Well it's simple! An OOC topic is to talk about our ideas, or create new ideas if we have none. The first thing to do is to make a genera or style! Have you had any ideas, or particular likes at this time? I just want you to know! I'm known for avoiding sci-fi based and romance based plots of any kind!

Haha! Sorry but that made me laugh! Yes, lets do a romance one!!!! Just kidding. That's why I thought it was funny, becasue my mind went on a tangent... I wouldn't ask you to do that and I'm much to shy to do that with anyone! Hmmm... But I think I'll follow your lead since I've never done this before.

Oh, you had better keep that away from me! I'm too awkward for romance things, and it's just run ragged nowadays. Anyway, it's easy to fall in to. Just like creating a normal plot, just with a collaborative partner who has a different thought process. What type of genera are you leaning toward at this time? Action, adventure, comedy, dark comedy...? The list goes on! I'm really up for just about anything, but I've had a few characters in mind I was hoping to find a way to use, so by choice and ideas battered back and forth, it can be decided then.

Hmmm... Well now that my romance will not come to be, I guess.... Uhmm... Maybe... Comedy? Or dark comedy? I'm not sure, and I warn you now: there is a very good chance I'm going to suck at this. And I'm very bad at making decisions. So something easy if that's possible. (and I'm sorry if this is like pulling teeth...).

I apologize. But I would rather not ruin it! A dark comedy would be a mix of... rather morbid comedic flair, a blend of gothic and humor. I actually have a particular character I would love to use for a dark comedy! And you should be more forceful, and not be reluctant to get your ideas up and out there for others to see! Just lay it on the table, like a hand of aces! We can do something easy, and at the same time, long-term, while also looking to incorporate other generas in the form of other storylines, to not get bored with a single one.
Pulling teeth? I much rather knock them out of their head. But it's not, believe me! Patience is a virtue, and if I had the desire, I would be a monk.

Haha! I was so joking about the romance!!! My sarcasm doesn't translate well on computers!! The thing is that I've never done this so I don't even know where to start, but yes, I think I would probably be better suited to dark comedy. And once I get the hang of it we can probably throw some other generas in there! Except romance, I think we can both agree to that! Though I might joke about it!
Some people get irritated with me because I am so quiet and hesitant. But I'll try my best! Though, I'm sure I could even make a monk want to knock my teeth out, if I didn't beat him to the punch!

Oh, I was as well before. Just add [/sarcasm] after a sarcastic comment. Sometimes I can sense it, other times I'm way off. Just begin at the beginning, like any other storyline. My idea is only half formed, of course, and it's really based off a character of mine. He is a demon, sealed away in a choker necklace made for a doll. After four hundred years, he was brought out of his sleep and his soul was put into the body of a female wax doll, and he has no idea how, who did it, or what year it is, which is present time, by the way. This is all I have for that, but I also have the image of the demon himself and the doll, here. A friend of mine drew them, but it's only the basic outline.
Ah, and stop worrying about making me irritated or annoyed or anything like that, since it will not happen. Trust me on that!

Oh my gosh that doll is so cute! That must be shameful for the demon, being stuck in that tiny cute body, you know what I mean? But that's still more than I have... I don't really have an idea or character. Ha, so me worrying won't irritate you? Okay, I'll stop that now. Hmmm... How big is the doll? Is it doll sized or life size doll sized? And does the doll have an owner?
Oh no my computer is going to restart for some reason?! I might be gone for a bit!!! I don't know why though!!

Indeed, I do love how the artist interpreted my design just as I described it. But it's where the comedic part comes in, from his anger and humiliation of being trapped in a small, lovely female doll body and unable to use his demon-based powers. But I've been dying to find something to use this particular duo of characters. And no, your worrying will not bother me at all. The doll is about three and a half feet tall, nothing that tall, a strong wax doll. The doll has no owner, really. I was looking to find a way to relate it to your character? Perhaps the choker necklace his soul was put into had not been put on the doll, until your character found it and decided to make it complete, not quite believing what their family said about the properties of the necklace? It's just off the top of my head, though.
Oh, I'm glad to see that! I was still trying to figure out how to write my reply up there...

