Ana's characters
-Thea
-Currently no others

Lady Thea of Cleves
Description: Slightly haughty, with shrewd, honey-colored eyes and long golden hair. She prefers rich colors and is partial to exotic treasures, particularly jewelry and flowers. For this reason, she can often be seen out of the manor, roaming the town against her parents' wishes.
History: Thea is the seventeen year-old daughter of the current lord of Cleves. Due to complications during Thea's birth, her mother is sterile, making Thea the only legitimate heir to her father's land, though, as is the case with many lords, there is a possibility she has half-siblings. Because she is the only legitimate heir, the future of her father's land lies solely with her, as well as who she ends up marrying. Her father feels considerably involved in this decision, a fact which Thea, who isn't looking for love, loathes.

Mira's Characters:
-Algernon
-Currently no others

Algernon Kanoni
Description: Always-cheerful, good-humored, and polite to a fault, with slightly curly sun-kissed blonde hair and bright eyes the color of molten gold. He likes living simply but fashionably. He loves to paint, but rarely does so due to his current living and financial situation. Despite being what he is, he's super-friendly with most of the peasant locals and well-known around the area.
History: Algernon was born to a rich couple in South Africa who shamefully disowned him and shipped him off to Europe when he came out to them, as a young teenager, as being bisexual. He has a slight accent from having grown up in South Africa, but it's whittled away over the years. Having no parental guidance from the age of twelve on, Algie matured to be very open-minded and kind-hearted, accepting all people regardless of their race, orientation, gender, social class, or any other defining trait. He has little coin to his name and sometimes works odd jobs for the many lower and middle class families living in the area.

Delra, the woman Thea had lovingly called Nanny since childhood, knocked on the Lady's chamber door before entering, humming lightly to herself. She was a plump, elderly woman, three parts motherly and one part matronly. "Lady Thea! ...Lady Thea, it's time to get up. You've got a big day ahead of you!" Bustling around the room clucking her tongue, she shook her head. "Look at this - your best dresses scattered about the floor like dishcloths! I swear, if it weren't for me you'd live in a self-induced pigsty!" Her tone was scolding, but there was a smile on her face - she really did love Thea as a second mother would, and cared about her well-being.

It had been silent for a few minutes now, and Nanny frowned, looking over to the bed in the far corner of the room, its curtains drawn. Thea loved the morning sun - this wasn't a good sign. "No, Thea, not again... not today," Nanny mumbled, her voice low as she strode quickly over now and ripped the curtains back. The bed, still in a perfect mess, was empty, and Thea's shoes were missing. Nanny groaned. "Foolish girl... the trouble you'll get us in today!" She hurried from the room as fast as her plump legs would carry her. The young lady was out and about the town again, and it was imperative that she was escorted home as quickly as possible, before the Lord found out.

-----

Thea could, and had, disguised many aspects of her appearance for her morning roam, but one thing she couldn't erase was the smile - as free-spirited and excited as a child's - off her face. Bazaar days were the best not only in terms of sales and merchandise, but also for people-watching, one of Thea's favorite hobbies. She strode through the crowded marketplace as if she knew the streets by heart, stopping every so often when a jewelry stand or a street performer caught her eye. What a day to be free!
