty petal pink hearts in the center. It was totally fitting for the coffee shop theme. Slipping on a blue body suit, shorts, navy socks, and boots she felt ready for work. Grinning she felt she looked a little overdressed for work, but that was how first days were. Smiling at herself she pulled her hair back into a medium height messy bun. Lining her eyes with navy liner and dusting them with pink shadow she felt perfectly ready.
Running down the steps she smiled when she saw Pavlo hugging her best friend in the whole wide world she giggled. "I get to bake today!" she cheered softly. They had been inseparable since the boy had turned seven and moved to America from Greece. "Well c'mon we can't have you being late for your first day at work," he answered with a soft smile. Together they both headed out to his old white Volkswagen rabbit. It had been his parents, and they had kept it in good shape for him. They both slipped into the car and drove off to the coffee shop, which was a short distance from the river by which they lived.
Both of them got out of the car and headed into the shop. Noel was so excited, but a little late. She opened the doors and ran up to Rosie, her boss. "I am so sorry I'm late. Pavlo drove me to work, and I was trying to get all pretty for my first day. I hope your not mad," she said in a hurried voice. The black haired female held her hands together in front of her as though she were praying. A laughing voice followed behind her as Pavlo stepped in the door. "γειά σου, miss. I am supposing you are my friend's boss. My name is Pavlo, expect me to be here often. I am this girl's ride," he said with a small charming chuckle. The dark haired girl looked over her shoulder then her eyes looked back at her boss, and the new boy.

Anderson laughed. "That's good news." He pushed open the kitchen door and set the apron back on the hanger, going back to Rosie as she continued speaking. He watched her stretch and forced himself to keep his eyes on her face in respect for her. "Of course. Just in case you're in such a horrible position to where this man needs to know how to make a panini," he said, sending a wink back and taking another sip of coffee. As the door open, his eyes flew to the other woman who stepped inside, followed by another male.
"I guess we'll be working together, then. My name is Anderson," he said, then becoming interested in his cup of coffee. "If I find that I have to work with any more beautiful women like the two of you, I may have to find another job because of all the jealousy that I can't have you all," he grinned, sipping the coffee. Today isn't too bad, he thought happily, and then his heart sank. Coming in the door behind Pavlo and Noel were two girls, one of them about five inches taller than the other. Emily and Caitlin, his older sisters. "You never heard or saw me. You don't know my name," he said to Rosie and the others quickly, running into the kitchen, away form them.
Emily, the taller one, took off her sunglasses and scanned the coffee shop. "Uh, hi. We're Anderson Matthews' sisters? We brought him lunch," she said, and Caitlin giggled and swung a paper bag with a heart on it in the air. "Anderson, ohh ANDERSON!" she sang, walking up to the counter, on the other side of Rosie. "I'm Emily," she said, holding her hand out and smiling. "And I'm Caitlin!" the other one squealed, running around the counter and hugging Rosie. "Caitlin! Stop that!" Emily scolded, and Caitlin gave her a bashful look as she stopped hugging Rosie. "I don't know what you're talking about, Em."

"Oh, hey!" said Rosie, grinning and extending a hand to Noel, and then to Pavlo. Neither was much older than her; a change from Anderson. "Nice," she said, indicating Noel's pretty gauges with her thumb and forefinger. She'd also noticed Pavlo's accent. "Where are you from?" she inquired, tilting her head to the side a bit - it was a habit of hers to do that when she asked questions. "I like your accent."
Rosie jumped when the door slammed open. Customers? Already? She was shocked.
Then - "You're Anderson's sisters?" Taken aback by the squealing, hugging girls, she squirmed out of one's grip. "That's... nice?" She was so confused; she couldn't tell if they were serious, or just messing with her. She crossed her arms. "What can I... get for you?"
{Loving the Greek, Lelie! ♥ And Anderson's sisters are hilarious. By the way, I forgot to post Rosie's outfit before!}

