Hello, this community seems to really be into anime and manga, so I should ask you guys what to watch (or read) next.
The last anime I've watched was Puella Magi Madoka Magica, about a year ago. And I quite enjoyed it.
I tend to not like animes set in a school type setting. I also usually don't like girly animes (there are exceptions to this).
I also like really weird stuff.

I'll give you an idea of what I have watched and liked (that I remember):
-Bacanno- This is probably my favourite anime ever :3
-Hetalia - I didn't like the new series after World Series finished. I prefer the manga.
-Tsubasa (the one based on the manga by Clamp) I have not read the manga
-Kobato- The manga is way better though
-Chobits- watched anime; read the first half of the manga
-Clover: Manga by Clamp (there is no real anime for this)
-Wish- Manga by Clamp. (I have not finished it though because I can't find the rest of the manga)
-Lupin III- I love the movies, the TV anime bored me to death.
-Mermaid's Forest/Mermaid Saga- a really obscure anime from the 90's. I have not read the manga (the manga is by the same author of Inu Yasha)
-Studi Ghubli- I have seen all up to Ponyo.
-Puella Magi Madoka Magica- As mentioned above. I have only watched the anime
-Princess Tutu- I haven't finished this one and can't recall the episode I was on.

One of the hottest animes right now is Attack on Titan. If you like weird stuff, you should enjoy this. The animation and storyline is amazingly well done.
I hope a second season will be in the works sometime.

I think you'd like Durarara, it's a very weird anime, but also very interesting.

Ah, my cousin who lived in Japan for several years sent over some copies of Mermaid Saga. Then my aunt gave the English version ones to the relative who speaks near fluent Japanese, and the Japanese language ones to me, who hasn't had a Japanese class since elementary school. What.
I mean, it looks good, at least.

I keep recommending the BlackJack OVAs from the 90s. They are available on youtube. It's not like most of those that you mentioned, but if you like Lupin III and Mermaid Saga, you might like it.

I would recommend Durarara because I've heard it is a lot like Baccano, but I've never watched Baccano before. I also recommend Full Metal Alchemist, because it is epic and awesome. I've only read the manga before, but my sister has watched the anime and says the first series is better than Brotherhood.
