It's said to launch in 2017 and to NOT to be base around the new movies. Which gives me hope that it'll be set in the Prime Universe. XD I'm SO excited...and a little scared.

Right after they announced the pilot date they said only that episode would ever be on tv. The rest will only be available threw their streaming thing. >:( Not really impressed about that. But I guess Proxies? Maybe? Since I'm not in the US.

Right now all we know is that it's an all new cast and crew just waiting to be discovered. I'm ready. :D

Oh that's awesome. I grew up watching Star Trek, so I am looking forward to this.
