(uuuhhhh... You confusied me DX I thought we were going to start this before she died? And if she was reincarnated it would have to be at least as old as she is that things have been like this... Sorry I thought i had explained this in the email DX I fail sometimes)

(That's what I originally thought too but your email sounded like you wanted to start it years after she died. Now we're both confused lol. I can redo my post in that case and how old does he need to be? And how long before they meet in the new world?)

(Well she's 16 before she dies and 18 when they meat so anywhere over 34 XP and we should start when they're running and trying to find the lab they need to get into... or when they're in the lab... and after the skip? I'm not sure really.... though he would be rather high ranking in society now since he's the one that made everything go back to the way it was supposed to be X3 )

(Ohh ok that makes a little more sense. Umm I'll edit it in a little while then. No computer tonight so I'm using my phone. Might be a lil later on tonight before I get to it. I'll ping you after I edit it so we can go on from there.)

Mera sighed as she looked around carefully trying to make sure that none of the androids were coming around. "I think it's okay to move now." she murmured quietly as she peaked around the corner then looked at her brother waiting for him to take the lead. She had grown up running with her brother though knew that there had been a world before this that was full of color and real people and people actually cared about each other. They weren't born into that world though... they were born into this cold cyborg version of the world where there was no more feeling or hurting or love or new people... it was always the same and she was sick of running and hiding and never getting anywhere. From what her parents had said they were the last human like beings in the world and that they had to live on and find a way to fix this twisted world. They were told about a few places to find these machines that were supposed to help though in every other place they couldn't find what they were looking for so she prayed that they found what they were looking for at this target and that they could fix this whole thing.

Len looked out from where they were hiding carefully. He wanted to make sure it was safe before they started moving again. The coast seemed to be clear. He reached down and took Mira's hand, squeezing it gently to reassure her. He spoke quietly, "Yeah it looks clear to me. Come on, let's go."

They had checked all the places they had been told about but each time they hadn't found what they were looking for. There was only one place left on their list. He hoped they would find something to help them there. This was their last chance. There was a very good reason this place had been left for last. Of all the places it was closest to the heart of the city where most of the androids were gathered and the most dangerous for them to go to. They had already had a few close calls. That last one had been too close for comfort.

Len looked back at his sister and gave her a quick smile. He would do anything to protect her, even give up his own life for hers. They slowly moved out onto the street, keeping to the shadows as much as possible and keeping their wits about them. It was going to be very tricky to get to the building. They were almost there, it shouldn't be more than mile up the road.

"There it is... there's no androids around right now thankfully though we must hurry.... this is our last shock and we HAVE to make it..." Mera whispered to her brother as they moved and she looked around quietly to make sure that they were safe. She was quite smart with dismantling the androids though it was quite tricky when there was more then one around so they needed to be careful. They had both gotten wounds from the last attempt to find the machine though thankfully they healled quicklyd and they were fine in only a short amount of time. She squeezed her brothers hand back softly and smiled at him some and knew she would die for him if the need came at hand. She was quite a strong girl though she did have her limits... five androids was her limit and after that she would pass out since she couldn't take too much of the stress from fighting them.

This was it! They were almost there! He looked back at Mera grinning until he saw the androids behind them. There had to be at least 20 of them, more than both of them could handle together. His smile quickly faded and terror filled his eyes. "Mera run!" The androids were quickly gaining on them as Len started to sprint, keeping a hold of his sisters hand.

Barely they made it inside just in time. Len looked around frantically searching for something to block the door with. He spotted a heavy looking dresser and shoved it with all his strength. Just in time it crashed down in front of the door. It wouldn't hold them for very long but maybe it would give them just enough time to find the machine and activate it. "We have to hurry! That's not going to hold them for very long." He started to look around and at the end of the hallway was the machine they had been looking for! He felt a surge of relief course through his body. Finally after all their searching they had finally found it!

He pulled Mera towards it with excitement. He could hear the abuse the door was taking as the androids began to hamer on it. He knew they were almost out of time. He hadn't noticed before but there was a button that would seal this room up, even the androids wouldn't be able to break through it. He started the sequence to activate the machine, having committed the process to memory after his parents had told it to them right before they had been killed. It was almost ready when he heard the door break apart. He looked up in horror as the androids stsrted to pour through coming straight for them.

