The basic setting is a medival city. Sexism is not unheard of and suspicion abounds. The city of Narra is Filled with all sorts of people, some evil, others kind hearted and good. Slavery is well and alive, having an indentured servant is very common.

Name: Lady Ariz
Age: 23
Occupation: Knight
Bio: Lady Ariz is the deadliest warrior in the land. She is attracted to men, but more attracted to women. Her looks can be decieving, and fights for whomever she feels like fight ing for.

Name:Lilian Herris
Age:19
Occupation:Royalty
Bio: Born from a long line of Ice witches, she is known to be cruel and fickle. Beutiful things entice her to no ends and has been known to sacrifice man and money to get what she wants. Narra is governed by her loving father. Lilian is given free run of whatever she pleases within the walls, the word 'no' is very foriegn to her.

Lilian let out a big yawn as she rode down the main street within Narra. Escorted by a platoon of heavily armed gaurds. Leaning out the side window of the carriage, she stared at all the garbage that muled about this time of day. Taking time, she attempted to find someone within the grow that seemed the least bit interesting.

Name: Kelvin Foster
age: 21
Bio:Born in the line of warrior he is actually weak link in his family. He has a hard time picking up a real sword and wants to be a librarian when he gets older. He loves to read and people watch but his father is very strict and has him practice whenever he can. Rarely does he escape to read or just even escape.

Kelvin runs through the crowd of people in the shopping area. on his side is the only sword that he can carry. behind him is not only the crowd of people but his father angrily chasing him. "Get back here you brat!" HE yells. Kelvin pants trying to get away. He does not want to be caught for he will have to practice even harder if he does. He goes down an alley way panting heavily. He tries to calm his breathing so not to get caught

Lilian sighs, herboredom overcoming her till she notices a young man running from an older one. She smirked, thinking the young one to be a thief. As the scene unfolded, she noticed the older man run by his target, continueing down the road at his hasty pace. "Stop the carriage!" she would yell quickly, the vehicle came to a stop just at the opening of the alley. Smiling big she leaned out looking right at him. "You should maybe resort to a different proffesion than theivery, perhaps?", She would brush a strand of hair from her face.

Name: Teivel Grey
Age: 16
Occupation: Training to be a professional thief
Bio: Teivel was born into a family of thieves and liars, so he's been thieving since he was old enough to walk and talk, but he often misjudges his marks. He hasn't gotten caught once, but there is always a first time for everything. He has a mischievous streak a mile wide, but is smart enough to contain it in the presence of royalty or guards.

Teivel jumped slightly when the woman mentioned thievery, but kept walking towards the carriage. He relaxed when he realized that she wasn't talking to him, but rather to the young man in the alley. He twitched again when he realized just who this was.

"What in the world is Princess Lilian doing near the Lower End?" he whispered the question quietly to himself, then approached to two. He smiles when he spots the sword on the boy's waist and politely walks forward.

"Excuse me Princess," Teivel asked out, loud enough to be heard but trying to keep his tone polite, "I think you have the wrong man."

Liliana linked seeing a another peasent aproach, a slight flush spread across her face as she snapped at him, "Speak when I address you, scum!" her armed gaurds rode to circle around the shady teen. In her hands she held a box of sweets, bought from a baker from this slummish part of town. She wore many pieces of jewelry, a necklace, earrings, and several normal rings on her fingers. She would slam the window to her carriage, not giving the man she had prieviously adressed the chance to speak. "MOVE!" she sat fuming, despising the gall of that boy, interupting a conversation involving royalty!

Teivel stared after the carriage with a slightly dumbfounded look. He rolled his shoulders back and cracked his knuckles before turning to his new 'friend'.

"Not that I don't enjoy watching an idiot get caught, but what are you doing out here sword guy?" Teivel walked towards Kelvin, then stopped and leaned against the alley wall. "You're not a thief, but you sure were running like one."

He stared after the Princess' carriage and shook his head slightly, thinking to himself, 'She's gonna be queen one day. Man, Narra's screwed.'

Lilian's mood ligtened seeing a welcome sight on the road ahead, she opened the window of her carriage once more to gaze happily at her family's castle. Her personal guard dismounted, walking with their princess to the front doors of the family area. Liliana would seem to skip almost as she made her way through her family's guest room, continuing down several halls to her own room.

The sun began to slowly sink on the horrizon, nightfall would come in at least 3 hours. Crowds continued their clamour all throughout the night. Narra is well known for it's shopping district; items from all over the world could be found here.

(If you guys feel like it, I permit people to take control of minor NPC's)

Ariz walked into Narra. She was looking for work, and that royalty always needed hired warriors to carry out their "dirty work" Ariz made her way up to the royal castle. She knocked at the door.

Kelvin was speechless and wondered what just happened. He hates being yelled at so he stays frozen when this women yelled. He sighs when the lady that yelled leave. he looks at the young man next to him and smiles. "Thanks I thought she was going to arrest me." He says sitting down losing all strength in his legs. "I'm running from my dad. he wants me to practice today but I really do not want to." He leans his head back on the brick wall. His hand on the only sword that fits him he relaxes finally.

A butler would come to answer the door. The proper man was almost a stereotype, having a snooty appearance and fancy french style mustache. He would look over Ariz with a suspicious gaze, surely she wasn't looking to becoming a maid? With a gruff clearing of his throat he spoke up "What brings a warrior like you to the Herris estate?".

