yeah there is some stuff in the event store you can buy them with with candies... I didn't really like any of hte items that much, I got some boots.. and like some glasses or something, thats about it.

i agree, i had like 400 something candies and i didn't get to spend any of them because the event ended. it would have been nice to be able to at least look at the stuff . . .
Just a little information regarding the currency and event and how it's intertwined.

I think they should've been able to disable earning and give another day or so to spend them. Most other websites I know do that, Like Trisphee and Kingdom of Knuffel.
I had that same problem with cupcakes or whatever during the summer. They gave a two hour warning...when I was out of the house grocery shopping which is why I almost didn't participate in this event. But I did get all the EIs this time. And before the warning that THIS time I saw -.-

I spent most of my candies but the event was extended
by two hours so I kept posting waiting for the event
to end. I ended up buying more items than I originally
did so that was nice. :3
But the problem with next year is that the event rares will be different, which for this event I actually did get for once.
But the ones I missed this year? Next year I won't be able to get them. And I refuse to pay for them since people probably want way more than I'm willing to pay.

eh yeah, it wasn't really a serious complaint, I guess I should have paid more attention to the FAQ. I was just too late to spend my remaining ones and gt a little miffed.
Serious complaint or not, it's disheartening to see users upset over things like this. =\
The events aren't a required thing and with our funds the way they are, we should be thankful to even have them.
And the event information is there, they tell you what day and at what hour the event is scheduled to end. With a little bit of math or asking around anyone can find out what time exactly it would be for them and then coordination on your part.
In any case, I wish all better luck with the next event!
Well. I am properly chastised. Apparently freedom of speech/opinion isn't encouraged in this forum, even though I stated that I wan't really complaining, just mentioning a mild annoyance, and even admitted that it was my own fault because I logged on late.
I bought doubles of the red and white Lolita shoes. Anyone want to trade for them?
I couldn't trade them back. 3<
And I'm a little sad, too. I wanted to buy all the Lolita costumes.