Ah, yes! The first thing that popped into my head was how humiliated I'd be if I was stuck in the body of a doll if I was a demon! Yes the notion of an owner to the doll came into my head because I was thinking of how weird it would be for a girl with a doll to be like, "tra-la-la! What a pretty necklace for my doll~y!" And then bam! Demon doll!

Especially if it's a male demon in the body of a female doll! A terrible humiliation! Although I've had an interesting backstory for the family that owned the item that contained the demon's soul, though it's your character and I would rather not... Unless it was a well-known fact throughout the city, though it was never considered relevant because no demon-containing artifact was ever found and exorcism of demons is now related only to churches and religious beliefs, which have no stand in this basis!

I'm cool with it being well known... Meaning I need to know what it is, becaues alls I've got is girl of unknown age with a doll that becomes possessed by a mortified demon! Unless you were thinking that the family had ties with exorcisms and it was passed down in the family, but the girl just didn't believe it because exorcism is not a big thing anymore. Is that what you thought, or was I way off the mark?

Indeed, it's basically what I was thinking! Her family was derived from a massive ring of exorcists that put demon's souls into various items. Although the need for exorcists dwindled and became less known, except relating to the mainstream religions, which never deal with demons of this nature. The girl could believe it, not believe it, either way, or she could have found the doll and the choker and felt the doll was not complete without it, and, without realizing, put the choker on the doll.
It was annoying to figure out how to make sure the choker was not easily removed. So, to make it that way, I'm making it meld to the wax, which when he is put into the body of the doll, becomes his skin.
And how shall we introduce the girl's family? Perhaps they were worried of this happening, but find use in the situation?

Hmm... I like the sounds of her finding the doll and the choker... Umm, the first thing that comes to my mind is her finding the doll in say the attic? (because everyone always finds stuff in the attic!) and its in the same crate or box or whatever and then she sees the choker and, as you said, thinks the doll would only be complete with it and puts it on the doll.
As for melding into the wax, bravo good sir! Not only does it solve the problem of just taking the choker off, but its also very clever for the doll to become the demons skin. So he shouldn't be able to transfer into another body that easily.
Ahh, the family... Hmm... If we go with the attic scenario, it could be the mother or whomever looking for the child and seeing the door open and goes into investigate. The girl could show her the doll and say something about the pretty choker she found. Or the mom/parent could find her just as she's putting the choker on the doll and is unable to stop her in time. Depending on the girls age, she might not understand the concept if her family were to have a full blown demon discussion in front of her.
----------
Ah, yes and they could say that the demon couldn't possibly do any damage in a wax dolls body and they didn't have to worry about if falling into the wrong hands or anything. Or possessing a human if that was possible...

Sure, the attic or storage room, since no doubt they have a large house for their famous lineage? A good idea to find the doll in a box, and perhaps the choker is in the bottom?
Best idea to keep that choker on the doll! Force it to stay attached to the doll's neck. And the transformation from doll to demon could come with the sacrifice of a small item from the one who reawakened the demon, such as a few drops of blood or hair from your character.
Interesting idea... Yes, a good one. And the mother is not exactly surprised as much as she is startled her daughter found the doll, and a conference is called among the family and the doll is brought in as well, since in his doll form, the demon only has as much strength as what his body shows. I would think it a good idea your character were a bit older, or at least knew about the family's past enough to follow the conversation between their family.
Perhaps the demon's dark powers are altered into feminine, girlish powers, such as summoning relates to huge, shadowy creatures in his demon form, but in his doll form, it's related to... dragonflies, hummingbirds, and small, delicate animals. Or his control over darkness and shadow is swapped for light and air. And, the doll's wax would have to be incredibly powerful, perhaps platinum wax, which stands up to massive heat.

See, everyone always finds stuff in the attic! But as you said, a famous lineage deserves something a little more grand sounding, no? And yes, I pictured it on the bottom of the box.
If she's sacrifishing blood or hair would she do it purposely or should the whole situation be completely unintentionally? Like she accidently cut herself on a piece of broken glass? You never know what you can find in an attic/ storage room. And then it happens to splatter onto the doll or choker or both.
How old should she be then? To have an interest in dolls, but still be able to follow the conversation.
That would be hilarious! "I'm gonna summon a big scary monster!" Poof! "Hummingbird...?" And yes, the wax shoudl be viturally indestructable. We don't need the demon melting on accident!
Ps. facebook will not let me send a message back to you! It's irritating me!!

