Hey guys! I need a casual Rp. I am a busy mom most of the time and can only post when my kids are gone and the hubby is asleep which means someone willing to be patient with my responses. I'm honestly kinda new at this, I've done table top rp's and a few forum rp's on gaia and of course rpg's so theres that but i've never REALLY delved into it and would like to.

Anyway I am looking for 1-2 people for a few different types of rp:

High Fantasy//Adventure ~ Elves orcs dwarves off to save the princess/slay dragons and whatnot~

School//Slice of life ~ Because I'm a sucker for school dramas {would not be opposed a magic school or school for specials or monsters or whatever}

Fandom//original characters ~ Original characters in the harry potter universe or maybe from soul eater or even a pair of new companions for the doctor? {I would prefer not to mess with the original story lines of the fandom which is why I want original characters. The only reason I'd be okay with the Doctor who one is because throughout time the doctor has had MANY companions lol}

If you have any ideas I would love to hear them!

I'd totally be for a one on one or a small group for school rp

I would love to try out a high fantasy role play. I will soon be going back to college in a week or so, I totally understand having a busy life.

I'd also be willing to do some sort of slice of life role play.

I don't tend to do group role plays because of how frequent or infrequently I may be on due to life.

Okay so where to start I really didn't think this through.

So how do you usually set up your rps? Do you come up with a general plot? Or just a setting and start randomly somewhere and go do something?

That really depends on who I role play with. Usually a general plot is thought of; I usually do this by brainstorming with my partner. After that is setting up characters. Like, is there going to be romance? What kind of romance, and who gets to play what.

Would you prefer to start the role play somewhere random or make up a general plot?

I'd like to come up with a general plot so I can atleast have a inkling of what I'm suppose to do XD

Sorry Everything decided to get in my way today. Hopefully tomorrow things will have settled down. (Had a glass pan explode all over my kitchen i'm a wreck because I was standing right in front of it when it happened thankfully i'm not hurt)

Good lol I'm the same I like structure, but I do know a few people who like to just hop in somewhere and go do something so I wanted to be sure.

I do have a few ideas for a few different things that would be cool for a fantasy rp but its not a big plot point just....part of one I guess lol. But as for now I think I need to sleep because I dont think my tired brain would do my idea any justice!

I would be happy to hear anything you might have. I can try and build off that. My mind is a little frizzled right now.

I know the feeling I'm dreading having to go into the kitchen this morning. There's broken glass all over the stove that I was too shaky to clean up last night and i'm still shaken up about it. In fact I may not be on too much today because of this.

Anyway My biggest idea was to have a world with whatever fantasy character we come up with, where when you were born so was your spirit partner. Something like a dragon or some small mythical creature in spirit form would be an amplifier to your magick power or something like a familiar. The more your spirit partner grows and changes the more magickal power you gain. like if I were to have a fairy when I was born she would eventually with time and hard work grow into something like a harpy or an angelic looking thing or something? does that make sense? and it can really be any mythical creature like we all have tiny lizards that turn into dragons and you can basically summon them or send them away with your magick but when theyre gone they go back to the spirit world and can constantly communicate with you through telepathy. It would also be able to have a physical form so when it got bigger it could possibly be a mount.

Also maybe the 'spirit' world and the physical world are 'sister planets' but one is in the spirit dimention or something (Have you ever seen the movie Upside Down ? the worlds would look something like that only the one is slightly transparent which is why its called the spirit world if that doesnt make sense i can try to explain it better)

So ts not a main plot point but it sounds like it could be fun to add into something! Whatcha think?

I almost watched that movie but never got the chance to. The evolution aspect kind of sounds like what happens in my Shin Megami Tensei with those partners. They start off as something smaller and grow more powerful into other creatures. I've never actually included such a thing into my role play but I would totally be okay with it. With our characters being adults, what 'level' would the partners be at?

I'm not really sure what actual plot to put with that honestly, without it being too cheesy. XD

How did you manage to have the glass... what was it(?) explode on you?

Haha hadn't thought of that it does sound like megaten! lol i didnt get to play much of that but i loved that partner thing!
I generally have a friend with all my rp characters if I can, simply because I like writing out interaction between my character and her pet. It's just fun and it feels like they're slightly lonely without a companion. It's just an idea though we could come up with something MUCH better anyway. I will continue to think lol.

We should find somewhere to start though. What kind of fantasy story do we want?

And it was a Pyrex glass pie pan. I had been making spaghetti for dinner and I had a few small garlic toast pieces in the broiler in the pie pan. I moved the spaghetti from the burner and 'turned off the burner' not thinking about it and freaking that my bread would burn I pulled it out and set it on the hot burner I thought I had turned off. Suddenly there was a loud [CRACK] and then {POP} It ended up exploding right in front of me I'm lucky I didn't get a single cut when that easily could have riddled me with glass. Got in the food in the hall and inside my range-top that now REALLY needs replaced. Yup it scared the holy gerbils out of me and I didn't stop shaking for a good half hour.

I do like the partner thing. XD Maybe if they don't evolve and can maybe just change between to forms even like Kirara from Inuyasha.

Hmm... by what type, for time period or events? I always think that some sort of adventure might be nice as typical as it is. I am kind of feeling like doing something based around a medieval time period.

And oh my. That... you really are lucky. I probably would have drop dead from a heart attack from something like that.

That sounds good! I used to draw kirara all over my book covers in school! I could totally go for that!

I absolutely agree by the way, medieval era sounds awesome and as for adventure that's perfect but the question is what kind of adventure?

And don't worry about wanting something typical. I'm still new ish at rp and typical is still a little hard lol!

And yeah It was quite possibly the single most startling thing to ever happen to me.

Hmmm... a soul searching adventure? No, seriously though, I'm not sure. I don't usually do the typical fantasy role play if I can help it. In this case, I am totally okay with it though. XD Should it be some grand quest to save the world? Or maybe our characters just somehow start traveling with one another and the other has a dark past? Or was sent on a mission to kidnap/befriend the other character?

.....What about finding treasure? we could be sent out on a quest looking for a magckal treasure that would maybe change the world or save a life or something? and add in a few things like you said. Have our characters meet up along the way or have like the king assign one of us to the other for protection and we become friends.

Sounds good to me. :D It gives me the idea of using a character who is a blind seer or something that maybe sees said treasure.

That would be awesome! I have an idea for a character . He's kinda like a hunter woods guide knows his way around type person has limited magic uses a bow and two kukri mostly to hunt but can still do combat pretty well.

I'm still thinking I'm gonna have a shape shifting companion though. I don't think the other pets would work in this though we can stills o that if you want or we can just have a pet because we can.

How about a magical school rp? like for gifted young students that have different types of powers. even ability's,they can be of different races. at least that is my idea that I have right now. what do you think of it?

Sorry, I didn't realize you had posted again. O.o I still like the idea of the companions. I was thinking some sort of bird, mayb an owl or hawk, for my character. To kind of balance her blindness. Maybe with the ability to see through the animal's eyes for a brief period.

That would be awesome! I haven't done one of those in forever. Not sure why.

Yeah a fantasy school setting is always fun. What do you think though where do we start it is it a highschool a college? would we have dorms or do we get to go home at the end of the school day?

It can be a high school setting as a bordering. school setting dorms is great idea sorry if I spelled it wrong oen of the word I mean.
