The Death of December
As the snow fell,
So did she
Fell so fast
It scared me
And all her flowers
Scattered beside her
Her violet gaze stripped of all sense of power
That's when I knew
Something went wrong
Maybe too late
My love, too far gone
And when the last of the snow
Swept her away
Her lovely crown
Melted away
The only thing that was left untouched
Was her cold, cold body
On the soft bed of snow
And the frozen heart that she clutched
And in the act of ending her life
She ended December with her final strife
As if to say
She would've stayed
If the cold
Melted away
