Evangeline sat down at her computer eagerly. The next Supernatural book by Carver Edlund was supposed to come out today, and she couldn’t wait to download it. She had been a little annoyed when it was announced that the books following “Swan Song” would be released online, but also relieved that they were going to continue. There had been a final note to “Swan Song” and she had feared that it would end there, with Sam and Adam stuck in the cage with Lucy and Mike. She checked, and sure enough, there was a listing for “Exile on Main St.” the first of the next series. She thought it a bit odd that it was only available from the author’s site, not on Amazon or Barnes and Noble, but she was going to get to read it, that was what really mattered.

She clicked the link, payed through paypal, and waited for the pdf file to download. Within minutes she was happily immersed in the world of Supernatural. The book started off with a scene of Dean, working as a mechanic. It showed him going into high alert when a customer mentioned a cold spot, asking them questions that almost got him fired. The next chapter switched to Castiel’s perspective. It showed him praying to his Father, telling him of a war developing with Raphael, and his attempts to free Sam from the Cage. He told him he had not realized that he had only been able to retrieve Sam’s body, until after Sam failed to reconnect with Dean. The uncertainty and resigned desperation were so clear, that even as the story switched scenes, Eva found herself unable to focus on the rest of the story. She couldn’t get out of her mind. Even after she took a break, as she was cleaning her apartment, she kept hearing Cas’ words.

After two hours of this, she decided drastic action was in order. Even knowing that it was just a story, she couldn’t let Cas’ plea for advice go unanswered. Taking a deep breath, she spoke. “Castiel, if your real, please remember you are not alone. Talk to Dean, let him know what’s going on. He wouldn’t thank you for hiding it from him. He considers you a friend, and he doesn’t take that lightly. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Am—“

Eva was interrupted by the sound of wings behind her. She turned, startled, to find a man who most certainly matched Castiel’s description standing in her living room, his expression angry. “Who are you? How do you know what’s going on?”

Evangeline winced. “What the? Who are you, and why are in my living room? This isn’t funny!”

“You know who I am, you just finished praying to me.” He started at her intently. “Evageline Lael, who are you working for?”

“Castiel is a character in a book series, he can’t be real!” Eva felt herself becoming hysterical, and her knees gave out. The man caught her and set her on the couch, his expression changing to one of confusion.

“If you do not believe me to be real, why did you pray to me?”

Evageline stared at him wordlessly, too lost in disbelief to reply. He frowned, then reached out to touch her forehead. Evangeline felt his presence within herself, and realized that she no longer doubted his claim.

He was silent for several moments, then removed his hand. “You honestly don’t know, do you?”

“Know what?”

“You are a fallen angel. Your memories of your past are buried so deep that I cannot retrieve them, but it was from those memories that your urge to pray originated.” He started to say something else, but then looked up, and touched her forehead again.
Suddenly, they were no longer in Eva’s apartment, but standing in a suburban neighborhood. Eva swore. “What the? What’s going on?”

“My apologies, but we were about to be interrupted by those loyal to Raphael.”

“Ok, I get why you needed to leave, but why bring me?” Eva asked, feeling annoyed.

“If you are what you seem, they would torture you for information, then kill you. I could not leave you for them, knowing what you do.”

Eva paled, and winced. “Right. Good choice. Umm, how long before it will be safe for me to go back?”

“Never. In fact…” He reached out and touched her forehead, and Eva felt a burning pain in her rib cage, which faded as he pulled his hand away. “Now they will be unable to find you.”

Eva felt light headed. “So what am I supposed to do now? I have a job, and a family, you know.”

“For their own safety, I suggest you avoid contacting them. I have brought you to Dean. I have no choice but to take your advice now, as I cannot help you establish a new identity, or be with you to protect against your being found by agents of Raphael.”

In spite of everything, Eva felt a rush of excitement. “I get to meet Dean?”

“Yes.” Castiel turned his back to her, and went up to the door of the house they had been standing in front of. He rang the doorbell.

(So after a long wait to a post I always look up my inspiration to help me out. So here are a few I will share if I find more than one :P INSPIRATION: No these are not fem gabe/dean but they are gabe/dean :P Who's the chick? - Kiss - Distraction - Someone interrupted them lol)

(Alright so I finally figured things out and who is who. What is happening and all that stuff. I won't say anything here though in case we have readers. NOW it's time to get started.)

Dean was sitting at the table cleaning his weapons knowing he should always keep them cleaned regardless if they were hunting that day. You never knew what life, karma, or anything else would throw at you whether you suspect it or not. Sammy was in the room with him sitting on the bed with his feet up skimming through websites on the angels. Trying to learn as much as he could as well as about the dream Dean was having that was reoccurring lately.

