I have read the novel and watched the anime. I like the novel more because I was able to imagine certain scenes much funnier. I liked the art style of the anime though!

I've watched it and read both manga/novel~

It's one of my favourites, though I haven't finished it. Didn't know there was a novel though. I discovered it more or less accidentally - I was volunteering at a convention, got placed in the viewing rooms on the overnight shift, and it was one of the things playing in our room that night. It's been about a year since I watched it so I don't even remember what the funniest bit was. I'll have to start over when I get back to watching it again.

Well ya i guess all those qualities except for the loathing myself part i love myself so i cant loath it lol. An hey everyone is out to get me even jebus so thats only rational and logical behavior. As for the topic at hand i thought welcome to the nhk had to many episodes that felt like filler to stretch it out like the writer ran out of ideas or something.
