two years ago I got an apple ipod for Christmas and today it stopped working!! I tried to charge but it wont take a charge nor will it come on at all! I have asked my tech savy brother who had no idea what was wrong :( I tried google no help either! If you know of anything I can do to make it work I'd appreciate it VERY VERY much!!

It's probably dead for good. My neighbor had a similar problem. She'd charge it, it'd say it was completely charged, but died in seconds after unplugging it. When she'd plug it in, it'd say it needed to be hooked up to itunes. We did that, redid the thing and updated it. Later that day, she came back saying that it was doing the exact same thing it was earlier. She ended up getting a new one.

Yeah, mine did that.
Luckily, I found myself a new one.

@Murjanah this happens to me too sometimes with my iPod. Leave it and come back to it after a day or two then charge it'll work again.

Idk why it happens, first time it happend to me I was panicking so badly >.>;

It's an iPod. They die for no reason. I hate them for that reason. They also glitch up sometimes where you need to download an upgrade to "fix" it.

I hate resetting my iPod. Had to do it twice before, because it wouldn't load my music anymore.

If it's still under warranty you can send it back to Apple and they'll replace it for you. If it's not even a year old it should still be insured. C:
