In a lake by a tower, there lives a beautiful black swan. During the day she is just that, a black swan. But at night she transforms into a beautiful young princess. The evil sorceerer Lockheart Made her transform into a black swan during the day so no other man would be drawn to her since she refused to marry him. She is only allowed to transform into a human whenever there is a moon. Little does she knew, when a princes discovers her there lives will become intertwinned.

Katrina floated gracefully across the lake. it was noon. six more hours til night. she floated into the cattails which was her favorite place to go. she didn't know if it was because they hid her or because she just loved them so much. six more hours and she would be human. she loved her nights as being human. even though lockheart will be awaiting on the shore to ask yet again for her hand in marrage. she would say no and it would start again the next day. the same old routine.

Angelus was in his favorite grove of trees by his place, just off his parents property and he was writing yet another poem about how he wished life was for him. He was writing about the more easy going, care free part he wish he had, and thinking if he would ever find happiness in this life. He wished his life would change, it was so dull and boring that he was stressed out from it.

Katrina sat there on the water. she decied she would take a nap and tucked her long neck and head under her wing.

Angelus got up and bringing the book inside decided to go for a hike, he went to the quietest place in the woods, it was near a lake, and as he looked across it he saw a black swan sleeping. He smiled at how simple things must be for it, how easy it's life must be. He found the tree grove he slept in sometimes and got comfortable like he usaully did, he looked around and feeling as at peace as he would for a while.

Katrina heard the footsteps. Katrina lifted her head from her wings. she flapped er wings to get the water off of them. she floated to the shore. and looked at the boy who was now there.

He noticed that black Swan looking at him, in an uncanny human way, he felt a strange feeling that after tonight his life wouldn't be the same. He watched the swan and noticed it's features, it was a very cute swan.

Katrina noticed him looking at her. she walkd closer.

He noticed that the swan was getting closer and thought that he noticed it getting late, and start to really get dark, soon the moon will be out.

Katrina noticed the darkening sky. oh no not with someone here she thought to herself. she looked at him pleadingly hoping her would leave.

Then he saw a human look cross the swans face, it looked like pleading, he was curious about this, he moved closer and crouched down. He wondered if this was the swan people talked about in town. He felt stupid for it but he spoke outloud. "S are you the swan in the stories? Human by night, swan by morning?"

thos eloud mouth humans are gonna get someone in trouble oh i wish he would leave before lockheart got here she thought. she nodded. she used her wing urgently pointing to the way he had came.

"Oh, yes now I know who your trying to save me from, I don't fear him, and we shouldn't have a problem if he doesn't try anythng funny." he says. Knowing very well he didn't stand a chance against him, he knew how to fight, but he was still only human. He moved back to the tree and in a way to where he couldn't see the lake, he then dosed off, he didn't realize how tired he was.

she used some of hte willow tree leaves hangng down to hide him from lockheart. the moon shone through the clouds. she began glowing and transformed. nt moments later, she heard lockheart calling for her. he came into the clearing by the lake. "ther eyou are my dear. have you changed your mind yet," he asked. his staff reflected the light of the full moon. "no and i never will," she said. she wouldnt marry him if he was the last person on earth. "very well. maybe another day or two should change your mind." he said then dissapeared again into the door of his tower. she wnet behind the willow tree and watched the boy sleep.

He dreamed he saw what the swan looked like as a human, watching him sleep, this was weird, and he knew he was asleep. It was weord, but he didn't mind this, the giurl watching him was gorgoeus and the moonlight made her look more so. He felt his cheeks warm.

Katrina saw his cheeks blush in his sleep and she couldn't help giggling a bit.

He woke up just as night was at a half hour time. He saw her watching him and felt the heat from his cheeks. "So you are, I've heard stories of you, I've always wanted to meet you, and free you from your torment, is there a way that I can?' he asked, trying to hide tyhe fact that he was now consciously blushing.

"not unless you defeat lockheart. but he is to strong. his magic is powerful. you should leave. i dont ant anyon getting hurt." she said.

"I can't let him continue what he's doing, and I know a way that might work, I will leave for tonight. I just want to know your name, I'm angel" he says looking at her. Wishing he could give her a hug or something to help her feel better.

"Katrina," she siad with a smile.

He smiled too. "Nice to meet you Katrina." he says kindly.

"nice to meet you to," she said.

"So does he really want you so badly as to do this t you, if he really wanted you, he'd let you go, if he really truly loved you." he said.

"apparently he doesnt get that concept" she said.
