I've read the first book, it seems interesting enough. I might read more, but I'm not sure yet. I know the first dvd has come out as well though, since I saw it the other day when I was at Best Buy so my boyfriend could buy another anime. xP

I saw the whole anime series, though I believe it's based on a game. It was pretty decent and cute overall but I have the feeling a lot is left out.
There's so many characters is got confusing pretty quickly and it's very light shonen-ai so don't expect much in that area.

The manga is definitely more thorough. I was able to get the names down of all of the characters before I finished the first manga, so it's probably better that you'd read the manga also. I usually don't watch the anime until after I've read the manga because it's usually not quite as good, and they leave out so much stuff that sometimes it can just be really confusing to even be watching it without reading at least the first volume or two of the manga first. I figure it's a lot like going to see the Harry Potter movies without reading the books. You may think you understand what's going on, but there's a lot of stuff behind the scenes that the movie won't touch on but the book goes through in it's entirity.

I played a little of the game and enjoyed what I could understand. And the TV series was really cute, but I think I'll definitely check out the manga.

My favorite characters are the artist and the archer. :3 Especially the archer. I can't ever remember their names, but I adore both of them.

Actually, the Gakuen Heaven game is what inspired me to continue my Japanese education.

I would ususally read the manga first but it wouldn't make sense for this series.

The anime was released before the manga was ever translated so that wasn't a possibility for me. Especially since they came out about the same time, I'm assuming they were planned separately and there's only one manga out even then.
In this case, the manga has the option of filling in the gaps of the anime, where usually the anime would condense what was given in the manga.
So most likely they're both based on the game which I don't think has been translated yet either.

I have the manga but never was into it that much. Reminded me of Only the Ringer Finger Knows a little. I never knew their was an anime based on it. Should look into it because it does some interesting after reading what people wrote. I might have to reread the manga.

I first heard of this anime at Ai-Kon.. I love it but I haven't watched it much as I hadn't watched any anime for a while... and really forget everything I learned from it other than I love it anyways.

  • I've read some of the manga. Love Yuu Higuri. <3

I'd recommend it if you're looking for some boys love. I love boys in uniforms...so...I'm biased. xD

I can't recall...but I do believe the game has some yaoi screenshots?

Here's the wiki site that talks a lot about the anime and games.

I've seen the entire anime, but that was about a year ago. I don't remember it very well. I just know I liked it at the time.

And that the ending was cheesy, haha.

I've never really read the entire manga. Only bits and pieces of it.

I tried out the anime but I got bored after two episodes and stopped. Not exactly sure what caused the boredom, I might not have been in the right mood for the series at the time (because I'm fickle like that) but I'm not too curious to start it back up again.
