Hmmm. I'm not sure it they'd be your taste or not but, Eluveitie is a great band.
They don't really sing in English though, but their beats are insane.
Hooooooold on, we need to set something straight before we can get any likes or dislikes down. Hate to be critical, but Kamelot isn't Melodic Folk Metal. Almost all the time, including this video, it's Power/Prog Metal. Doesn't sound like much of a misnomer, but in a lot of cases they're completely different things altogether. :|
What you probably want based on Kamelot in general are Symphonic and Power/Prog bands like...
Epica
Early Dark Moor (dem female lyrics)
Quantice (Good luck finding that)
Rhapsody of Fire
Stratovarius
Blind Guardian
Angra
Galneryus
Early Sonata Arctica (They turned to crap after the second album. Sorry but they did. Want more? Go to Stratovarius.)

@Sleepymeadow- Thanks. Bands don't have to be in English.
@ProjectWolfie-Wow. Thanks for setting things straight for me. I really didn't know that. I'm some what limited in my knowledge of other sub-genres of metal as I USUALLY listen to stuff like Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Gorefest and the such.
And thank you both for offering suggestions of different bands. :D
You're quite welcome. XD I don't blame you... Metal has a lot of subgenres that I still get confused a lot in some cases. Hope that helps in finding similar bands easier!
Kamelot...similar too...I haven't really listened to them in quite a while. XD
-But Epica (but they are already mentioned).
-Sonata Arctica (honestly I love all their albums)
-Sons of Seasons (I'm guessing on this band...but it is same genre but I haven't really listened to them so I don't really know much other than Simone from Epica is on album artwork and does guest vocals on a couple of songs)
-Nightwish (old era with Tarja Turunen. can try new era but female vocals are extremely different)
-Edguy
-Avantasia
-Luca Turilli's Dreamquest
I could probably name a bunch more that would come up as similar but is not quite similar as well. And most of the stuff I know of is female fronted.