Liliana hummed happily as she opened her box, inside, a delicious piece of angel cake, smothered in strawberry toppings awaited her. Happily she sat on her bed, using a silver fork she would begin to devour the treat. Spoiled was the light word to use for her personality, in truth she could be a horrible bitch to those around her.

"It was no problem, just don't mention it to anyone," Teivel replied. "What's going to happen when you get home? Isn't your father going to be angry?"

He pushed off from the wall and walked to the side of the alley opposite Kelvin. He narrowed his eyes and looked at the man, deciding to trust him with his name, well, one of them. "I'm Ret Gelvie by the way, what's your name?" he asked, giving the man his most common alias.

"I think I won't go home for awhile. Father gives me enough money I own my own little place. I'm Kelvin.... Kelvin Foster." He says getting up now getting most of his energy into his legs now. He looks down the street and can see his father still searching for him as well as some of his fathers personal friends. He sighs and looks down the dark alley way. "You wouldn't happen to know how to get down south would yah? Without getting caught by fathers guards?"

A faceless gaurd would approach the two, holding a parchment in his hands. Speaking through his ornate faceplate helmet, his gruff tone silences some passerby's "By order of King Jericho Herris, loitering is suspect to financial charges. I'll need to see citizenship pendants from the both of you." The simple pieces of jewelry were specifically made to help identify the I.Ds of people living within Narra. The gaurd waited patiently, his armor clanking slightly as he shifts his weight.

"Nice'ta meetcha Kelvin," Teviel grinned. He walked closer, and answered with a nonchalant smile, "I know about five ways out of this city, not including the main gates or the most common passages."

Teviel heard the clank of the approaching guard and sighed, turning to face the heavily armored man. He watched the man as he spoke, and began calculating possible escape routes in his mind. When he heard the charges he gave an easy shrug and reached inside his shirt, grabbing the green stone attached to his simple leather necklace.

"Here sir, it may be a little out of date with my appearance, I haven't gotten it updated since I was 14, two years ago," Teivel smiled at the man, pulled off his necklace, and handed it over to be inspected.

"Isn't being a guard dangerous?" he asked innocently, mixing the truth with lies in his air-headed ramble, "I wanted to be one of the King's Guard when I was younger, but since I'm the only male in my family, besides my dad, my parents thought it was too dangerous."

THe gaurd was smiling behind his face plate, Looking carefully at the first boy's stne before sighing and rolling up the parchment "Tell you what, I respect a kid who supports his local law enforcement, you boys promise not to lolygag around here much longer, and I'll let you off with a waring. "THe dangers of being a guard are far outweighed by the privaledge to serve and protect" He nodded to the two, standing at the entrance of the alley, waiting for the duo to leave.


Uknown to most, a plot was being devised by a local group of bandits to force the king to give up his throne. Several shady characters walked purposfully through the alley nearby the two boys, most of the figure wearing cowels to hide their faces. THey would head into a low end pub, aptly named "THe Harsh Flush Dine and Drink". THe sign outside the establisment would be flipped over to closed as soon as the men entered.

"Greetings. I am Lady Ariz, warrior for hire. I request to speak with the king and queen, or any nobel who happens to be around" Ariz said with a bow.

Kelvin was stunned at looked at the man in armor. he showed his pendent as well but he barely looked at it. "Thank you for let us go." he says walking down the alley way. Worried he would get lost. he looked back to see if Teviel would follow or not. He hoped he will so he can help him get to his house.

"Thank you sir!" Teivel said with a wide smile, jogging to catch up to Kelvin. Once he was certain that they were out of the man's hearing, he growled, "Fools Gold, I hate the metals."

"So, where are we headed?" he asked Kelvin, "and would you mind if we made a stop first? I have to check in with my Dad."

The butler sighed, shaking his head at Ariz a bit disdainfully. In a undertone, he almost fearfully began to decline her "I am sorry, but the Herris family has no need for a mercenary" Giving her a small bow, he continued, "Although it is truly appreciated that you care enough to offer your services." giving her one last nod, the butler would slowly close the castle door. Sliding a lock into place for the night, and walking off to continue his servant duties.

Liliana would dress herself for bed, putting on a beutiful white sleeping gown her father had imported from some backwards nation. Adjoined to her room was a beutiful balcony, overlooking the main courtyard and looking out into the city. She walked slowly out into the cool night, resting her arms on the siding of the stone feature, A new face caught her attention, was it a female knight?

To the left of the boys, hushed voices could be heard within the shady tavern. No one seemed to notice the two from inside.

Ariz began to walk away. Suddenly, she noticed a a young lady standing on a balcony. They made eye contact. Ariz approached her. "Lady Ariz, at your service" She said with a bow.

"Its fine with me. We need to head a little south afterwards so I can get to my house for awhile." he says now following Teivel. "So what does your father do?"

Teivel grimaced, "My dad, well, he finds or hires people to find, rare objects, then sells them. He keeps expecting me to follow in his footsteps, but I'm no good at selling or buying."

He stopped at the tavern where his father was staying, The Harsh Flush Flute and Drink. He spotted the closed sign and gave a small 'huh' sound, before turning to Kelvin with a smirk, "How good are you at sneaking? I know a back way into this place but if you're not careful you could alert everyone inside. You in or out?"
