The gold piles up fast if you do it right. The more you participate, the more you'll get.

I find people are quite nice here, nobody ever has begged from me or treated me like a beggar for drooling over something they had, and there are threads here and there where people sometimes just do nice things for the newer people.

All of my best things have been gifts from friends, and I never expected any of it, so all I can say is make friends, be happy, and everything you want will come to you eventually.

You can even ghost items owned by other users, but you'll need to establish a little trust first. You can find out all about all sorts of things in the info section, and nobody has ever minded me just asking a random question in the middle of a conversation.

We're very welcoming, the staff are like family, and we're a real community. This is it, you found it.

I find a good way to save up gold is to have a secondary account (they allow us each one "mule"), and every time I see I've got enough gold to want to go spend it, I donate it to my mule instead. This keeps me feeling poor enough to want more, and I find places to post and games to play, or just have a conversation for five hours, lol. Then when my mule's got lots of gold, and I realize I can get that big thing I wanted, I log on as the mule and donate it all back to my main account.

It's like having a bank account, helps me save up.

I have found they aren't too bad. If you gradually collect you may not get every item, but it is very possible to get any item if you're willing to quest for it.

That's good -- I already like this place, and I sure hope that I will be able to stay here for almost ever! And I sure hope I'll be able to make friends on here, but I feel as though that won't be a problem if you guys are any indication of the people I'll meet here
