Simple because of the awesome way it is and how its SOOOO different from modern day today.
So Cloud and I have this old VW van...and one day when we have the time and money, we're going to rebuild the interior into a full camper in the style of a steampunk starship. It's going to be AWESOME. Also, instead of the exterior being a more typical red and white with silver-tone metal, we're going for red, probably black, and antique gold (probably just a finish since steel is better for these applications than most metals, but).
I don't really have the money to do much in the way of the clothes, but I'm starting to try making my own. I'll offer up some photos if I get anything made that I actually like. I'm not as big a fan of the MUST BE SUPER ACCURATE VICTORIAN just with gears for buttons haha- kind of look, but I really enjoy the kinds of things you can do with the general idea. I like being allowed to be creative, basically.
Of course! It'll probably be a few years before we have anything more substantial than design sketches, but even so, pft, I want to show off this project!
Don't really have any favorites,or, rather, I have too many. I do love me some Steampunk fashion. At some point I plan to make a steampunk alchemist outfit to wear at conventions. I've currently got the first piece reserved on Etsy. It's a leather top hat that looks like the Monster Book of Monsters from harry Potter, complete with a sealed scroll and some wicked looking teeth.
