Rowan groaned as the feeling of falling passed and he could once again feel the ground beneath him. "Ouch..." He said as he sat up and looked at his knees which were scrapped up an a little bloody. He patted them with the sleeve of his hoodie to try and stop the bleeding a bit. He sighed as he looked up and realised he had no idea where in the world he was. If he was even on his own world.

The world around the boy was certainly not the one he was used to. There were no trees...no plants...no neatly trimmed lawns. Tall, bright skyscrapers were all over the place. There were no roads for cars to drive on. What he was currently standing in was a back alleyway...a few feet away, oddly-dressed people were crowding the streets, walking.

Above the streets, there were flying vehicles. Not quite cars, not quite hover-crafts, not quite spaceships. A mix of all three, almost. They drove, or rather flew, quite a distance above the roads, where only people traveled...

One of these strange-looking, strangely-dressed people was leaning against the metal wall of one of the buildings that made the sides of this little alleyway. He jumped slightly when he heard Rowan's voice, turning his way and peering at him. He had bright, blood red eyes and wildly bright fire orange hair. He was tall, thin, and wiry. And twitchy--he couldn't seem to stop moving. His skin was a very pale shade of white. He was wearing what resembled a space suit. It was a tight purple bodysuit with a black ruff around the neck and similar, smaller black ruffs around his wrists, his waist, and his ankles.

He didn't say anything. He seemed to find Rowan very strange to look at.

"Holy Crap!" Rowan said once he saw everything that was around him and was able to take it all in. He stood up slowly and looked around his eyes resting on the purple suited twichy person. He blinked unable to look away. What on earth was that person wearing? It looked like he put a tight fitted eggplant suit on. He took several steps back as he tried to make sense of it all.

The stranger seemed just as dumbfounded by Rowan as Rowan was of him! He stared at him profusely, taking in his odd clothing and looks. That sort of fashion looked like fashion that he'd seen in museums...in old, old pictures, when people still used cameras!

He blinked slightly, shuffling. "...Need some help, hun?" he asked, finally. His voice was a little distant, curious.

"Ye-yeah...I mean No...no...I'm, i'm fine....just fell..." He said shakily getting up and brushed off his knees. He gave a weak smile to the strange man. He was still a bit worried that the man would eat him....or kidnap him or something.

"Oh. I see. Want me to take you home? I mean...you shouldn't be walking around in such old-fashioned clothing. It's worth a lot of money these days, and people might try to steal it off of you," the man revealed, wiggling in place and looking quite curious.

"Old.....clothes..." He repeated slowly, "I just got these a weak ago..." He said feeling confused.

The strange man stared pointedly at the boy before him, and then he gave him a rather peculiar smile. "You must have a lot of money, then, eh? Those kinds of clothes are old-fashioned...really old. And they cost a lot..."

This boy was weird.

Rowan just looked at the man, "....Old-fashioned?" He frowned as he looked down at his clothes. He had just bought them last week. He looked at the man, "Where are we?" He asked trying to keep the panic out of his voice.

"...Did you, ah...maybe hit your head?" the man asked, trying to be as kind as possible. "We're in the city Jul..." In this day and age, Jul was the largest city in the world. It was a metropolis, a utopian one at that...

"I don't think so..." Rowan said in response to the man's first question but paused looking at as he said Jul. "Jul?...I've never heard of it..." he said honestly, "Is it far from LA? That's where I live..." He said softly with a small frown. He had no idea where Jul was.

"L...L-what, now?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the side. "Where in the world is that?" L.A. was a city that didn't exist anymore. Basically the whole map of the United States had been rewritten at some point in history. He scrunched his eyebrows together. "...I think I remember that being the name of a really old city somewhere..."

Rowan rubbed his head, "I have to be dreaming....I mean....what are you wearing!" He said, "It's like some freaky space suit..."