Emily and Caitlin looked at Rosie at the same time. "We just were checking and seeing if he was in or not. The main purpose was to bring him lunch," she said. "But now that I'm here..." she squinted at the menu, and Caitlin handed the lunch bag over to Rosie. Caitlin glanced around the back of the counter, then straight at the kitchen door's small window, which Anderson was peeking out of. "There you are!" She squealed, running towards the kitchen door with her hands out. "Caitlin! Stop it!" Emily screamed, attempting to intercept the smaller girl without success.
A male scream was heard from the kitchen as Caitlin pounced on Anderson on the other side of the door, and within seconds Anderson walked back out of the kitchen with Caitlin under his arm like a football. He literally handed Caitlin over to Emily, who walked her to a chair and made her stay put. "Didn't I tell you NOT to come?" Anderson sighed, glaring at Caitlin. He turned to Rosie and sputtered, "I-I'm sorry for the trouble that these two are c-causing. They're leaving," he said, turning his gaze back to Emily, who stood at the counter.
" Ah. Thank you for noticing your first customer, sir..." she squinted at his chest, about the place where there should have been a name tag. "You're not wearing a name tag. How will you be thanked if someone doesn't know your name?" Emily asked, making Anderson red.
"Get out, Emily."
"You can't turn down a customer, let alone your sister."
"Actually, I can. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone," Anderson said, pointing at a sign near the register.
"You don't really feel that way."
"Who says I don't?"
"I'm hungry!" Caitlin wailed from the other side of the room.
"It's coming, Cait. As soon as Anderson takes my order."
"Who said I was taking your order?" The two kept bickering, both leaning over the counter, very close to each other's faces - Anderson's red, and Emily's calm and collected.

Collecting herself, Rosie decided to intervene. "I'll take their order, Anderson," she said, smiling weakly. She wasn't really sure what his relationship was with these girls, but she could tell that they were bothering him. "You can go hide, if you want." She winked, tied on an apron, and headed to the counter. The girls seemed nice enough to her, but she could see why Anderson was annoyed - She wouldn't want to be embarrassed like that on her first day of work, either.
"How can I help you?" she tried again, smiling brightly in an attempt to eclipse Anderson's foul mood. She hoped that Noel and Pavlo weren't alienated by the vivid scene.

Noel smiled at the new boy, Anderson and nodded. "I'm Noel, pleasure," she said gently. Then at his comment a soft pink blush colored her cheeks. Turning to look at her boss she grinned and nodded. "Thank I thought they were perfect for work," she replied.
Pavlo grinned as Rosie questioned about his accent. He certainly thought that she was a very pretty girl. "Why thank you. I am Ελληνικά which is Greek, for Greek," he answered with a light laugh. At the sound of a door busting open the two whirled around to see two younger girls come in. Then Pavlo and Noel looked at each other then back at the two in the coffee shop. Both of their eyes continually blinked as they watched. Pavlo was not surprised when Anderson was frustrated with his siblings. Being Greek, he had a rather large family, and of course they got into little spats like that. He chuckled as he watched the girls.
Noel looked to her friend slightly blown away. She nodded slowly and he patted her on the shoulder. "Go into the kitchen and make me one of those yummy cupcakes with the basil sauce ontop," he said with a grin. Then moving he took a seat somewhat near the counter still just watching. He felt as though this place was going to be something great.
"Treat before you go off to class?" she questioned with a smile. The male nodded and she shrugged. Walking over to where Rosie was she tapped her on the shoulder. "Just holler if they want something baked," she said with a giggle. Her dark eyes looked over to Anderson and she just smiled. Going into the kitchen she tied one of the pink aprons around her waist and began the batter. The cupcake was a lemon honey cupcake with mint butter cream frosting, and sweet basil drizzle. It was of course the Greek's favorite cake. "If you want Anderson you can give me a hand with some desserts!" she shouted giving him an escape plan if he wanted one.

Rosie smiled at Pavlo. "Do you want some coffee with that?" She could feel him looking at her while she watched Noel in the kitchen, and a pale red began to spread over her cheeks. She tried busying herself at the cash register, counting and re-counting the money, but it was no use. She'd have to think of something interesting to say.
She cleared her throat. "So, um... What kind of music do you like?"

At the question from Rosie he felt himself grin at her. "Sure I would love some coffee... Black, please,"[/b] he answered softly. Pavlo wondered if he was making her feel awkward by looking at her and lowered his eyes to the table. It was a pretty table and sturdy. It was well designed and elegant. At her next statement the boy looked up again. "All kinds, I like Nicki Minaj at the moment," he stated laughing at himself, "I like Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists, Mewithoutyou, Lady Antebellum, Drake, Copeland... weird things." softly he smiled as he noticed a trace of pink on her cheeks. "And how about yourself?" he questioned. Pavlo could hear his friend getting to work on the cupcakes. She certainly loved her cupcakes, cakes, pies, actually...anything baked really.
{Haha! Thanks! I actually just made it up. I know people who make basil cupcakes, but I couldn't remember what was in them... And I felt like Greeks like basil =]}

Skye's long, black eyelashes fluttered in front of her striking green eyes as she walked briskly down the sidewalk. She wore a brightly printed dress, a pair of charcoal-grey ripped jeans and a pair of Zebracorn heels. Carrying her Miami Ink messenger back over her back, she made her way into the suburbs. She'd been informed that an adorable little cafe would be popping up sometime that day, and had decided to wander over and have a look-see. Quickly changing the song on her cased iPod Touch to Incubus, Skye approached the small building with speed, her heels clicking against the cement in time with the music playing through her headphones. Fluffing up her purple and turquoise hair, she stepped up to the cafe, immediately sensing tension between those already inside. Stopping in the doorway, she poked her head around the glass door, fluttering her eyelashes and looking around.