"Anything yet, Sammy?" Dean asked, they hadn't had much luck lately with getting any side jobs to get paid. Get rid of the problem and get paid. That's all Dean wanted, but the problems lately had been pilling up. Well the ones the brothers didn't want to deal with that is.

"Not really, it just tells me about the arch angels and what they do. Where they came from or so far what people know about them. Pretty useless stuff." Sam wasn't really reading about the archangels, he was doing some research on something else instead that seemed to have caught his interest along the way. The internet was vast and never fully explored, so that was what he was doing.

Looking up from his guns he glanced to Sam raising his eyebrow "Cas never uses the door" making a statement about how the angel usually just pops in without warning. Standing up he loaded one of his already clean guns while Sam stayed where he was at staring at the laptop ignoring him. That there was pretty normal for Dean seeing as they were constantly around each other, being brothers who hunt evil and all.

Peaking out of the peephole through the door he saw Cas and some other chick with him. Putting the weapon behind him he opened the door after unlocking it. "Since when do you use the front door, Cas?" Dean asked gesturing them inside while glancing the girl over. More like woman rather than girl seeing as how cute she looked. Something was familiar about her, but he couldn't place it. Dean never forgot a pretty face before, so he figured he would just ask. "Who's the chick?" in his casual way, he almost said 'Who's the cutie?' but refrained from it. The most beautiful things in the world are the most dangerous.

((If it's okay, I'll let you handle Cas' explanation, I'm not sure at exactly what point you have this set, so I don't want to mess up your plan. I love the pictures!))

Eva struggled to keep from staring as the door was answered. She had known Dean was good looking from the oft repeated description in the books, but the reality was breathtaking. Also, somehow familiar. She told herself it must be from all the times she had read a description of him. She was amused at Dean’s comment about Cas using the door, but she didn’t say anything, instead heading inside. She stopped just inside, shocked by the person sitting on the bed. The tall, long haired, blonde man could only be Sam. She was so astonished, that it took a moment to register Dean’s question about her identity.

“Um.. Hi. I’m Eva, err... I mean Evangaline Lael.” Eva found herself blushing furiously as she stumbled over her words, slightly intimidated by meeting a man who was not only that gorgeous, but also Dean Winchester, who had been the major player in a team that went up against Heaven and Hell to save the world. “I, uh, prayed to Castiel, and now he says that Raphael will be after me, so I can’t go home.” The enormity of the situation finally hit her. “D*** it, this isn’t supposed to real. It’s supposed to be fictional!” She felt herself begin to tear up, a furiously wiped her eyes. “My parents better be okay. If they get killed because I was an idiot...”

Searching for anything to distract herself from the horribleness of that thought, her eyes fell on Sam. “I guess there is a significant lag between the books and reality. Um, I’m glad you’re not in the cage anymore.” She paused, and realized how stupid that sounded, and realized she was rapidly heading to hysteria. “I’m going to sit down, shut up, and breathe for a minute, before I start screaming.” Eva went to the unoccupied bed and sat down, prepared to let Castiel do the rest of the explaining.

(Kay let's see what I can do here, "The tall, long haired, blonde man could only be Sam." you must mean brown hair :P and do me a favor but explain Eva's appearance for me so I know what Dean (me) is looking at)

Dean listened to the girl speak taking in her appearance then blinking when she said her name. Evangeline, that was an interesting name. Normally when they met someone it was a simple odd or bland name. Dean sighed wondering just how old this woman was if she was talking about her parents. Though anyone would be worried after a random event occurred as such. Sam and himself were rather quite used to stupid events like this especially involving the angels.

Castiel watched in confusion thinking it was odd not only that she couldn't remember who she was, but even he had yet to fully know who she was. "Well, that was interesting. I'll keep an eye on your parents, but you should focus on remembering sooner than later. If you stay in your human form too long, Raphael's followers will come after you. What they will do will not be pleasant and it may even lead back to your family here on this plane."

"Evangaline is a fallen angel without any memories, we do not yet know which fallen angel, but we do know that Raphael wishes to convert or kill any angels not on his side." Castiel added watching Dean go to the fridge to get three sodas handing one to their new guests (Castiel and Evangaline). Cas just stared at his, he did know what Soda was, but he rarely cared for anything while on earth. Then again angels didn't need to but the human hosts they took over did need something to keep going.

"So Raphael is wanting more things he can't have and will throw a fit if he don't get them. So we just need to get an angel's blade and stake the motherf*****." Dean stated simply until Sam mentioned "Oh and you make it sound so easy." being all sarcastic a** on his brother. "Oh shut up, I'm just stating the facts." Dean argued "How old are you anyways Eva, you're at least twenty right?" wondering if this was going to be considered kidnapping or not.
