Well, it doesn't seem like this part of the forum is very lively..
But I LOVE comic books. So I must post. Anything!

Anyway, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac.
It's a GREAT comic series by Jhonen Vasquez, who has also created several other popular (mostly in alternative subcultures, but, whatever) comic books.
And even a television show!
Anyone ever heard of Invader Zim?
That was his creation as well.
JtHM isn't exactly for the faint hearted though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you enjoy...Happier, and less gruesome things.
It is rather wonderful and makes you think a lot, so you know, if you like things like that then you could Google it, and most likely find online scans of the comics for just a taste.

Thanks for listening. :]

He's cool, there's another series by him that I like. I wish I could remember it, but it was awesome. I feel sick, or something? Ohh, I really need to look it up now.

I used to read that all of the time a few years ago, but alas I can find nowhere that sells it. Hot Topic used to, but now they don't, so... <//33

I love Squee. x3

He's adorable. xD

Gunna be so messed up when he's older though..

Try looking around any comic book stores in town or something?
Sometimes music stores sell things like that too, if they sell alternative magazines and stuff..

Well, at least around here they do. :3
Great music/comic stores..

The only other place that I know of that sells comics is Barnes and Noble. And trust me, they don't have it. D;

Who says he's gonna grow older? O_O *horror music/lightning strike/door creak*
XD Have you read the Squee comic? I think there's one anyway, I remember seeing it once. :3

I got my Director's Cut from Border's. You can also always order it.

Yeah, Johnny is definitley one of my favorite comics. Not many things can compare to it, and I wish that he would do more work with those characters. They were just so priceless.

I need to get my hands on a copy of I Feel Sick.

I love JTHM, I Feel Sick, Squee and Zim. I wish they hadn't axed Zim!

I own the JTHM directors cut, Squee and the I Feel Sick comics. I'm in the UK and found the books in Forbidden Planet.

I started reading it in fifth grade.
I've loved it ever since.
I'm looking for I Feel Sick, but Borders doesn't have it. :(

I used to be crazy over Johnny the Homocidal Maniac but now it's just "meh." It's an excess of senseless violence, and an overuse of vulgar language that really grows thin. I do, however, love Vasquez's art style since it is unlike anything I've ever seen.
I've read "I Feel Sick" and "Squee" and tend to like those a little better than JtHM.

Jhonen Vasquez is God...

...I still have to get Jellyfist, though...

Has anyone read it yet? How was it?

I don't think there's an online or, or not an approved one of which I'm aware. I've rather enjoyed his works though. I think JTHM enjoys a following partially because of the -subjects- of his highly graphic violence. Most of them fall into categories of people that really irk a lot of people to begin with. Like Devi's old boyfriend.

My sister tends to compare me to Tena, though I don't see myself as quite that...hm. Hyperactive. I do have a Spooky squeak toy though. It drives the cat up a wall.
