I mean, I'm so used to doing pop songs, usually sung by girls, and I've never done rock before. Especially this hard, with the screaming vocals. I wish I could do that, without sounding like a little girl that's trying too hard to be screamo. Like, good control. Not actually SCREAM, but not actually SING either.
Hmmm....And I've been doing chorus for 5 years now, and I still have a weak airy voice and I'm naturally soft-spoken. I'm losing my soprano voice; I used to be an alto.
I mean, people always say, "You can do anything if you put your mind to it." Like how when my sister used to do track; she always got beaten, but one game, she put her mind to it and ended up outrunning everyone! And like me and colorguard, how I put my mind to every performance.
But those are physical performances. This one would be vocal. I'd do it for youtube; I don't care if I don't get a hundred views. Even if it's just 10 views...I just want to shine ONCE.
Thanks. What I'm going to do is when I (hopefully) get a mic for Christmas, I'm gonna do PLENTY of practice recordings. Not just of this, but of every song I do. And whichever version is the best, I'll put on youtube. I'd rather not just sing a song once, expecting it to be perfect, and then just put it out there. Drafts are going to suck.
I can't write original songs; can't think of anything. But that's ok, because I don't want to be a professional singer in the music industry anyway. Like, I'd rather just be popular on the Internet but not on TV.