Rosie nodded. "I love the Decemberists!" she exclaimed enthusiastically. "And I've definitely heard of the others. Usually, though, I listen to bands like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, the New Pornographers, Elliott Smith..." She glanced up, noticing a brightly-colored silhouette step into the room. "Hello," she said. She liked the way this girl dressed; it seemed like it would be impossible for her to be sad because she was so bright and cheerful in appearance. "Welcome to Un Petit Coup d'Amour; what can I get for you today?"

Skye blinked for a moment, rolling her lip piercing in her mouth, entranced in the feud between a young man and a similar-looking girl, before snapping to attention at the sound of a voice coming her way. She smiled, cocking her head to one side. "Good morning." she replied, flashing her pearly-white teeth as she crawled around the door and took refuge on a chair, crossing her long legs over eachother. "I'll take a vanilla latté and an egg and mushroom panini, s'il vous plaît." Poking out her tongue, the purple haired girl brushed her hands over her inked skin, tracing the elaborate tattoos on her arms. Curious as to wether or not anybody had noticed the stars on her back, she turned ever so slightly to her left, giving the inhabitants of the café a good view. She thought about revealing the small girly skull at the top of her right breast, but decided against it. Complying with the laws of public decency was indeed tedious.

Pavlo's eyes lit up when she said that she loved The Decemberists most people had never heard of them. When she spoke about a few more bands he grinned. He really had never found some one with such a similar taste in music besides Noel. "I love the New Pornographers as well as Elliot Smith. And when I get back I will surely be looking up the others," he replied with a smile. His hazel eyes then turned to look at the new comer. She was certainly full of color and brightness. Grinning he looked back towards Rosie then reached into his bag. Pulling out his sketch book he wondered if he should add some finishing touches to his most recent homework assignment. His eyes scanned the page as he waited for his cupcakes to be done baking.
----
The tattooed baker slipped two trays of cupcakes into the stove. One being the lemon honey cupcake and the other a pink grapefruit and guava batter. This cupcake was one of her pretty little favorites. It was going to be topped with a rosewater frosting and of course decorated with little pink fondant petals. As she thought of what to bake next she tapped her toes and her lip. Then she grinned when she realized what to make. Noel got started making a pie crust. She was going to make her peach and strawberry cobbler. This was her father's favorite before he passed away. It always made her smile when she made it because she felt like he helped her to make it so perfect.

[ You guys are DEFINATELY giving me a run for my money with all this reading. xD ]
Anderson stepped back from the counter and followed Noel into the kitchen, watching her bake. "God, they irritate me," he huffed, leaning back against the oven. It was true that they annoyed him, but he couldn't help worry for them either. "Do you have siblings, Noel?" Anderson asked, opening his eyes halfway to look at her.
Meanwhile...
"What kind of panini do you want, Cait?" Emily asked, and Caitlin wandered over to the counter, scanning the menu. She pointed at one that was smack in the middle of the menu, and asked, "Can I have that with bacon?" Emily looked over what Caitlin had just ordered and smiled. "Make that two, one with and one without bacon. And two coffees - one black, and an Americano, if I'm reading that right," Emily said, squinting. Caitlin pranced back to her seat, leaving Emily to pay.
"Cait, did you take your pills this morning?" Emily questioned as she paid. "Keep the change," she said to Rosie, handing over a twenty. A quick glance downward from Caitlin confirmed the older's thoughts. "It's fine. I brought them with me," she said, giving the other a meaningful glance. Caitlin gulped. "Anderson wouldn't make me take them," she muttered, and Emily sighed as she walked back to Caitlin's table and sat in the other seat. "Then again, Anderson's younger than you, so he couldn't really tell you what to do," she lowered her voice.

The dark haired female smiled over at Anderson as she let the mixer go to make the dough. At his question she nodded. "Yeah, but he's a lot older than me. I think it's like eleven years, so we never really go in fights like that. By the time I was really old enough to be annoying he wasn't there anymore. So my perspective on siblings come's from Pavlo's family. He comes from a huge Greek family, so I've sorta been adopted as one his siblings... and I annoy him," she said with a small giggle. Standing on her toes she peeked into the dough and pulled it out. Flouring a spot on the table she began flattening the dough. "How old are your siblings?"Noel asked softly. Her hands began kneading the dough to make it soft and good for baking the cobbler. "Do you want to help bake or just chill out? I understand wanting to just chill out, but if you want to take out some of that frustration I could use some fresh sliced strawberries and peaches," she suggested warmly. It wasn't that she needed a hand, but she knew how she often like to take her frustration out on fruit to help ease her mind.

