I have a few questions and thought I'd make a thread about it. This is not a whining thread, but one simply about how each user earns their gold and how quickly they earn it.

So, the questions!
-About how much gold do you earn per day?
-How do you personally go about earning said gold? [Do you roleplay, visit various forums, exchange, play games, etc?]
-How do you feel about the site's economy?

Personally I don't make very much gold in one day. Before the gold cap for the games was decreased I made about 1k a day, but because I spent so much time gaming I never really talked with other users.

On a normal day, not lately because I'm more focused on the user event I'm working on, I make the 250g from games on each account. And if all of my RPs are active I can make anywhere from 200 to 1000 a day from that. Normal chatting might make me 100g unless it is an event and then I can make up to 1000.
So generally I make about 1000 a day from the games, RPing, and light chatting.

If I have extra money I also buy extra CI sets and I get anywhere from 2k to 4k per set.

If I'm not lazy and I have the time, I play the games on both accounts, and that's about it. Dx I don't venture out into the forums often, too many :ninja:s around.

I rarely play games, so between random posting and how active my rps are I usually make 100-400 a day.

I save up forever to spend it all usually on something frivolous.

I just remain active in the forums to some degree and play games when I feel like it, I also don't make much gold each day but I don't mind too much, as I don't spend that much either.

I just post in the forums. I don't role play or play games. It's a forum site and to me the point of the site is to talk to other people. The gold earning is just an added bonus for chatting. How much I make depends on the day. Some days I only post in one or two topics where as other days I'll post in a lot more. In general, I earn around 200 gold a day or so.

I am just a newbie in my sort of way... So still learning the site because I couldn't find many people to talk to.

What are the reccomendations?

I post s bit of everywhere except the Roleplaying forums. I like the Avatar chat section of the site probably most. I also post in the General discussion a lot. Menewsha Nations is good for people that can find a hang out there. Chatting there could add up to a lot of gold fast.

I like to play some of the games here but I find that the game points to glod ratio is kinda low so I have been doing some posting here and there and find it easier to make gold that way.

The gold cap was lowered a while back to encourage more people to post in the forums. I think 250 is fine as it is. If you have a mule, that's 500gold a day that can be earned through games between two accounts. Considering Mene is not a gaming site, I think that's plenty.

I usually make between 100 to 500 gold a day, depending on if I post in a bunch of threads and if I play the games. Most of my gold comes from the games, as I'm not a person to post in the forums all that much.

I always make at least 250 from playing games. I don't really keep track of how much I make from chatting. I suppose it would range from 0-500+ I don't roleplay at all so my posts aren't that large when I chat. Unless I'm responding to something I feel passionate about.

I like that the cap was lowered on games because it made me want to seek out people to talk with more. I've made more friends after that happened. I used to only chat during events and in my quest thread. Now I'm subscribed to multiple threads, post feedback threads and often wish I could just press a button that would grant me the amount I would get from playing games so I could chat more.

I don't post a lot. I'd say the bulk of mine comes from savvy market selling. Buying low, selling high. Also buying CI's to sell in the market. I sold the first set of this month's CI's to even go into the market. ;) If you've got extra cash it's a good way to turn it into coins on Mene. I play tetris sometimes but that's about it. I'd say I average about 500 gold a day.

For me, I earn my gold by posting in the forums (mostly GD, CD, and FM) and playing games. I earn and average of about 150-300 gold a day depending on how often and much I post or play a game. I feel as if earning gold on mene is pretty easy. You don't earn if you don't participate, seems fair enough right?

I've only been here for like 3 days so I understand why my coin purse is running low xD

Today I will have earned about 1,500. But only beacuse I really wanted a particular item to finish off my look, and because I want to change my name. Usually I only earn a couple hundred, tops, and it's by posting in the forums :] I've even tried playing some of the games these past couple of days, but I really suck at them. Partly because my keyboard sticks, but I'm a talker anyway, so it works out haha

Hey, I was primarily a gamer as well! Before Sardine Smash was out, I would play Tetris a lot. Then I used to place in the top ten for the Sardine Smash game, and constantly took advantage of that 500 gold cap for gaming. I actually didn't realize the cap was lowered until today when I decided to go fishing. Oh well.

At first I didn't get much gold either. I would just roam through the different forums and find a topic to quickly put in a word about... Since I never wrote much per topic, I didn't make that much...

Then I became inactive, only coming on for some events, and got gold from the overactive event forums. Now I started roleplaying, so I get a semi-steady flow of gold, not to mention I make a lot of topics (though many of them die... *sniffle*).
