Revenge can be powerful. Revenge stays with you for a life time. It nags at your mind during our every waking moment until you finally act upon its impulse. But how far will its impact spread?

Peter had been playing out side with Hana for hours now before dinner was done. But this time when he threw the ball something else seemed to catch the small white dogs attention. Peter yell and chased after Hana as the dog suddenly went running. "HANA!" he chased till he reached the end of the lawn and raced back to the house to get help. "PAPA PAPA HANAS GONE!" He yelled growing teary eyed.

Berwald imeadetly shut off the stove and put down the spoon (he had been making stew) and stooped to hug Sealand and pick him up. "Shh wh't happen'd?" He asked leaving the kitchen to find Tino.

Tino had been reading the newspaper when he heard Peter come in. He set the newspaper down onto the table, then stood up and walked over to Peter and Berwald. "What is it, Peter?" He asked with concern.

One hand tightened in berwalds shirt and clung to it tightly while the other reached desprately for Tino. "M-Mommy, hana ran away" he sniffled

Berwald walked toward Tino looking worried

Tino's eyes dropped. He crouched and wrapped his arms around Peter. "Really?!" he asked. It was unlike the little white dog to simply run off; he loved it here, and was always so happy to see them.... He looked up into Berwald's eyes. "What should we do?" he asked, concerned "Shall we look for him?"

He nodded sniffling more "w-we were playing and he just ran away, i yelled and he didnt listen and now hes gone!" He hugged tino burying his face in his shoulder

Berwald nodded "ill g't a flash light its gett'ng dark"

Tino nodded slowly and stood up, cradling Peter in his arms. This was certainly strange.... He walked to the closet and grabbed a coat for himself and one for Peter. The sun was going to set soon, and it was getting cold.

Berwald grabbed a jacket for himself as well before heading down the basement for a muinete to grab three flashlights (peter would probably feel left out if he didnt get to have one as well). After he had them went went back upstairs and handed one to Tino and one to Peter.

Peter clung to Tino, he wanted to complain who cared about jackets an flashlights! They needed to go find hanna before bad people did! Bad people always found and took whatever you were looking for, then they refuse to give it back, thats why their bad people!

Tino looked at Peter with a frown. He didn't seem very eager to go search. He slipped the coat onto the boy. "Come on, Peter, don't you want to help us find Hanatamago?" he asked, setting him onto the ground and putting his own jacket on.

"Yes!" I just dont wanna wait get flashlights i wanna go!" He said childishly. "Lets go!" He tugged on tinos hand

Berwald gave tino a worried look and nodded to peter and tino "l'ts go"

Tino smiled at Peter and Berwald, then nodded. He walked towards the front door and opened it, then stepped out.

Peter followed clinging to tino. It was dark out and it was creepy... He hoped the found hanna soon...

Berwald walk on the otherside of the two puttibg a portective arm around tino. He flashed the flashlight around and looked around, rhere was something off about this... He didnt like it... Butthey needed to find hana

Elsewhere, a certain man lurked in the shadows. He noticed two beams of light patrolling and smirked. Perhaps they were finally coming out to search. It was about time. His opportunity would arise soon enough.

Tino stayed close to Berwald and shined his flashlight along the sidewalk, Peter walking beside him. He hoped they would find something. Something to give them a hint of Hanatamago's whereabouts.

Peter turned on his light to. And spotted a little bit of white fur "MOMMY DADDY LOOK!" He yelled excitedly there he was!

Berwald turned imeadetly "h'na?" He called hoping the dog would come... No movement.

Tino perked up, but, seeing nothing, he cocked his head to the side. He walked towards the area which was illuminated by Peter's light, and noticed something on the ground. Tino smiled, knowing what it was, and picked it up: a white clump of fur. "Peter, that isn't Hanatamago, it's only her fur." He laughed. They'd found a clue! She had to be nearby!

"YAY!" Peter raced forward closely followed by berwald. He raced around the area. After a few minutes he came back slowing down with a yawn. "I cant find Hana!"

Berwald watched his son run around looking for the dor like it was going to appear from no where

Tino pet Peter's head softly. "We'll find him eventually." he smiled. He noticed Peter's yawning. "Are you tired, Peter?" he asked. he turned to Berwald. "I can take him home if you want me to. He needs his rest; he's always out and about all day." he suggested.

Berwald nodded that sounded like a good idea. "Y's please do, He seems tired and sh'uld sleep"

Peter shook his head "no im not tierd i wanna stay and help!"

Tino smiled and picked up Peter. "You want to grow up to be big and strong, don't you?" He kissed Peter on the forehead. "Big boys need their rest. We'll find Hanatamago, and you'll be well rested and able to play with her again tomorrow." he encouraged

He looked unsure "but i wanna help!" He said

Berwald nodded "y'uve aready helped al't peter, now y'u should get some rest"

Tino nodded. "You have helped. You gave us a big clue. While we're gone, Papa is going to search, and once you're asleep, I'm going to come back here and help him look. Is that a deal?" He smiled

He huffed "okayyy". He pouted he was tired but he wanted to see hana!

Berwald put a hand on tinos shoulder "c'll me when your back"

Tino smiled and nodded. "I will!" he proclaimed as he turned around and started to walk away with Peter in his arms.

He wrapped his arms around tinos neck and waved bye to berwald as he was carried away.

Berwald watched them walk away before turning and searching even more

Tino sauntered away with Peter, looking down at his son. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it?" he asked.

Little did Berwald know, the dog was not there. A man stood still and waited as Berwald searched for his lost dog. He was alone now? Didn't he know how stupid it was to be out alone at night? And letting his "wife" walk home alone with only his son, no less? No matter, the man thought to himself. He'd get the other later. The man would simply have to wait until just the right moment before striking.

He was thankful that they lived in suh a nice area otherwise he might feel uncomfortable out at night with no weapons, he wasnt worried though "Hana" he called hoping the dog would come. He suddenly got an odd feeling, like someone was watching him......oh well he was just being paranoid

Peter nodded hugging Tino tightly as he yawned again. He started to drift off in his moms arms.
