You know that tab you always keep up, or open when a parent or a guest walks into the room you're in? My "safe page" used to be facebook, but since its end-of-the-year project season, I keep an article about Sudan up to switch to whenever my mom comes in here. :B

Whats your page?

Uhh... I usually just flick to the other tab. But that only happens if I stumbleupon some interesting artworks.

Don't need one. I live alone and own my own computer. I see no reason to hide what I am doing from myself. O.o; I mean every now and then my sister randomly pops down here but again, no reason to hide anything.

I go to social networks at school (college) a lot. It's my decision, so I don't think the professors would say anything, but sometimes I read interesting articles or comics that would be a bit embarrassing if my fellow students saw. I flip to my notes, which are always open in Word, if I see someone peeking!

I don't need a safe page I live in a house of my own with my younger brother. I rarely have anyone over to see me. if my mom is here with her dogs I'll try lock the door to my room. just to keep her out if my nephew is over I'm trying to watch something on youtube with curse words in it. I'll go come here are gaia next time I'll try neopets to see if the games on there can teach him something.

I used to use random articles from Wikipedia. But nowadays, I have no need to hide the things I'm looking up. Mainly because everything I look up is tame. :lol:

It's usually facebook but sometimes it's youtube. I switch to one or the other whenever my Grandfather decides he should walk into my room and see what I'm doing.

Mine was usually Gaia, even though I never really do much over there nowadays. xD
Everyone just expects me to be on Gaia because I was really into it a while back. Now I'm only ever there to check messages though, and I don't really need to hide what I'm doing since I have my own laptop, and am an adult.

I thought I was the only one who did this. I usually have some sort of music media player and I'll switch to that if I leave the computer, or some bogus company page.

My safe page is Mene or Smackjeeves (a comic hosting site.)

For a long time i would just minimise the browser completley, as my serverly computer illitirate parents wouldn't know what was going on anyway.
It took a couple of years for my mom to clock on to this, and now i just put google or youtube up.
I don't fear too much though, as they don't know the doubious content of some of the internet.

I tend to only have Mene, Facebook, Photobucket, and any of the webcomics I read open at any point. Thats usually the extent of it. Though, considering how my room is set up, noone can come into my room without me seeing them, even when Im playing XBox.

And like others have said, I am an adult, with my own laptop. So it doesnt really matter to me.

I'm very easily distracted, so I usually have about a zillion tabs open at the library, so my serious research "safe page" is rootsweb -- but luckily I'm an adult and rarely need one.

I don't have anything to hide. :)

I never really have stuff to hide, but for some reason I feel like my parents are trying to violate my privacy when they come in and look at what I'm on. So I usually just switch to Facebook or a music player website.

I just minimise everything and tell whoever's looking, 'Don't look, nothing to see here'. XD
Got nothing to hide, but I just don't like people looking at what I'm doing. Especially when I'm making a post on Menewsha or reading stuff on Facebook, etc. I don't mind when people look at what manga pages I'm reading though, so I leave those open and continue reading regardless of anyone looking.

Mene. Its my home page so its easy to click to, and everyone knows I'm addicted to it.

I still hide some stuff if I'm at my grandma's. To spare her little old eyes. :angel:

The point that has already been said though, I'm an adult and I have my own laptop. The only person in my household that might say something about something I'm doing is my brother. But if he did, chances are I'd just yell a curse word at him and tell him to stop looking over my shoulder. e_e

LOL...I don't really look up things I feel the need to hide. Sometimes when I'm on Menewsha or some other site when I should be working on an assignment then I'd have my assignment up as a safe 'page' or tab as such.

my 'safe page' will always be my facebook account with nothing on it accept games for this EXACT reason.

My safe page would have to be Facebook as well :) My dad gets furious when he sees me gaming so I open up Facebook and tell my dad friends and I are discussing homework x'D

MSPaint. XD Since I pixel a ton but I have a habit of reporting porn violations around deviantART, it's always important to have a window I can switch too in case I leave the computer mid-report. Since I always use my mother's laptop (I'm poor, can't afford my own laptop and my brother is always hogging the home computer <.<), I use the internet in a private session (yay for no browser history!) and open an MSPaint file, so I switch to it just in case. Usually an avatar in the making, always nice cute girly stuff, so it's all good~