Indeed, the family would be very wealthy, and live in a very large house, perhaps on the grounds their ancestors lived on.
It has little matter as to where the blood or hair comes from, but as long as it gets onto the brooch of the choker, it will let the demon turn into his normal form. I doubt we will want it to happen so soon, though, so we should really wait. Such as, when some danger comes to light after his awakening. Oh! And I have an idea, to keep him with the family and not run off to try to find a way to get the choker off! Perhaps the father knows how to put his soul back into slumber, but even in his state, the demon would rather stay awake after four hundred years.
It's your character, so it's your decision. Perhaps the family now makes dolls, and this particular doll was one of their best, and they wanted to keep it, so they hid it away.
Oh, I've played that scene out in my mind many a time and still get a laugh out of it.
And I was about to say the same thing! Facebook is having issues again. Now, I'm going outside, and when I come back, I'm going to let you read what I say while out there. It will only take a moment!

Ah, yes, I misundesrtood the bleeding part! That would make sense, and I would take being a doll over sleeping again. When you said to stop him from running away to get the chocker off, I pictured the doll running and it was the funniest and most terrifying thing I've ever imagined!
So if the family makes the dolls... Hmm... I don't know, I'm thinking teens, possibly later teens so she can actually understand the fact that there's a demon in the doll. And if she's older, she could possibly be swayed by the demon if he tries to make a deal with her, which could possibly cover the darker part. But she'd also be quick to laugh at him when he summons a hummingbird, you know?
That's another reason I wish I lived far away from the city! Then I could go out and scream my anger at the sky! If I did that now, I'd wake up all the neighbors!

Well, we got that cleared up! I think I would have to agree. Despite the humiliation of being in a female body though I'm a male... I would rather be awake! Oh, poor doll. I'm being so mean to him.
Well, it's your character, so you can choose anything you like. But the demon would be too flustered to make a deal, since he is really not that kind of demon and would not try to negotiate. I'm just imagining his face when he summons a dire wolf but a little silver and green hummingbird flies into the room, just a terrified, confused, gaping face and tears.
Oh, I love being secluded. But one thing... Murder! What if murder happens? And really, that is always in the back of my mind, all the scenarios that play out!

Ah, yes, I see how that would be true! If I were say stuck in the body of a teddy bear, I wouldn't care about anything but getting back no normal!!! And remember, being mean to them makes them stronger characters!
And I'm totally drawing that summoning as a picture for you because that's hilarious!!! I've been laughing for the past half-hour now!!
Age wise though... I don't know, sixteen, seventeen perhaps? And her being a female around that age would help explain why she decided to accesorize the doll.
So weird! Even though I'm not secluded, murder happening is at the back of my mind too! Because it's always the people who don't think it could ever happen to them in their town! So at night, I think about what I could use for weapons if I were to be attacked! I sleep with a knife next my bed, which is how paranoid I am! I actually have a humorous story abou that, but I will send it on Facebook!

A teddy bear? I would hate that! Reminds me of the movie AI: Artificial Intelligence. That little robot bear. Ah, but what if they were already strong characters? Oh, never mind, I like being mean to them. They can handle it!
You... are!? Oh, such a kind person you are! I love you, in friend-based terms, purely! Many thanks, and I'm glad I can help you laugh! Makes one's day or night all the better when I can help someone laugh!
Your decision, my dear, I have no place in answering your questions. You must make your character by yourself, just as you make all your other characters. I've gotten a much easier way to completely and utterly convey a character, which I especially like since you can go into especial detail with everything. Still, even if I found a doll with its necklace or glove or shoe off, I would have to go put it on them to make it complete. It's just a bit of me.
Please, I have murder in the back of my mind all the time! Or, the threat of murder, that is. I go into way too much detail with it, though. And I'm paranoid enough to sleep with one of my rifles under the bed. And I carry a blade of some sort on me at all times. All. Times.
