I made this thread so I can whine about bands that I think are sucky. xD
I can give reasons, as well.
Three Days Grace. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Big hype about these guys at my school. I can't stand them. All of their songs are negative, crying about how they can't take it anymore or some other bullshit. They only have one OKAY song, in my opinion, and that is Animal I Have Become.

Fall Out Boy. Okay, so I Don't Care has a great beat and is a great song. But that's it. I like the voice to these guys, but honestly they're a bunch of posers, and their songs don't seem too original to me.

Tokio Hotel. I will get hell for this one. (But I also made this thread to see how angry you people would get. xD) I kind of like Ready Set Go, but Scream made me scream. In a bad way. All of the other songs I just don't care for or haven't heard.

Green Day. EFF YOU GREEN DAY FANS. EFF YOU. I can't STAND Green Day. I HATE them. I hope they FALL IN A HOLE AND DIE. (Letting it all out here, people.) The beat to their songs makes me angry, it's just sucky. All of their songs sound the same - the ones that I've heard, with the exception of Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, which sucks anyways.

I agree about you with a few of the bands you listed, minus Green Day. I'm not sure what's up with them, but the whole makeup and fuck the government thing doesn't really work for them.

The only band that actually deserves a mention in a thread like this, is Nickelback.

Most, if not all, boy bands are a complete turn-off to me. They can't even sing well, yet girls swoon at them... D:

For a while, they were just okay. Nothing great, everything sounded the same, but nothing was that wrong with them. Then they got a little annoying about two years or so ago. Whenever Photograph came out. Then the song Something In Your Mouth came out. That song is just so completely disgusting and degrading.

I hate Theory of Deadman, too. Bad Girlfriend was an awful song, but I Hate My Life is worse.

The entire song is just so whiny without any just cause.
He describes his wife in a really assholish way, and then wonders why he "never gets laid."
He then whines about how work sucks and he doesn't have much money. He's a rockstar. He has lots of money. His job is to make music. His job is the dream job of millions. Just shut up.

Right, okay. When I first saw this thread, I couldn't think of any bands that I hated. Just now, I read through some and remembered. I hate Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Demi Lavato, and Daughtry. I don't know why I hate Daughtry. But whenever I turn on the radio to one of his songs, I just have to change it. Oh, and most female singers, rappers, country singers, and boy bands.

Fall out boy is a joke band. They're not supposed to be taken seriously. O.o;

There's a lot of bands out there that I don't like. Good Charlotte is one that sticks out to me that hasn't been mentioned. I don't support artists who are homophobic for one thing. Another thing is that their music just sucks in quality. Adien, Avenged seven fold, Duffy, Fergie, and Sara and Tegan are pretty far up there as well.

I hate pop (no offense), so that means I hate the Disney bands... XD

I hated N*Sync before, as well as A*Teen, S Club 7, and even Backstreet Boys... <_<

Sorryy but personally I think Miley Cirus or whatever her name is deserves to be in here more than ANYTHING. Shes a signer for Dinsey and do you see the way she dances?! And how short her skirts are? o___o I mean seriously what kind of image is that to little girls all over the world? <.<

Because my favorite band (Green Day) gets a lot of shit, and because I'm generally very sensitive, and because I don't see any reason to, I don't really spend much energy hating bands... if I don't like them, that's that, and I don't listen to them...

Metallica, Seether, Dave Matthews Band. (Vomits and dies) I wish them nothing but the worst.

I have a friend who is a Green Day nut, and she claims she hates Seether with every fiber of her being. I know, I know: To each their own. Or some such crap. But it kind of ticks me off that she hasn't heard a single one of their songs, all except for Empty, which sucks anyways. >.>

Katy Perry. I don't know why, but I just hate her sound, her look, her attitude. I dislike her with a passion. They play Hot and Cold at school dances and kids skip up and down the halls screaming it at the top of their lungs. But, no, when I sing a Brokencyde song, everyone has the time to stop and stare at me like I'm an alien.
P.s. Singing '2 Drunk 2 Drive' out loud in a public area is not a good idea.

Where to start?

Fall Out Boy - Just plain awful. Shitty two-bit song structure over and over and over and over again until it makes me want to vomit blood from every orifice until my lungs and kidneys rupture and I DIE.
Green Day - Well, I'm talking about post-Dookie. Dookie and before were actually kind of good, and after that they turned into the biggest piece of sellout since Metallica, except Metallica actually had [HAD, HAD] talent.
Paramore - Like Fall Out Boy in a sense that the same structure is used over and over again. They do have a few select good songs, but cute singer = / = good band.
My Chemical Romance - No. Just no. I can't even start to describe how much I hate this band. I wish cancer upon every single person associated with that band's production of music. These guys make me want to go become a hermit.
Three Days Grace - Oh, how cool! How original! A rock band that makes songs about riots and bad relationships! A rock band whose guitarists crunchy-ness makes my ears ring and bleed! No.
Nickelback - Get the hell off my world and stop breathing my air, you fools. Waste of resources.
Linkin Park - AARRGGHHHHHHHHH.
Coldplay - These guys piss me off. Not only did they BLATANTLY steal from Joe Satrani [who, by the way, is an amazing guitarist and songwriter] but they admitted it and said "lol we don't give a fuck". Arrogant, rich-boy pricks.
U2 - Actually, the only things that piss me off about this band are their cowboy hats and Bono. Burn the hats and replace Bono with someone talented, like a squirrel, and you have a decent band.




And here comes the overrated bands that aren't bad, just way too highly though of.

AC/DC - Strangely popular for a band whose every song sounds exactly the same. I also get pissed off when people say "yeah lol i listen to metal, like AC/DC and stuff dude hahaha". If you think AC/DC is metal, you need to go drink bleach, pronto.
Metallica - Actually was very very very good, pre-Black album. Kill 'Em All was a great album, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets were pretty good, ...and Justice For All was their peak, Black was okay, Load onwards blows. If you're a thrash metal band, don't make songs that AREN'T THRASH METAL FFS.
Motley Crue - Some of their songs are pretty good. Shout at the Devil, Home Sweet Home, Dr. Feelgood are all pretty good, but these guys are COCKY ASSHOLES.

The Jonas Brothers- you guys are so horrible that when I listen to you I do not want to kill myself. I am beyond that with them. I just laugh and giggle.

Lady Gaga- I watch one music from here and I recommend you do not. Her music is horrible. The music video does not make sense and all she does is acts like a whore.

Eminim- A white Rapper. Need I say more?

Daft Punk- they have one good song (harder,better,faster,stronger). That one song is nothing that I would really want to listen to, but it does make me do work well. They are overated and not really that good for techno. The Prodigy wipes the deck with the to robotic sobs.

Acon- He throws white kids off of stages and his voice is annoying. If he were my child I would punch him every time he talks.

Hannah Montanna- Just die...

Katie Perry- Nothing spectacular... When I had to listen to 'I Kissed A Girl' 20 times a day at work I really wanted to kill something. I wish she was right there at the time...She would not be able to sing again.

Lil Wayne- 'In the Hood' made me lol.