Thoughts were rushing through PJ's head as he wandered into a retro-looking cafe. He must know someone here. His legs took him to the counter while he scanned the list of drinks behind the waitress. 'Um.. I'll just have an orange juice please.' PJ tossed the money on the table and took the orange from the waitress. His eyes scanned the room, hoping for a familiar face to pop up and talk, to make conversation. He'd just got back from a vacation to Brazil, so he was slightly tanned. Hopefully, this would be a new start for him. His thoughts just hoped that his sister would turn up. PJ missed Skye so much that it hurt to think about her, he couldn't go on like this.

Skye's piercing green eyes snapped up as the sound of the small tinkering bell on the front door of the cafe echoed around, scanning the figure of the boy who stepped inside. He was tall, pale and had a vague hint of child-like innocence to his soft face. She watched eagerly as he made his way to the counter, hearing his silk-smooth voice ask for an orange juice. Breathing in, Skye noticed the scent of some sort of deodorant left in the air, like footprints in the sand. Lynx, perhaps. Familiar. Homely. Wait a minute . . . Frowning slightly, she took a second stronger, heavier sniff. Oh my God. It can't be. Standing, she made her way to the counter, standing behind the boy. Arching one perfectly shaped, not to mention pierced eyebrow, her full, rosy lips parted slightly. "PJ . . . ?" His name slipped off her tongue, it's pitch raised towards the end to accentuate her disbelief as she reached for his open hand, interlacing her fingers between his, feeling his suddenly wild pulse.

His eyes met hers, allowing the disbelief to sink in. '..Skye?!' It was like his childhood memories we're in his presence. His life could become normal again, with his sister. PJ knew that he still needed Skye to look after him, even though he was 16. He hadn't quiet figured out the independance part yet, not even knowing how to do the washing. His nose smelt that familiar perfume that Skye wore when he was younger. Almost shoving it in his face so he would remember it. He smiled, almost tearing up at the thought that Skye was standing right in front of him, he was safe again. Wherever Skye was, he felt at home.

Tears welling up in the purple-haired girl's eyes, she stepped forward, bouncing up to hug him, winding her inked arms around his neck. Giggling as a clear, shiny tear rolled down her porcelain cheek, she beamed at her brother, joy spilling out of her smile like rays of sunshine. Her entire anatomy shifted in that single moment. Nothing else in the entire world mattered other than that he was finally home, finally back in her arms. Ruffling the boys long, dark hair, she sighed, breathing in his musky, woody scent. Home. Cookies. Fire. Warmth. Mom. Paint. Books. A million other memories flashed by from that single smell. Suddenly, in her butt pocket, she felt her phone vibrating, blasting out her Good Charlotte ringtone. After a moment's dancing, mainly composed of a fleet of air guitar moves that Ozzy Osbourne could've choreographed, Skye scrambled to pick up the call, she jumped out of PJ's grasp and dragged him over to her table, rolling her eyes after a quick look at the caller ID, accepting the call and pushing the phone to her ear. "Good morning, Mister Jefferson." A moment's pause. "No, you said we had enough pickles in the store fridge." Another pause. "Mister Jefferson, it's my day off." Yet another. "Well, I can't help that." The girl sighed. "Look, Jason. Let's cut the crap. I've been working my ass off the past month doing orders as and when you wanted them done. Someone comes into the shop, I'm the one they come to see. Zak and Candy sit around all day doing bugger all while I'm out there inking people up. You want a sammich, get off your fat ass and make it yourself. I'm not your lapdog." Skye disconnected the call and shoved her phone back into her pocket. Twirling a strand of her bright hair around her finger and tapping her artistic nails on the surface of the table, a sure sign that she was pissed off.

"Wait.. you got that job at the tattoo place?! Skye that's amazing!" A smile beamed across his face. He knew how much it meant to his big sister, she was so passionate about it. His smile stayed on his face while he remembered her inking up him when he was five. Only, it was with black felt tip. Luckily, it wasn't permenant. Their mom just shrugged, although Skye was over the moon with her creation. It took a few days to wash off his soft skin, but while it was on there, everyone in the neighbourhood saw it. PJ realised he was staring right at the wall. He snapped out of it, looked at Skye and couldn't help but smile. "I'm happy for you.. I really am" He thought about himself, and how far he had come. Or hadn't. He looked down to the table, his eyes trailing across the surface then back up to her, this time with a blank face.
