I'm just curious to know how many users use the wide range of expressions here on Mene.
And I'm not just talking about the Makin Faces CI!

My expression is pretty much set.
My avi almost always has to be smiling. I set his lips to serious once and felt like I had to post like a stick in the mud all the time.
And I always use Eye 7 and Regular eyebrows.
When I see woeful eyebrows I can't help feel a bit concerned.

So!
How many of you have ever used those pouty lips and woeful eyebrows?
Is there a set eye, eyebrow, and mouth combination that you use?
Do you use expressions to express how you feel currently or to go along with an outift?
How do you feel about others' expressions?

And now~ what combinations do you use with Makin Faces? or even any other face/expression altering item?
Favorite face evaar?

I feel weird about facial expressions,
dunno I just feel like making them not

But I like messing with multiple layers
of different items to make them look
like the eyes have a shadow around them..

Yeah, I mostly use like regular eyes,
then makin faces on top.. xD no trick to it..

What my face looks like depends on the avatar I'm making, though I do like that grin (without the red lips) that you get in the normal avatar builder.

I never change my avatar eyes, brows and lips. I leave it the way I picked it. I never thought of ever using it but now that I think about it. I never really take much risk in doing things. I feel like I would mess my avatar up and hate it, quit and never come back. >< So I'm not going to take that chance. >>; I actually like my friend avatar, she changes her avatar up and uses those. ^^ I like 'em on other avatar's just not on my avatar.

@Car: I like that grin too. The one with red makes me feel a bit weird. :lol:

@Kan: I'm with you. Never change it really. I do change my eye color to go with my outfit though.

I usually use eye three, calm eyebrow, and the lips you see on my avatar. When I use making faces, its a little rare.
One of the facial features I wish mene had was blush. And more make up...it seems you have to use a glitch to get regular looking black eyeshadow or white eye shadow. I like the ones they have in the shops, but there should be more of a variety. Some people just want regular colors without that black thing on it. :/ I also think more lip colors would be cool too. Oh, and more eyes! yesss, more eye colors and hair styles. Mmmm yesss. >w>

I don't really have a 'set' face I use...it depends on my avatar sometimes, like if I'm trying to go for a particular feel I might change the eyebrows and mouth, but I generally stick with the same eyes, though sometimes in a different color. Sometimes they reflect my mood, but not often...usually you can tell I'm in a really bad mood if I take everything off my avatar, including hair, eyebrows, eyes, and mouth, becoming a 'blank' slate.

Unless I'm doing a cosplay, I pretty much never change my avatar's set features.



In general, I use the same hairstyle, color, fair skin, eye 6 in a particular blue, neutral eyebrows, and colored pretty lips. Every once in awhile, I might change the eyebrows or have the avatar smile, depending on the outfit, but it's pretty rare. I like keeping my avatar the same because it makes me recognizable. I'm essentially representing my IRL self's looks and I just dress my avatar up - so it's like I'm cosplaying or at a party or photo shoot or in a fantasy world. :)


Though I rarely change my avatar's moods - I really enjoy seeing other people use the different avatar features. xD And I have requested certain things in terms of expressions specifically for the cosplay possibilities. :3 I like how different the faces can be from each other when people really use the features cleverly. :3

I change my expression and hair to match my avatar. I've not changed the expression or style yet on this site, but usually when I have enough items and funds to change avatars a lot, the face changes too.

I always use Eye 7, I just love the shape, but the colour changes to suit my avi. Her eyebrows are usually the 'relaxed' looking ones or 'angry', always the ones that are set lower. And her lips are usually the red closed lips, except for this avi their the colourless ones to suit her look.

Her hair is almost always this one, the colour usually shades of red/black, but black/white, green/black, red/gold has also been used.

lol I have the pouting lips and woeful eyebrows 99% of the time XD Yay for differences!

90% of the time cora uses eye 6 blue.

She will change the color if it suits the avi badly....but rarely. And ALWAYS eye 6.

I dont think that much in depth about the vibe my avi may give off. I suppose I like this soft smile simply because it isn't overwhelming or too serious. It fits my general (real life) expression pretty well.

i never seem to put a mouth on my avi's.
