Hi everyone! I just wanted to say I'm sorry it's been so long since I've been here, but I'm back... hopefully for good this time. I just wanted to touch base with those who know me about the challenges that have kept me away for so long.

1. My father's twin died of cancer... my father seems ok on the surface, but I can tell he's not quite the same anymore.
2. My grandmother went to the hospital with a heart attack. By the time they got to her, half her heart was dead. She needed to have a 5-bypass graft surgery and when she got out, about a week later she coded. She is out of the hospital, but has been moved to a care facility... she seems to have given up though. I don't know if she's going to go back to her house.
3. My car got repossessed a while back ago. The repo guys are nice. Although I'm sure they would have attempted to get my car without my knowledge if they could have avoided it. They didn't even knock on my door... just started carrying it away. But when I looked outside, they did help me clear out everything I wanted to keep. I finally did get it back about a month later.. it was a mess.
4. I got a new job back in November and I've been working a ton of overtime. (It was 16 hours on my last 2 week paycheck). Amazingly I do have SOME freetime, but it's been devoted mainly to school and my kid.
5. I just gave my kid a mo-hawk. His grandmother hasn't seen it yet. She's going to kill me. I got professional pictures right after i got it cut... she's REALLY going to kill me.
6. I've started selling stuff for Avon. They're a great company! I'm having fun. I just didn't know exactly what it involved. I'm still learning, but I'm happy I took the opportunity.
7. I'm mid-process of developing a website. I haven't attempted to do web design in YEARS. I'm having one of my friends assist me with the coding because it's an ecommerce site and I want to make sure it's perfect... espically if people are going to be putting their credit card numbers into their database.

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll be sure to keep you updated if you care enough to know.

From an old- newbie to another. Welcome back. And gosh you sound busy but happy! :)

Thanks guys! ^.^ Things have been busy, but I continue to take a positive approach to everything. It's tough sometimes, but it's what I have to do and what I prefer doing anyway.
