Sometimes!
I'll do proper things later.
For now, welcome! I don't cook that often, but when I do I prefer Dos Equ-- wait...

I'm not much for creating things on my own, instead finding recipes and giving them a shot!
Here is where I plan to share what I've tried.

Tried and Wouldn't Mind Doing Again
In no particular order just yet.

Banana & Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast- Really good! Makes quite a bit. I accidentally put bananas on both sides, but it cooked fine and was delicious anyway.
Spaghetti alla Carbonara- So nice to have something to do with noodles other than tomato sauce.
Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes- I had to use regular-sized muffin tins. The batter held its shape pretty well though (so they didn't become flat pumpkin things). I'm not so skilled with my spoon work though so they were lumpy.
sweet potato and bacon hash
Healthy Breakfast Salad- Used regular cucumber a few times. Didn't have avocado so skipped that. Skipped parsley also. Used dried basil instead. Made this the night before eating. Warmed the egg in the microwave and ate it alllll.
Galette with almonds and figs- My construction wasn't the greatest, but it didn't matter because it was delicious.
Grilled Figs with Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberry Sauce- Did this pretty haphazardly in a pan on the stove instead of a grill. Was good regardless!
Secret Ingredient Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting- Used the alternative to cake flour presented in the recipe. Very moist! And I liked the tang from the sour cream.
Old Bay Potato Skins- My first time, personally, trying the seasoning.
Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Trifle- I originally made this for people, but actually ate it all myself.
Chive and Black Pepper Popovers- So simple and delicious. Butter the heck out of the muffin tin otherwise they will stick like nobody's business.
Roasted Root Vegetables- Made this frequently one winter.
Vegan Peanut Butter Mug Cake- Pretty sure I substituted the flax seed for something else, but I can't remember. Do remember that mug cakes are finicky and need watching.
Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte- Fun idea! Glad I found it. Sometimes I skip the pumpkin puree and just sprinkle pumpkin pie spice in a cup of chai.
Pasta with Italian Sausage and Roasted Red Peppers- Skipped the olives. This was a fun recipe to try. The red peppers made it a little sweet which was just a tad odd, but easy enough to get over and enjoy.
Rocco Dispirito’s Fudgy Fruit & Nut Bars- Pretty sure I used eggs for this. It was a very dense, but tasty knd of "brownie." I'd try it again if I had a bigger blender; that was the biggest pain.
Toads in the Hole- Another easy recipe. Pretty sure I used some sausages and some hot dogs. I was fine eating it like this, but a gravy probably would have made it better.
Italian Easter Bread- Really fun to make! Didn't put the egg in the middle though.
Gnocchi- A lot of work! Used a fork instead of the gnocchi board.
Pear-Kiwi Salad- So refreshing. I pretty much just used the amounts as a guide.
Kiss Pies- Simple and tasty. Not too sweet.
Cookie Dough Bites- A lot more simple to make than I thought. Makes a small amount which is good for not overindulging.
Blueberry Panna Cotta
Ichigo Daifuku (Strawberry wrapped in red bean paste and mochi)
Melonpan- Another one that's a good bit of work, but fun.
Candied Orange Peel- Really cool to make. I used them for a recipe, but it was neat to see just how much they tasted like the orange slice candy.
Orange Cookies Dipped in Chocolate- My first try with shortbread. Damn, they were so good. I liked them a bit undercooked too.
Chocolate and Maraschino Cherry Shortbread Cookies- Another delicious batch of shortbread.
Spinach-Sausage Saute with Pan-Fried Gnocchi- Used just kielbasa with this. And hardly the chipotles as it got pretty spicy pretty quickly.
No-Bake Vegan Granola Bars- Used honey instead of agave and kind of played the amount by ear to suit my wants. Also used almonds, I think, instead of pepitas.
Crockpot Shepherd’s Pie- Used a little bit less than 2 pounds for the beef. Also used beef bullion cubes and water instead of cartoned liquid beef broth. Used minced garlic out of a jar instead of fresh and mixed that along with all the spices with the last cup of broth. Also used instant potatoes.
Chocolate Soup with Cake Croutons- Burned my first batch (and ruined the pot), so make sure you keep an eye on the mixture while it's on the stove. Stir, stir, stir so it's not sticking to the bottom. It didn't taste too sweet to me, but I do have a sweet tooth so I'm unsure how accurate that is.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites- Easier than the other ones I made, no cooking required. I think these are a bit healthier too. Used honey instead of maple syrup and set them in the fridge to firm up a bit plus they just taste better colder.
Creamy pesto chicken with roasted tomatoes - My first time working with pesto! I did a mixture of fresh spinach and dried basil to make it. Used just regular ol sliced bread in a food processor for the bread crumbs. Forgot that the Parmesan needed to be in the pesto so I ended up just sprinkling some on top of the breaded chicken. Turned out good!

Is it alright if I post, or are you still adding things? :3 I can delete if so... but that kiwi-pear salad looks too delicious to not talk about.

Are those lime cupcakes in your siggie?

And what is this about bacon and sweet potato hash? I usually go sweet over savory with those.

@Luthor: I assume so!
It was actually pretty good. Nice to have sweet potato in something else that wasn't just sweetness.

@Hummy: Too much work to me! I buy them premade now. Though I don't buy them often.
Oh, I have a recipe actually that I've used fairly recently that has gnocchi, I buy premade. -searches-

my nonnie used to make gnocchi all day long. the whole kitchen table would be full of them and i would be covered in flour. so a little batch is no big thing for me and then i freeze them for use when i want them. premade gnocchi are good, too.

Ah yeah, freezing is a good option for extra. I seem to never get into the habit of that. I probably should.
I had never had it before making it and I'm lazy for cooking so yeah, plenty of work to me.

@Luthor: Hummy brought it up.
And yup! You can. I haven't though.

Congratulations! Welcome to the world of starting food two hours before you want to eat and realizing one hour in that it won't be ready until dinner. Timing. Timing. Timing. lol. It's truly something you cannot plan with your stomach.

Hummy approved recipe! Roaster garlic butter! I did my first batch with that browned butter and sage and wasn't too impressed. So I'm glad for something else.

I just had some shrimp scampi from the frozen section. Oh my god. So much butter... oh my god. They were babies, but before I cooked them the butter made them look like good sized cocktails. I've only had seven and I feel sick.

I can eat a mountain full if it's not too rich. BACON WRAPPED! Do you like crab or lobster, or is it more of an allergy thing?

I like fake crab. But I don't really care for real crab or lobster. It's an all-encompassing thing. Don't care for the texture, taste, etc~
