Holy spinoffs Batman. This one is (as i'm sure youve all worked out by now) basicly the same as the other thread but for the marvel fans rather than DC fans....

So who is your fave Marvel hero. Personaly it's a really tough choice for me sinse I'm more of a fan of villains than heroes. So to make it easier. i'll say ignoring films and TV shows and the like who's your fave? Just in the comic books.

Iron Fist is my all-time favorite Marvel hero. Especially with his current run. Ho jizz. Brubaker is my god now.

Deadpool is a close second, and for third.... hmm... Probably Thor.

He IS.

I am SO mad that Cable and Deadpool is getting canceled. Unless something awesome happens like Gail Simone gets to write a new Deadpool run. Because that would be manly.

Blackheart. I know he's evil and a total bad boy, but he's just so well developed; but his character in the movie 'Ghost Rider' was butchered. His comic alias is much better, apart from Blackheart, Dr Strange. Just such amazing characters.

My favorite marvel hero is Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) from the X-men. She just reminds me a lot of myself. Plus she has Lockheed.

My next favorite is actually a whole team, I've kinda started to love the New X-Men. Pixie, Cessily, Laura, and Rockslide are the best.

Probably Reed Richards. I love scientists and geeky heroes. Nightcrawler and Deadpool are favourites too. Oh, and I'm sure I'd really like Pete Wisdom from what I've seen, but I haven't read much with him in it.

I love Wolverine, I don't really know why but ever since I discovered the X-Men way back when, I have absolutely adored Wolverine.

My favorites... And coincidentally my team of choice in marvel ultimate alliance, Deadpool, Ghost rider, Captain america, and Thor.

Deadpool... whats not to love? i mean seriously... that guys comic has it all. the 4th wall breaking humor, lots of eye candy, puns and quips and bob (hail hydra!) its just too good to pass up

Ghost rider, Johnny blaze, but in the good old days when he was wearing the leather jumpsuit and his bike was made of fire... where he spent half his time as a hero when blaze was in control and half the time as a raving psychopath when the demon was in control. so many classic stories and moments from blaze's ghost rider, even the newer stuff is good though

Captain america... Well he's dead (i mean steve rogers is dead. The winter soldier is taking over for him) Cap is beyond my ability to describe... he's a soldier, a proud citizen and he's not afraid of going against anyone up to and including the government of his own country to make sure that this country doesnt fall into the hands of tyrants.

and Thor... come on, how can you not love Thor. The odinson doth rock hard! especially now that he's back and awakening the souls of the gods of asgard. Theres nothing cooler than a hard partying god with a backstage pass to valhalla.

I like all of the X-Men. If I had to choose I guess it would be Wolverine or Gambit. I have a soft spot for the bad boy attitude.

My favorite Marvel character is and has been for well over ten years (my God, I was just a little kid!) Gambit from the X-Men. I always had soft spots for some of the others--I liked Nightcrawler and Magneto...I didn't like Iron Man so much, but I did like Tony Stark--you know, if that makes any sense.

Spiderman hands down. The fact that he's a struggling teenage human makes him show that through the powers, he still has feelings. Also, his dialect is great. It's witty and makes me laugh(ie: @ the rhino: Is that a horn or are you just happy to see me?)

although deadpool comes at a close second

I actually have several fave marvel characters. And they are.....

Guys:
Captain America, Steve Rogers and not Bucky.
Wolverine, got to love the best there is.
Thor, foresooth he is a god after all.
Spider-man, he is a good guy no matter what.

Gals:
She-hulk, she is a piece of hot green ass.
Jean Grey, she could mind rape me any day.
Black Cat, This cat could cross my path whenever she wanted to.

Of course there are more gals I like, but these three come to mind first.

Mr. Remy LeBeau otherwise known as Gambit.
He is eyes are so amazing. i love the Red-on-Black look they gave his eyes.
And his idea to charge his power to cards and only cards is awesome.
Is accent is to die for and he is such a ladies man.
And on top of that i loved how he NEVER gave up trying to Rogue
okay that was one man who was in Love. haha
and they looked amazing together.

Magneto.

...Oh, you said hero! Oops. In that case it'd have to be Nightcrawler. I don't know what it is, but his steady faith and refusal to let the world's perception shape his own self-image strikes a chord with me. Even his spiritual faith does, which is odd and very very rare. He's spiritual and religious without shoving it in a person's face, or at least he was last time I read the comics. You have to respect a person for that, even a fictional one.

My favorite female hero would be Emma Frost, for pretty much the opposite reasons. She's tough, focused, dedicated and willing to do almost anything it takes to reach her goals. She took what (as well as who) was given to her in life, the good and the bad, and used it to get where she is now. Through it all, she's remained mostly true to her own personal morals, which were ones she created for herself, took the mud slung at her, and if I recall correctly has stepped over pretty much every person who slung it. Dorky as it sounds, she gives me hope that I can do the same.

I'm more of a DC girl myself, but when it comes to Marvel...I'd have to say for the boys, we're looking at Tony Stark (Not necessarily Iron Man), and Spiderman.

Tony because he's basically the Bruce Wayne of the Marvel Universe, barring one thing. He's openly a drunken letch, and openly a superhero. Bruce has a stick up his bum, as much as I love Batman, I've always been more fond of his Proteges. *Snuggles the Robins, all Four*

Spidey because...well...because he's spidey. Everyone loves the everyman, and he IS the everyman. He tries to do what is good and right, and generally succeeds...but he's still human, and that why we all like him. Spidey you can relate to. Robin? Not so much.

Also, as an aside...Marvel makes much better movies than DC. Other than Batman Begins, I've always been dissapointed by DC's superhero films. Marvel pretty much hits a home run every time.

*is amused* Holy spinoffs batman? You spend far too much time immersed in comic books :P Hmmm, why am I talking to you? You don't even come on Mene anymore do you Jayms?

Well I'm sure you already know it by now but my favourite Marvel hero is Daredevil (although I do like iron man too, I'd just forgotten about that love till the film came out). I like daredevil because he is majorly flawed. I like the fact that he's blind and still a superhero.

I like flaws.

I'd have to say Iron man, hands down.
I had a completely different view of him before I saw the movie, and learned a bit about his background, so I read up on him and
homg.
Epic.