Mera also looked up after they had finished working and the machine was just about ready. She knew that they had to hurry and she pulled out a bow and arrow and started shooting at the androids taking down a few of them since she knew where to hit them from practice with smaller ones. She then looked back at the machine and smiled some weakly. "It's almost ready we just need a few more minutes..." she said softly as she stood moving from the machine some as she shot at the androids and a few were armed with guns and started shooting at them. She looked at her brother then back at the robots then the machine. After about ten minutes she turned and grabbed her brothers hand. "Don't you dare try and stop me brother... they'll kill both of us... one of us needs to go and that needs to be you... you know more about this then I do... and I can't stand by and watch them tear you apart." she said as she pushed him into the machine and hit a button to lock the door... her mother had actually told her about this and she was supposed to tell him... though she didn't want him to lock her in there so she could watch him die. "Don't worry brother I will be fine." she smiled weakly to him as she got her bow and arrows knowing the androids would be on her at any second.

[/COLOR]Lan quickly punched in the rest of the code, working frantically to finish before the androids overtook them. He could hear Mera shooting off arrows to protect them as he rushed to finish the job. When she turned to look at him, he felt his heart lurch. The look in her eyes spoke of finality. Suddenly she pushed him into the machine and locked him in. "Mera! No!" He pressed himself up against the glass, grief shining from his eyes. In seconds the androids were on her and as he watched in horror, they tore her apart. Racked with grief he slumped to the ground, a breathless sob tearing out of his throat. The androids converged on the doors, trying in vain to break the glass.

Not wanting her sacrifice to be in vain, he stepped inside the machine as the light flashed, signaling it was time. Light pulsed around him as images swirled around his body. Sounds of humans talking, singing,laughing, screaming filled the chamber along with the images. Suddenly a bright light flashed and Len felt himself thrown forward. Blackness descended.

Mera couldn't hold back the screams of pain as she was being beaten to death though at one point she did get to the glass to tell her brother one last thing. "I'm sorry brother(caugh), but you must move on(caugh), you know about this more then I(gasps as she gets hit again), I'll never leave you brother(sighs weakly and in pain, never forget me... Or mom or dad... I love you Len... That is why you must live... I will meat you again(gasps as she gets hit again)... In the new world..." she breaths the last part as she was ripped away from the glass and screams out uncontrolably as she was tortured to death by the androids. She sacrificed herself for her brother and was absolutely sure they would meat again. She only had one regret as she was torn apart I. The prossesof being killed... She knew she had caused her brother pain and she was sorry of that though wouldn't have changed what she did even if she could.

Len woke u gasping for breath and soaked in sweat. He threw the rumpled blankets off him as he stumbled towards the bathroom in the dark. "Lights," he managed to gasp out. Instantly the bathroom was illuminated in soft warm light. He splashed water onto his face to try and chase away the dream. He could still hear her screams in his head, echoing.

It had been sixteen years since he had been thrown into this new world. Sixteen years since he had watched his beloved sister be torn into pieces in front of his eyes, sacrificing herself so that he could live on and fix the world that had been destroyed by machines. It was always the same in his dreams, her last moments playing in his head over and over again. It had gotten a little better as time had passed. He didn't have the dream every night like it had been in the beginning. Now it was only now and then but it never failed to have the same effect on him.
Len looked up into the mirror, haunted eyes staring back out at him. He missed Mera so much it hurt sometimes.

He went back out and sat down on the bed. Looking at the clock he saw it was 3 am. He groaned and laid back down on the bed. He had to be up in four more hours. He had meetings to attend today even though he would rather be off in the woods somewhere, able to trade his human form for that of the wolf that always lived in him. It was an ability he had shared with his twin. Changing always reminded him of the good times they had shared together and wiped the dream and the memories away from his troubled mind. It was useless to go back to sleep so instead he through on some clothes and went out on the balcony to look up at the clear night sky that was filled with stars. He remembered the skies when all you could see was a horrible gray cloud, covering everything. At least that gave him some comfort, being able to see the stars in this world.

(I thought we were skipping at least 18 years ahead? So they meat like almost at the age she had died at? Ow and do you think that they should work together or like she's a hired hand and she just applied to be one so he meats her today?)
