and so my question to you is ... are there any songs/artists or anything that you would recommend to me? I like any style of music and am always willing to listen to stuff I havent before

I always recommend Mumsford and Sons to anyone. I just love them. Lately, I've been really into Skillet, Neon trees, Anberlin, and old Lady Gaga. I've also always loved Brand New, Defiance Ohio, Against me!, This Bike is a Pike bomb, and Cage the Elephant.
