If on some silly chance it is that I am the first poster, then we will skip to the next person. On a doubly silly chance that we go super fast and someone with the same avatar is first on two winning posts, then we can also skip to the next post.

So come on in, don't be shy. I'm a fan of eating so there are plenty of pastries, platters of sliced fruits, and small sandwiches on the assortment of tables. Pull up any chair that meets your fancy. The large leather loveseat or the blue cushioned armchair or any other.

Thanks! She didn't used to have the hat and I felt something was missing - felt like the hat just fit. I was going to get the plain green one, but the one I got felt like it fit better than the plain one.=]

I am so glad you didn't use the plain green one. That hat is what really completed your avatar. It has green and yellow... complimenting the rest of your items.

Well, I have Sunday off so I am just chilling and hanging out at home. It is raining so I decided not to walk to school until after it stops. That might be later today. So I am stuck at home for now. No complaints. Like the rest since I didn't sleep well.

I'm currently nannying with my friend - as I'm with her for the weekend, just chilling at the house that she is a nanny at with the little 2 year old that she watches. She's currently cooking dinner and I'm on here, in between jumping up to help her with stuff. :)
I'm headed down tomorrow with my dad to see my grandmother. :)

I work at a boarding school for middle school students and high school students in South Korea. Yeah, I know lol. I'm teaching English even though my degree is history education. I like having a day off, but just one day. Having more than that is a bit too much for me to be by myself, or so I am learning.

Wow, a nanny :) That is really cool. I admire people who can work with younger children. My patience level is low in that department and I feel horrible when I am not more understanding. So I am glad that she is able to and has that job.

Oh, I remember talking to you about that before. Sorry, I'm feeling a bit spacy lately! I bet that is a lot to take in!

Yeah, he's trying her patience at the moment with dinner time. Apparently he finds it yucky. It's not yucky, I found it pretty yummy. It was Creamy Pesto noodles, chicken with a light Italian seasoning and carrot sticks.

lol ah the joys of little kids. I agree that that sounds absolutely yummy... but little kids tend to prefer simpler tastes. He will change his mind whether he likes something or not several times before he grows up. I remember when I was little I loved bean burritos, then they were just terrible to eat, then I liked them again, then I hated them... not liking them again until high school.

There are plenty of people on here that you probably interact with. Keeping each person straight can be difficult. I know I mix some people up myself. Usually as they change their avatar ;)

Yeah, I agree with you - it wasn't too fancy. But he's just being picky there. Being a kid, like sitting there telling us it was yucky, and not eating it. My friend had to get up and feed him and make sure he'd swallow it and not spit it out. I was the same way but with eggs, but to this day, I'm still not a fan of them, I've not been a fan of them since I was in my early teens. xD so weird - food preferences.

Yeah, I do have a handful of people I talk to on here - it's not really that many though. It used to be more. >.< But I agree with you there, you get used to one avatar, and then they change it and you're like "Wait, who are you?" LOL! xD

A lot of food I used to be picky about, I no longer mind that much. Mostly because since coming to South Korea, I have discovered that there are a lot more foods that I don't like here than at home. I used to not be a fan of Mexican, but now it is on my favorite list simply because it really does taste good and is familiar.

I almost seem to rotate through people. I'm in a thread and we hang out, but then I move to another thread or they do and I don't see them for awhile. Some people leave Menewsha for a bit and then later return too. More people return than stay away when they say they are leaving forever and ever.

I'm not super picky with food. Although I can be... at times. xD

Lately I've been feeling VERY blah about Mene overall.

I can understand that. I have been engaged a lot so I haven't. I made a bunch of new threads as well as started art contests and a mafia game. Now I am also helping twotickets with planning for her user event she wants to run this fall between Halloween and Christmas.

I try to get back into it, but due to issues that keep coming up - it doesn't seem to make me want to be here much anymore. But that's me. *shrugs* That's just me though. Not many people seem to understand my issues and why they bother me so.
It's a miracle I still branch out at all due to said issues.

What issues are you talking about? Is it site related or real life?

I find that when I have problems on here, just talking it out with a moderator helps a lot.

The issues are site related and I doubt it's something that a moderator could fix. Because basically time and time again, I've been told I need to try harder, and that it's my fault. So apparently only I can fix it, yet I am sick of trying as hard as I am time and time again to have things just fail... time and time again.

Oh dear, I'm sorry darling. *hugs* Is there a way to not necessarily try harder but instead to avoid the problem in the first place?

I don't see any way to really avoid the problem, because my problem is feeling like I'm constantly being overlooked, but basically I've been getting the feeling that no one wants to hear me 'whine' and that I'm just supposed to shut up and take it and not do anything about it. Blah blah blah... I've come so close to quitting Mene in the past few months because of it. People say that they don't mean to, but there are times that I just question it... I go into threads, and I'm almost always overlooked. *sighs* I really don't know what else I can do. Without screaming and feeling like I'm going crazy because that's how I feel right now honestly. :( Because I can only try so much, and being told time and time again that basically it's my fault and I need to try harder... really now, I'm sick of trying and not being met half way. I can only do this so much before I just give up completely.

And I don't mean to make people feel bad, I am just sick of feeling this way... but the more I try, the more I seem to just crash and burn, and then feel worse and worse, and I feel like I'm just supposed to shut up about how I really feel. Because talking about it makes people not want to talk to me... It's an endless cycle and I feel like most of Mene is out for me, because I feel upset and hurt, and yet, by talking about it, it just gets worse.

Oh you mean when you go into threads, that no one talks to you? Is that what is happening?
