So this is a constructive criticism thread. I have done art for years and I would like to stay I have a very nice base to my artwork. I have the potential to be what I want to be. The problem is, I'm not entirely sure what it is I'd like to be. I feel like my style isn't unique to me and I have taken a lot from various yaoi comics I used to read. My boys are too feminine which is now a problem as I am more into the fighting game look.

I have actually been planning a comic for over a year now and it's about the time I should start doing the character concept drawings and such. I have put it off for so long because I felt like I was never getting better with my art. I have enough confidence to share it and ask for help though. Basically I want an anime undertone, it inspires me, I like the smoothness of lines and hair and body but I want more realistic features, especially when it comes to faces.

So if you could tell me more than just "change the eyes" and actually give a suggestion that would be greatly appreciated.

If you look up the art for Guilty Gear, that is kind of what I would like to steer more to for the body-wise.

Also I know some of the hands and feet aren't the best and proportioning isn't too hot so if you'd like to give me tips or tricks, that would be great too!

Thanks. :3

These aren't completely finished and I recently have gotten prismacolored markers, so any tutorials on that or tips would be awesome too!

My drawings:
Goth Girl
My Lovely Singer Character
My Twins

You know what? You can room critique but instead I'm going to use this as a more before post. I've decided in order to better myself I am going to start again with set working from realistic anatomy then developing style. I feel I'm just too bad with the basics.

I can see what you mean when you said that your men aren't masculine. You rely heavily on the same face shape, if you change the chin from a pointed one to one that is more square, you might achieve a more masculine face. Eyebrows!! You do have them and that's a good start but remember that most emotions are showed in eyebrows, and men have larger bushier brows. (because the lady folk keep theirs trimmed) And it may seem awkward to draw, but men have junk, a simple line down there can help out in definition.
Hope this helps.
